We had a wonderful stay at Silver River Adobe In. It was great to talk with David over breakfast about all manner of things, including so much New Mexico history. It felt like a perfect welcome to the state and really set the tone for the rest of our trip. The room was also clean, comfortable, and spacious and breakfast was lovely. Downtown Farmington is also very cute! I hope to make it here again someday soon.

very cute room, excellent views of river around sunset. careful not to lock yourself out. Diana and Dave are extremely nice and a bit chatty so plan this into your morning routine. we left a personal item of moderate value and they went to the trouble of mailing it back to us.

It's a lovely, warm place with a modest view to the San Juan river from the cottonwood room. I loved the atmosphere and the history owners shared with us. My daughter enjoyed the large windows facing the river.

If you are planning a trip in the Four Corners NM region that may need a place to exist for a night or two; and can tolerate not having a TV remote in your hand, please make the reservation. Dave and Diana (not Diane) are wonderful hosts in every way. All will leave the stay wiser and fulfilled. P.S., use the Farmington Firehouse Station #6 driveway to get to the Inn; there's a paved access that is much easier to navigate.

What a beautiful place! We had a wonderful time with beautiful scenery. Tucked away overlooking the river we were able to capture shots of birds and wildlife. Our hosts Diane and David were amazing. We had great conversations and a delicious breakfast. Our room was beautiful and clean. We look forward to another relaxing visit.

We had a memorable experience with Diane and David at their wonderful bed and breakfast on the San Juan and Animas rivers. It was a perfect place to rest and recharge while enjoying the local sights. Diane's breakfasts were delectable, and we found it hard to tear ourselves away from the ambiance and conversation in their dining room with its view of cottonwoods and flowing water. We stayed in the Cottonwood Room, and it was spacious and comfortable. Everything is immaculately clean. The bed and bedding were excellent.|Farmington has the amenities of a small city and is close to the Aztec Ruins Monument and the Salmon Ruins. It is also one of the closer locations with access to Chaco Canyon. Silver Rivers Adobe is on the periphery of development, but has a remote feel. Our hosts are people we would love to continue to know.

What a fantastic tucked away haven! Right beside the river with access to the bank, rustic rooms with unique interiors, and a lovely host couple that were very fun to chat with! Diana and David were very welcoming and accommodating, providing breakfast in the morning in their lovely kitchen but also willing to let you have your space if needed. ||I enjoyed going to the river in the morning, and the bedding was very cozy and comfortable. I’ve already told my friends and family about this place, and I will definitely be returning the next time I’m passing through Farmington!

Yelp
Disappointed! Upon my arrival, it was dark and difficult to see the sign and driveway. I ended up driving across in front of the fire station. Still not able to see the sign, I drove down a long trail to the rustic looking Silver River Inn B & B. I was warmly greeted by the host and escorted to my room. For the three days I was there, I was never asked for proof of Covid vaccination, also didn't see or hear anything about a spa. Breakfast was served to me in my room, Covid precaution. I was very disappointed in breakfast. Coffee and a muffin, that's it. For the prime price that was charged, I thought something more substantial would be served for breakfast. I'm not fond of anything made with goat but that was never a consideration from the host. The room has lots of windows but the river was barely seen. There's an embankment with shrubs and trees that block the view. The small room had 3 doors, was comfortable and well equipped with wifi (don't know how good it is since I used my cellular data), a room heater (kept the room warm in chilly October), fridge, microwave, utensils, 2 plates, 2 bowls, and 2 cups. A small seat was in the room but it was so hard it would be impossible to sit on it for any length of time. There is a private bathroom with full shower & hot water, another small heater, lots of washcloths, a hand towel, shampoo & conditioner, body lotion, a tiny square of soap and ONE bath towel. I felt the need to wear my flip flops in the shower. I received a text and voicemail wanting to know my arrival time. I didn't respond because I was driving. When I could check my phone (upon my arrival) I responded. The host was kind and understanding. I also sent 2 texts to the host during my stay, both unanswered. Everything is organic or as close to organic as possible. That's cool! There's no TV, not even a radio. You have to provide your own entertainment. I was scheduled to check out the following morning but left early due to frustration, boredom, and poor amenities. I will not return to Silver River Adobe Inn B & B. It's not a B&B and It's not worth the money $$$. Read ALL the reviews before booking! All in all, the fee is for nothing more than a place tp sleep. My wallet is screaming, RIP OFF!!!

Yelp
Love this Bead and Breakfast. The rooms are cute and comfortable. The Inn is right on the San Juan River and the rooms face the river. Breakfast is delivered to your room. I highly recommend the Silver Adobe and hope to stay there again.

Yelp
This was a great change of pace from the typical commercialized hotel fare! It was very quiet, off the main road, and beautifully located just off the San Juan River. Couldn't have a better view first thing in the morning! The breakfast was phenomenal, homemade crepes, fresh fruit, fresh coffee, and fruit juice. I really enjoyed talking to the owner over breakfast and hearing about the history of the area as well. Couldn't ask for much more. The one con is that the internet connection is very weak...but for me, it forced me to go unplugged for the day/night so I didn't mind a bit! Definitely worth checking out if you're around Farmington!

Yelp
This is a terrible place to stay. We were traveling from Utah and were delayed in getting to the Inn during their posted 4-7pm check-in window, so we called ahead, apologized, and told them we wouldn't be able to arrive until 8:30pm (it was still twilight outside). This news was greeted with considerable bitterness on the part of the proprietors who made it clear how much this was going to inconvenience their schedule and keep them up beyond their normal bedtime. When we did arrive, the female host was extremely curt with us, and did little to welcome us or show us around the place. Rather she told us that because of our "extremely late" arrival that evening, she was not going to make breakfast for us in the morning (our punishment I guess). While the room was rustic with an antique charm, it was not well maintained. The overhead ceiling light was not working, the king mattress was hard as a board, the single pillows provided for each side of the bed were extremely flat, and the towels in the bathroom were clearly old and very worn. Worst of all, the toilet paper roll in the bathroom was half used up when we got there and there was no spare roll anywhere to be found! (As was the tissue box in the room and both were used up for emergency purposes in short order). Visitors should be warned to provide their own soap as the brand supplied by the Inn was tiny and formulated to produce no lather. Even more irritating was the fact that despite it's somewhat remote location on the outskirts of town, the sound of semi-trucks barreling down the freeway throughout the night made it difficult to sleep. We have never felt so unwelcome visiting a B&B in all of our 35+ years on the road. This place might have once been a good place to stay, but today the elderly proprietors are clearly tired of offering these services (especially given their professed paranoia about getting Covid). No wonder we were their only guests that evening (too bad we didn't get the inside scoop on their false ratings). We couldn't wait to get out of there in the morning!!!

Yelp
We were travelling through Farmington, NM, and we stayed at the SILVER RIVER ADOBE INN, a charming Bed & Breakfast rustic hideaway right on the San Juan River. Our room was very cozy and comfortable, and we enjoyed views of the San Juan River immediately outside our large and cheerfully bright windows. There were several chairs outside to relax & enjoy the view - but today the weather was rainy & cold! Breakfasts were tasty, delicious and healthy! - Diana is quite health-conscious, so we had wholesome crepes with raspberries one day, and blackberry-chocolate-filled muffins and fresh fruits next morning. Hosts Diana & David were wonderfully gracious throughout our stay, and made sure our accommodations were just right. David is especially knowledgeable about the area, including its history, industry and economics - a fascinating conversationalist. Definitely an enjoyable and relaxing experience, and highly recommended. We plan to come back in the summer.

Yelp
My wife and I spent two wonderful nights at the Silver River Adobe Inn in Farmington, NM. The inn was calm and restful in a lovely setting on the San Juan River, but the real attraction were the innkeepers, David and Diana, as well as their son Gram who could not have been more gracious and welcoming. We enjoyed chatting with them enormously, for they have an encyclopedic knowledge of the area. David kept us entertained with his stories of local life. Intelligent and enjoyable conversation was an enormous plus. Very highly recommended!!! Michael

Yelp
Stayed here on a Saturday night in August after exploring Mesa Verde. Called at the last minute and got the last available room. A little hard to find using Google maps. Had to call for directions. This is a little oasis in Farmington situated on the San Juan river. We watched the sunset while listening to the flowing river. Our room was tastefully done with lots of natural wood and cool cement floors. The room was cool in the 90 degree heat. Our hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the area.

Yelp
Absolutely the best. I'd give this place 10 stars out of 5. David is a font of information about the 4 Corners area. Diana prepares some of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Beautiful location overlooking the San Juan River. Central location if you are visiting Chaco, Mesa Verde, Canyon de Chelly, Hovenweep, or other sites. We were here for 2 weeks and will certainly come back. Don't miss this place if you are coming to this area.

Yelp
Beautiful spot on a bluff just above the river. I stayed in the Cottonwood Room and the view is great, and you can fall asleep to the sound of the water. Room, bathroom, and breakfast all good and the price is reasonable. One caveat. Try to arrive before dark as it is located at the end of a gravel driveway behind a firestation.
