Silver Sand Sea Princess Beach Resort, Port Blair

We had a fantastic family trip to Andaman and stayed at Silver Sand Sea Princess Resort in Port Blair for two nights. The experience was absolutely wonderful! The staff, including those at the reception, restaurant, and housekeeping, were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more pleasant. Singer at restaurant singing beautiful melodies was fantastic.The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered breathtaking sea views. The food quality was excellent, with a variety of delicious options. The highlight was the private beach, which added a magical touch to our stay. Waking up to the serene ocean view was truly refreshing. Highly recommend this resort for a peaceful and luxurious stay in Port Blair!

A great place to stay when in Port Blair. It was quiet and not crowded during our stay, but we’ve been told there’s a good amount of partying going on too if you’re looking for that. The beach is beautiful for sunset and hanging out even if swimming there isn’t allowed. The staff are happy and are great with children. Our daughter had a small fall and the staff tended to her very gently and lovingly. Vishal spent a good amount of time speaking with us and recommending places to visit and explore. Good visit overall.

Great location. Clean and well designed rooms. But all rooms advertised as sea view are not really having a sea view. better to talk to hotel once before booking. Another downside is that, the Wandoor beach is infested with Crocodiles hence venturing into water is not allowed at the beach. Food quality at A-la-carte restaurant is very good though service is slow. The buffet Lunch / dinner is not value for money considering the variety in Menu.

We stayed at this resort during our family trip to Andaman, and it was a fantastic experience. The resort offers stunning sea views, a private beach, spacious rooms, and delicious food. We traveled with our 2-year-old daughter, and the staff kindly assisted us in preparing baby food. The highlight was the private beach access and kids’ play area, perfect for family fun. Breakfast had a great variety. The only downside is the resort’s distance from the city, so you’ll need to plan sightseeing accordingly. We recently stayed at Silver Sand Sea Princess Hotel, and it had been quite a pleasant experience. Upon arrival, the staff informed that our booking had been upgraded to a premium room. The extra space and amenities made a significant difference, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. All time access to the private beach was definitely the highlight of our stay. The breakfast served featured few, but very delicious dishes. It was the perfect way to start the day. What truly stood out, though, was the kindness of the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay enjoyable. Whether it was at the front desk or in the dining area, their warm demeanor made a lasting impression.

Dec 2024. We were in the just finished new section -see pictures. The rooms are nice and of good standard but the owner needs to take care of the various places with visible water ingress in the building (unfinished afterwork). The personnel are friendly and very helpful. Food was also good, breakfast had wonderful oats but we tried also all the local stuff.It is a very good alternative to staying in Port Blair waiting for your flight, travel time to the airport is 40-45 minutes. The massage service can be recommended. The beach is nice for walking - sea crocodile sanctuary - no swimming.

The resort is in a great. I had the following issues: 1) The resort is far off from main city. It takes 45 to an hour to commute back and forth. 2) The food is a big disappointment. It is very expensive and not very tasty. Since there are no alternative near by, it sucks. 3) Breakfast is bigger issue. We stayed 6 days. The food was pretty much same except for few nuances. There was no hot kitchen items such as fresh omelet, dosa, pancakes etc. For the amount that is being charged, you expect a quality stuff. Hugely disappointed especially the kids since they were anticipating it very much from their previous experiences. 3) Jacuzzi at the room was another joke. You need a lot of patience to to fill the tub and hot water may not be there to keep it hot. Kids used it couple of times and I did not have the patience to go for it. 4) We had to stay at the Cabin rooms one day. There was day and night difference between rooms. I would never recommend staying the cabin rooms. It is really old and not worth the price. 5) Room service was another huge issue. Anything we ordered had to be followed up couple of times before they were brought in. Sometimes the ordered items were not available and we were informed after 30 mins about unavailability. Generally the staff were very friendly.

Very beautiful Sea princess resort and excellent service Mr bishal is very corporative and caring person. He is always ready to help. Room are also too good and the food is also tasty .they have a nice senset beach. I celebrate my 61 birthday here .
