Silverado Resort

Our experience at Silverado Resort was exceptional from beginning to end thanks to the outstanding service from both Jason and Jack at the Front Office. Jason, the Front Office Manager, went above and beyond to help us with our reservation and billing concerns. He was incredibly responsive, patient, and thorough, making sure every detail was handled quickly and correctly. His professionalism and genuine care truly stood out. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Jack at the front desk was also amazing. He assisted us with such kindness and efficiency, making the check in process smooth and stress free. His warm attitude and willingness to help made a wonderful first impression and set the tone for our stay. We stayed in the Premium Mansion King Room and it was absolutely stunning. Spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The room captured the charm and elegance that Silverado is known for and made our stay feel truly special. The resort itself is beautiful with peaceful grounds, great amenities, and a relaxing atmosphere that makes it perfect for a Napa getaway. From the service to the accommodations, everything exceeded our expectations. Jason and Jack are exceptional at what they do and Silverado Resort is truly lucky to have them. We will definitely be returning.

It was an amazing experience to stay in Silverado resort, even though the weather wasn’t helping. Staffs, especially front desk person, were super welcoming and nice. This resort has peaceful view that I really enjoyed. I definitely will come back for my Napa trip.

Overall the resort is a step into luxury. Love all that the grounds offer from games to coffee shop/store to fire pit sitting areas. A shuttle around the property is available and was a welcome. We stayed in an area with more of a time share vibe. Next time I want to be near the mansion. Great for families, dogs and getaway.

Their customer service is the worst I’ve experienced. I called multiple times to sign up for an exercise class, but nobody picked up. When I showed up at the reception, they sent me to the spa to register, but there was no one there either. Eventually someone showed up, but they were quite rude and simply told me to go to the class, without any instructions or explanation of how the signup process works. In the end, I just walked into a class. Everyone there said they were dissatisfied with the service because everything feels disorganized. Staff keep routing people around, but no one actually helps solve the problem. At least the class itself was nice. The instructor was very patient, even though the staff didn’t help much with the sign-up process or provide extra gear. Both the hotel and fitness receptionists had an attitude. Some club members even said the service here is rude. I’m very surprised and honestly a bit sad about the experience.

Positive: Hospitality Negative: Bike riding not available as advertised. The price of our stay was charged twice to my debit card. We requested a late check out but when we came back to our room there were people inside already , throwing away our belongings. Long wait for the spa.

Fantastic resort! We booked a home here, 3 bed, 2 bath.. and spent time after Christmas 3 days 2 nights. We enjoyed golfing, tennis and warm water pool, and weather was fortunately Sunny days mostly during our stay. Napa downtown is in proximity gives access to more food options! Resort staff is friendly and amenities are great! Would like to visit again!

Great space to host a conference. Exceptional service and food, the best buffet conference food I've ever had (and I've had plenty!). Couldn't be more impressed with the property and staff overall. Great job, Silverado Resort!

We stayed at the resort knowing in advance that the spa was under renovation. However, the massage experience took place in a standard hotel room with no effort made to create a relaxing spa ambiance. While we understood the temporary situation, the pricing did not reflect the reduced setting or overall experience. We had hoped for more thoughtful accommodations or an adjusted rate during the renovation period.

I was a bit hesitant to stay at Silverado, because it had a bit of a reputation for being dated and run down. However, I had heard that they were doing renovations over the last few years, and from what I could see, it looked lovely! We stayed here for three nights mid week and had a great time. Unfortunately, we didn't get one of the updated rooms, but in all honesty, everything was so clean and comfortable, that I didn't mind. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, and we enjoyed just walking around in the sun with a nice cocktail and then heading over to the pool or a restaurant. One note I will put is that it is very family friendly, which in my opinion is a good thing, but there were a lot of young children monopolizing the pool, so be prepared for that. In addition, the price for the room was very reasonable for Napa, and it was a short Uber ride to downtown Napa, Yountville, and many good wineries. We will happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a more casual resort with reasonable prices and a family friendly atmosphere.

We had a very pleasant stay here! Was here as a guest for my sister's conference that was hosted on the grounds. Upon driving in, there's a grand front yard with main house that makes for a dreamy estate entrance. It's a large property with various markets, restaurants, and bars to explore. Centrally located in Napa where driving to other destinations was only around 10-20 minutes. Upon arrival to our room, there was a bottle of wine which was a great welcome gift, very fitting for Napa! The room was large which included 1 bedroom, 1 kitchen area, and a living room with circular dining table. We were also able to request a cot which was useful with the kids. The room is very bedroom centric where the bathroom and the large private patio is only accessible through the bedroom. Some updating would be useful with living room furniture and the cots. I unfortunately did not take advantage of all the amenities such as the golf course or spa because I was on babysitting duties, but we did utilize the pool (there's 2) every day which was clean and towels ready everyday. The weather was on the colder side so the hottub was nice! One of the pool entrance doors was not opening with a key card so a little bit of an annoyance to have to walk to the other side to get in. We did spend a lot of time by the front yard and the market deli which has good breakfast/lunch options and woodfired pizza for dinner!

I recently stayed here as a fun relaxing getaway. I booked a standard King Room. The property itself is beautiful. Not too big that makes it unwalkable but big enough to not feel cramped or that it's overrun with people. They have plenty to do on property and a lot of sitting areas both in and outside that make it so you can park yourself anywhere and be comfortable. Our favorite was the courtyard at the spa, so comfy and quiet! The staff were all friendly and provided exceptional service. Always willing to help with whatever they could. Our room was the only reason I took a star off. In all of my research, including the property website, there wasn't a great picture of the standard rooms (just the suites). The standard rooms are pretty small. With two people in the room it was pretty tight to be able to move around with our luggage in tow. There's a lot of positives to the room like nice patios, a mini fridge and they were very clean. I'd stay again but only if I get a suite, otherwise I'd probably try some other properties.

This is my second time attending an event at Silverado Resort. Wow, this place is nice. All the staff were so friendly. The food was great. Previously, one of our friends got a room and we all loved hanging out there. They also have weddings here. Great job everyone at Silverado Resort.

6:00pm After the golf tournament on Sunday, Jax was superb. Through small talk he said he's only been here for a month but has exceeded all of our expectations in customer service as if he'd been working here his whole life. As someone who frequents resorts all around the world, Jax was world class.

This is for the pool specifically! My friend's dad is a member at Silverado and so we go to the pool often, Prescott and Cheyenne really made the pool experience so amazing! They're incredible - if you need a drink they're on it, if you need food - say less. Highly recommend their carnitas or barbacoa - soooooo good. And their strawberry lemonade spritz? Game changer. We love their vibe and I'm so glad we got to have them around!

Went to an event on a long weekend in Napa at Silverado Resort. The resort is so quiet and peaceful. Love watching the sunrise on tranquil morning walks where it seemed like I had the property all to myself. Fun to meet one of the presenters and talk to him as we walked to The Mansion. Our room was huge. So much space for one couple. The one bedroom apartment had a full kitchen, dining table, and a large living room and bedroom separated by a sliding door. The balcony overlooking the golf course was the entire length of the condo unit. Nice to have eco friendly aluminum water bottles replenished on a daily basis. Took the complimentary bottle of wine home to share with friends. The reserved parking spot was great. The food was good overall. Breakfast was similar each morning. Would recommend adding a few more healthy options. This is California after all. Lunches and dinners had good choices, too. They were nice to make an alternative dish for us minus the shellfish. Make sure to list what is included on the buffet either completely or not at all. (Chicken wonton soup that has pork wontons should be listed as chicken soup with pork wontons.) They did run out of desserts due to people at the conference piling their plates, but probably did not need that anyway. Loved dinner and wine tasting under the oaks in The Grove. Would be scared to look at the open bar tab for the long weekend. Surprise that with all of the liquor flowing that only one bartender seemed to know how to make mocktails. (Thank you Yelp for all of those virtual classes during the beginning of 2020.) Location is a short drive to other spots in Napa Valley. Check out the Gordon Huether Art Studio down the road. Art Matters.

Silverado Resort truly exceeded all expectations every detail of my stay was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm, attentive customer service to the beautifully appointed rooms, every moment felt luxurious and well-curated. Brunch at The Grill was absolutely phenomenal and easily one of the highlights of the trip. I celebrated my birthday here, and the staff made the experience feel incredibly special for both me and my guests. From the moment we arrived, we were taken care of whether it was seamless transportation around the property or ensuring we had everything we needed to feel comfortable and cared for. This resort is the definition of peace, elegance, and refined hospitality. I came for the vineyards, but found myself wanting to spend more time simply enjoying the serenity of the resort. If you're looking for a luxurious and tranquil escape in Napa, I can't recommend Silverado enough. I'm already planning my next trip and this time, I'll definitely be staying longer. Shoutout to Charles (golf cart driver and bell hop) his service was amazing. Thank you Silverado for an unforgettable experience. Loved loved loved

This is extremely unbelievable disappointment for my daughter who is celebrating her milestone birthday. We walked in with strong smell, I expressed my concern right away, according to the staff member who walked in with us is due to new carpet, but I attached the photo of the condition on the floor, there's no way this is new carpet, and walked into bedroom, accouter three spiders in shower, next to bed and another giant flying spider in living room as photo shows! The spiders were different colors, and I really do not know what kind, are they possible poison or not. The condition of the room is unacceptable to any stander! I am sure no parents will be happy to take chances with the spiders in the room or possibly take any bugs home with them. I am extremely disturbed and hoping that the reviews will help with management team fixing the issue for others in the future!

I was hoping to have an amazing stay at this resort from reading all the good reviews and not worrying about the 3 stars it has. Well unfortunately I would give it a 3 stars as well. My husband and I stood here on a business trip and I was so excited thinking omgoodness Napa, wine country what a beautiful resort, so you can only imagine how much I was looking forward to seeing this place. First, yes the complex is beautiful no doubt about it, food was tasty, rooms where ok, problem I had with my room was the shower. The worst experience I've ever had with a shower, first day low shower, second day , the shower got lower and we called front office and it took them an hour and a half to come and try to fix it. Well, you can only imagine the frustration, day we are leaving, only drops of water and we had to shower with a wash cloth, smh and we have a 7 hour drive home, they tried to come and fix but we where leaving home already, a little too late don't you think. So make sure when you stay here, check your shower before staying in your room. We stood in the cottage area north. One thing they did do is discounted the room for one night, well that helped my husband company, but they should of gave us complementary breakfast for what we went through, do better Silverado Resort.

Great experience with our group during a winter visit to Napa. Rooms were fantastic -- more like a one-bedroom apartment than a hotel room, with plenty of space to work and relax, a wine fridge (it IS Napa...), comfortable beds, etc. The grounds were beautiful, despite some construction going on. Staff was friendly and helpful, and all the meeting services went smoothly. We do a lot of meetings, and generally things here were better than most. Food was also very good, and well above average at multiple meals, both at our group breakfasts and lunches and in the restaurant. Bottom line -- I'd definitely recommend Silverado for a visit or meeting. It's not a new facility (if you're hung up on that), but they do everything a quality hotel is supposed to do, and do it well. And if you eat in the dining room -- get the carrot cake for dessert. Amazing.

Silverado is a wonderful resort located in Napa. We booked their one bedroom suite which came with full kitchen as well as two private (one enclosed) patio. The property has golf course, and tennis courts. We saw families with kids on the property as well as guests with dogs (dog friendly). The rooms were clean and it was funny to run into housekeeping staff on their golf carts. Bed was on the firm side but comfortable. Front desk was located inside the mansion. The staff were really friendly and parking was free and abundant near the rooms. Would stay here again if opportunity presents. Highly recommend.

Great stop for a quick bite and a great view!! Sat on the patio with the fire pit overlooking the main house. The Caesar wrap was perfect!!

Great conference meeting space, good food, awesome service. Cottages are clean, quiet, and comfortable.

We really like staying here and the room are spacious and clean. We bought tickets for the NYE party last night and there was no where to sit. I asked several staff to please help us find a place to sit and no one cared, not one iota until I asked for our money back. Then a manager came and was very unhappy with me because I was unhappy and she was busy. We were not the only ones who didn't have a place to sit but we are senior citizens and I am in a shoe brace healing a broken foot. I complained that they charge $175 for a ticket to stand up for hours???? I was highly pissed to say the least but they did finally set up a table for us and others after about 20 minutes. I didn't have a good time because the staff was not accommodating at all in the beginning and I almost left back to our room anyway. The only nice thing was the manager asked if I'd like a bag of ice for my foot. We felt so ripped off. They really need to advertise that it's First Come First Serve because I overheard today in the lobby that they OVERSOLD tickets. I wonder if the fire department knows that they do this! It was very CROWDED! I really hate writing this review but people need to know because you plan to have a great time and travel to get here and it's a rude awakening.

**Absolutely Devastated - Horrible Experience at Silverado Resort** If I could give this place zero stars, I would. After driving four hours, we arrived at Silverado Resort around 4 PM, expecting a relaxing, romantic getaway. Instead, our stay has been an absolute nightmare, and I'm writing this review at 4:29 AM because I can't sleep from the frustration and discomfort. We booked a one-bedroom suite for one night, hoping for a memorable experience. What we got instead was a night of misery. The AC in our unit was broken. We called the front desk, and they sent someone to look at it. He came, supposedly fixed it, and we tried to take a nap, hoping to shake off the exhaustion from our drive. But we woke up around 10 PM drenched in sweat--the AC was clearly not fixed. We called the front desk again, and the same maintenance guy showed up, shocked that the AC wasn't working. He knew it wasn't working the first time! Yet, instead of moving us immediately, he offered to bring us a fan, unsure if we could be moved. By this time, it was already after 10 PM, and they finally offered to move us to another room. But who wants to pack up and move after a long day when all you want is to rest? My husband was too tired, so we accepted their pitiful offer of $100 off, no resort fee, and a fan. Thinking the night couldn't get worse, I went outside to cool off, hoping the open windows and fan would help. How wrong I was. It's unbearably hot, and my husband has woken up twice, soaked in sweat. Half of our bed is wet, and now he's moved to the living room to try to sleep on the couch. I called the front desk again, desperate for fresh sheets, towels, and another fan, but the girl at the desk claimed her hands were tied. I'm beyond upset. What was supposed to be a romantic weekend, complete with checking out their wedding venue, has turned into a total disaster. I'm so turned off by this experience that I can't even imagine wanting to return. The moment they realized the AC wasn't working properly, they should have moved us, not waited until almost 11 PM after we had to call maintenance again. This level of negligence is inexcusable. Now, I can't even sleep in the same bed as my husband, and I'm sitting here wide awake, regretting every moment of our stay. Silverado Resort, you have completely ruined what was supposed to be a special weekend. I am devastated and will never, ever consider returning.

Spent 3 nights at the Silverado resort. Was amazed at the dinner being SO PERFECT for this venue! Absolutely delicious.! The family had only outstanding comments on the service and the meal..

We came for a wedding, and wow, what an absolutely gorgeous resort with incredible staff! We had a lot of fun riding golf carts around the property. My only feedback is that our room (610) was too crowded; we barely had space to move around or open our large luggage. There was also a spider crawling in the bathroom... eeek. I think the rooms could use a bit of a revamp. However, I would still recommend this spot as the property and service were just incredible!

Very welcoming staff. Well appointed room (ir studio suite/king: had back yard, kitchenette, microwave, fireplace). Best thing is bathroom sink area is well lit--anyone who puts on make up can appreciate. Nice cotton towels and bedding. All extra amenities such as shower cap, quips..., you need to ask for, including the presto log for the fireplace. Front desk staff is on the inexperienced side and the concierge not the most polished.

I wouldn't even give this place a negative star. This resort lacks class and customer service. Couldn't get anything to eat 5 minutes before 9:00 pm. To add, I was offered plastic cups for a nice bottle of wine. The rooms are outdated, never again. ​

What a fall from grace this place is. Thirty years ago this resort was pure class and elegance. Rooms are outdated, food overpriced and terrible. Also their "group" customer service line NEVER answers. I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist therefore you will never be able to modify your reservation. This place is a scam. So many other options!!

My rating is for the reservation team. I sent an email requesting a cancellation of our stay and to rebook for a different date. I received an email back that said to reply to email with a new date and did not indicate a timeframe to respond. Once I responded they indicated the following - The email was sent on July 21st when you were interested in changing. Your reservation was for arrival on 7/26, so you were marked as a no-show. This reply email came in today, days after the original arrival date, so at this point, you will be charged. I was completely shocked as nothing indicated this was the case in the first communication that was sent. The reservation indicated they left me a voicemail and I just double checked I have no voicemails from Silverado. update they have since refunded so updating

I will always have a special place in my heart for the Silverado. I have held many golf tournaments here and they've all been first class. However, I took my husband here for an anniversary celebration that included a 9:00 a.m. massage (at Silverado). I sent a note with my reservation and called days before and requested an early check-in, since we were going to be on site early. I was told that I would have to wait and see and if my room was available, before I could check in. When I got to the front counter, I was told that my room was indeed ready and for another $100, I could have the early check-in. Come on Silverado!!! The room was ready and would be sitting (empty) until my 4:00 check-in. Why do you have to bilk people out of more money? So disappointing and tasteless.

This resort is really huge! It's nice but definitely spread out like a huge compound. We found out most of the units are privately owned they are little condos and people can rent them straight through the property or they can use air b and b which is good to know for future reference if we ever decide to stay here. Honestly for what they offer and the price I doubt it's really worth it. Rooms are super small unless you book a suite. But overall the rooms are really nice and updated. They need central a/c especially to be in Napa you would think so but nope wall units. We were a little disappointed and next time we will more then likely stay in a hotel in downtown on first street. It sucked too that they were setting up for the jazz festival so we had to park a lot further than where our room was. Only the suites get a parking spot in the stalls. So that was very inconvenient and none of the staff told us. So there was a-lot of construction sounds and loud banging which made it hard to just sleep in and relax. I did like that they have a shuttle serve via golf cart at your convenience when you want to get around the resort grounds but honestly that's the best part of this place. Hotel food was meh and pricey. Staff was very friendly which was great but honestly for the price we will pass next time.

Hubby booked us a stay for my birthday weekend. The staff was friendly when we checked in and took our bags to our room. The rooms are not in the mansion (main house), they're off to the side and look more like apartments, which was unexpected. The room was spacious with lots of room and the Shower and restroom were a nice size. We also had a private patio but didn't get to use it because it was raining that weekend. There was a welcome bottle of red wine which was nice. There is a coffee shop on the grounds with a small market that sells bottles of wines and pre-made items. I think they could do well if they sold glasses of wine, because I would buy - I don't need a whole bottle. There was a fire pit outside which we enjoyed. There was also an outdoor pizza oven. Hubby and I had a dinner rezy that day we arrived so we said we'd try the pizza the next day. THE SPA: The next day we had a reservation at the spa for a couple's massage which is across the street but a bit far. They have a golf cart that can take you there or you can drive yourself in your personal vehicle. Their booking online was NOT clear in that a spa service (massages, facials, etc.) comes with an access pass to the spa too - so access to the hot tubs, pool, lounge-y room w/snacks. Soo because it wasn't clear on their website, there was an option to add-on the spa pass, so hubby bought the couples massage + 2 spa passes. Their website needs an update and shouldn't ask folks to add the spa passes if they've already selected a service, so technically we now had 4 passes to the spa. It was a nightmare trying to get that money back for the 2 spa passes purchased. The gal working the changing room was nice and provided me slippers and a robe and guided me where to change. However the experience was not the same for my hubby and was left to figure it out for himself while the guy just sat and pointed. They put you in a waiting room till you're called up but there was too many of us the # of chairs they had. Hubby enjoyed his massage but mines wasn't great. I told the lady where I wanted her to focus, but she didn't. The massage was physically painful. And then at the end when hubby paid, there's an automatic 25% gratuity for each masseuse. I was shocked. The cool cucumber towels in the restroom were refreshing. The shower was good w/full sized bottles. There was seating outside near the pool which looked nice but it was raining, and it wasn't covered so all the outdoor furniture and cushions were soaked. By now it's sprinkling and we decided to sit in the hot tub, yes, even though it was sprinkling. There was only 2 other women in it, and the pool was empty. We did the hot tub which was nice, then the pool, then back to the hot tub. There was no where inside where we could hang out together to get away from the rain. The only spot was that little waiting area where we were earlier to be called for the massage, and it's not even a hang-out area, it's a waiting area. The women's side of the spa did have an indoor area w/ a covered hot tub and a lounge-y area, but it's not like hubby could join me and I couldn't join him on his side. The point was to spend time together. I understand they can't control the weather but they can prepare for it and maybe have put umbrellas over the furniture or a tent. Overall, the spa experience was pricey when we couldn't enjoy all of the amenities and the massage wasn't great for me. After the spa, we decided to grab lunch at the pizza oven we saw the day before, but due to the rain, it wasn't operating. So no pizza for us :( The main house was nice but again, due to the rain all the outdoor furniture was soaked so we couldn't sit out there. Hubby also purchased breakfast credits for 2 days but honestly, these were not worth it. It's only worth it if someone gifts it to you. We thought the breakfast would be a buffet but it was a restaurant and the breakfast options were limited and not great, and therefore were forced to use the credits with them, and we had to ensure we used all of it otherwise we'd lose money if we under spent. Our server wasn't friendly and service wasn't good and his tip reflected that. The next morning we dined again b/c of the credits, and he ignored us. It was also so frustrating on our last morning because by the time hubby and I were done and got the bill, it was after 11AM. We checked out and left. A few days later hubby got a strange credit card notification that looked off and realized they charged us full price for the last breakfast and did NOT apply our credits we had purchased. Hubby called them multiple times to fix this and turns out b/c we finished breakfast after 11am, (maybe 11:13AM?) their system recognized us as "checked-out" already, and therefore were no longer considered guests according to their system. Thus, we were charged full price. It was also at this time that hubby saw they charged us for the 2 extra spa guest passes and disputed those.

My first experience with the Silverado Resort was many years ago while I was attending a business conference. It was a memorable trip and, as a result, I have returned numerous times ... these days, at least once or twice a year. My lady and I are both golfers and wine lovers, so this place is perfect for us. The beautiful property is expansive, and the two championship golf courses are both gorgeous and challenging (note you must stay at the resort to book tee times). As you would expect, the courses includes a fantastic pro shop. Besides golf, the resort offers tennis, swimming, bike rentals and a spa. The Silverado Market and Bakery offers a wide range of food items and alcohol to take back to your room (or to eat outside). Try one of the pizzas cooked in their outdoor oven. The Bar and Grill offers a wide variety of tasty dining choices. Also try the bar in the Mansion. Great bourbon choices with a spectacular view of the 18th green on the south course. Wide range of room choices and amenities. While many of the rooms are dated, they are very functional. If you can, book one of the condos on the course. More up to date, with full kitchen and lovely views.

My friend and I stayed for her birthday and while the property and our room were beautiful the service and organization of my booking was sub par. They changed my reservation the day before I was set to arrive and when I called they continuously told me there was nothing they could do, my reservation was cancelled, and to contact billing. We arrived anyways, showed them our reservation and were accommodated. Throughout our trip we encountered issues and confusion with the staff. They said pickleball was included, but charged us for ball/paddle rentals. They offered breakfast vouchers when I booked online but when it came time to redeem them nobody knew what I was talking about. When we checked out they had multiple charges on my receipt that I didn't recognize; it took three printed receipts to get to the correct total. Again, the property was gorgeous and we enjoyed our stay, but we didn't feel very welcome.

Overpriced, plain vanilla resort. Except for The Grill restaurant which was very good, the place is non-descript rooms and suites (think Home Goods), and so so service - people seemed disinterested in their job and were not at all customer service oriented. It is an expensive place to stay, and not anything close to a luxury resort.

We had a very pleasant stay at Silverado Resort and Spa. It is an absolutely beautiful location. The clientele seems to be a bit older and really really into golf, which is not our usual crowd but it was a nice experience overall. From the moment we arrived, their staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. We had a nice gentleman drive a golf buggy in front of us to our parking spot and he then took us and our luggage all the way to our room. The driving us around seemed a bit overkill at first, but we soon realized it was not given how huge this property is. We were given a small tour, an explanation of the amenities and were asked if we would want a log for the fireplace in the room (yes!) which was brought to us 15ish minutes later. I had emailed the concierge with a question before our stay and received a reply in a few hours. All this to say they have awesome customer service. Our room was a junior suite and very clean and orderly. The bed was comfortable and we got a good night's sleep in. We also tried out the pool and jacuzzi area. The heated pool was not heated enough for us (granted it was evening and April) so we immediately went into the jacuzzi which was just right. We were also lucky to try out their spa. Even though we did not have a reservation beforehand, my partner and I were able to book separate massage appointments at the same time (instead of a couple's). Service again was of the highest care. My masseuse was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Pretty sure I fell asleep at one point, that's how relaxing it was. Similar to the rooms, the spa amenities seem a tad outdated, but all was very clean. They had a shared space with a lap pool and jacuzzi. The individual spaces for men and women included a resting area (with coconut water, cucumber water and tea), restrooms, a locker room, showers, a steam room, a jacuzzi with sun/lounge chairs and a sauna. The quick drier thingies (to help dry your wet stuff) are in the restroom area and took me a while to find. The showers have soap, shampoo and conditioner available. The locker has a robe and slippers in it for you and you can easily close and open it with a code. The locker room also had a vanity with body lotion, cotton balls, hair products and a hair dryer. Towels were restocked very often as well as clean cups for the water. So why not 5 stars? - Needs updating. The rooms felt outdated for a resort, especially in terms of appliances and heating system. The heating blasted so insanely in the bathroom you almost wanted to shed off all your clothes to make it bearable to go to the bathroom. The spa also could use some innovation. - Real lack of vegetarian food offerings in the restaurant and room service offerings. The only option was the wood fired pizza but that one closed somewhat early for us as we had a later lunch that day.

Stayed here on a business trip a few weeks ago and we were impressed. The check in process is so easy- plenty of people to help and then they provide a golf cart shuttle to get to the front door of your room. Everyone was so nice during this process. It's a beautiful resort with two pristine golf courses, tennis courts, pickleball courts, workout gym, and swimming pools. The restaurant on premise called the Grille is really great as well with great wine selections and great food and service. Finally, its location is ideal being minutes away from unbelievable Vineyard and wineries! Highly recommended!

Spent 2 wonderful nights here. The staff was great and big SHOUTOUT TO SPENCER AT THE CONCIERGE DESK for giving a great recommendation for a wine tasting experience. The hotel was clean and a very nice size. Overall great value for our stay.

The beginning with the front desk manager was not a great experience. She was quite punitive and totally unprofessional. Yet everyone else was kind and professional. The food in the grill is excellent as was the service. The place is gorgeous. And the accommodations are pure luxury.

Terrible stay Rooms are not well kept Walls were extremely thin and could hear all the movement outside so we didn't get much sleep The hotel staff were by far the rudest staff that we have ever encountered. The service was not great. There was a weird smell all throughout the property Overall just a very weird vibe at this hotel. It really shouldn't be called a hotel - more like poorly serviced apartments Would not recommend this place to stay. There are better hotels in the region

Update: 5/13/25 Unfortunately had to stay here again because a friend booked it for me for mother's Day. Have stayed here numerous times in the last 10 years. So gave it a try a year later and guess what, disappointingly, the blower and lawnmower went of at 830am,-10am then again at noon and 230pm. Although it states housekeeping will only come if called , they still knock on your door in the morning. Today upon check out at 830!!!! Holy crap balls batman can anyone at this do called 'resort' get any rest? I called and complained and was only offered to move me in a quiet room. Why pray you, wouldn't you have done that in the first place. Horse on me for not remembering and telling them I wanted the quietest room. Place has so much potential but sadly is a joke of a resort. And P.S stop with the blanket statements of.trying to improve. You haven't in the last 5 years!!!! Not everyone plays golf at the crack of dawn FFS Last year 2024 Been here many times in the last 10 years and I have to say that this place continues to go down hill. I gave them a pass last year as I first noticed the decline and blamed covid. After this last most recent stay I will not be coming back. Positives- front desk check in staff very good and courteous Grounds are pretty Cons- dated one bedroom with kitchen. So old mold was growing on bathroom ceiling, windows wouldn't lock/close. Leaf blowing for three hours straight starting at 8am one morning! Lawn mover starting at 8am the second morning. All right behind my courtyard. This has happened now twice , two years consecutively. Gardiner blowed while my back door screen was open, smelled gas in the room. On site restaurant- waited two hours for two drinks and food. Simple dinner ordered and they were NOT busy. I guess everyone working is on the golf course and also washing the golf carts and taking the trash out in front of you while.you eat dinner on the patio. Seriously, 45 minutes for the first drink order and we were parched to say the least. Spent the day at the spa, had an 80 minutes massage, not 90 like most places and paid 260 not including the tip they include. I'm going to say that they can push their service level up a notch for what we pay and allow those staying at the mansion to go to the pool the next day if they received a service there. Mind you for all that you paid thus far at spa and resort, you must pay an additional $40 just for the pool the next day. At 350-$400/ night it's truly not worth it. I came here to be pampered and for the tranquility/Quiet- not to be given basic service in a sub standard room and the spa low level service. The pandemic is over , and continuing to use that excuse is getting old.

This past Sunday, on Mother's Day, my daughter's treated myself and my sister to a wonderful day out in Napa. The second stop on our adventure was this resort that I totally fell in love with. The grounds were immaculate and the staff was pleasant and friendly, wonderful customer service and it seem like the best place to book my birthday overnight with my husband which I did the following day. On Sunday, we had drinks and appetizers at the grill bar where we sat on the patio. There was a lavish seating with fire pits and table seats as well. They had a nice menu of various Burgers to light appetizers and some seafood options. We chose chip and dip which came with House made fresh fried chips with an onion dip and wings, and we all had a cocktail. The server was so pleasant. I believe his name was Josh. Fiive stars for being just down to earth complimentary, patient, and an overall joy to have spent time with. My phone died while I was there so I didn't get pictures of everything but I got a few pictures of the grounds.

I've eaten here at least 2x a year for decades. The worst meal there ever and probably the worst restaurant experience in years and we eat out often 2-3/wk. The bartender poured perhaps 1 oz drinks at $16 each - she was quite preoccupied conveying how she was glad none of the "boys" were there tonight and going over the new beers and wines she was going to pour for the waitress later. Our meals (7 of us) were either distributed at different times, included cheese when specifically noting lactose intolerant, served raw or cold - waitress never returned to check on meal. It took over 1/2 hr after meal to just bring out cake that was brought in for dessert Our hosts eat there weekly and it was their embarrassment I believe feedback is important especially considering the price. Do yourself a favor and check it on internet! Rolls (4) ordered did not include enough for our table and another wait for the $7 rolls was needed! To top it off - when I mentioned to front desk the disappointment, another wait person, bartender and hostess were just jawing - and indicated that with the "staff shortage" nothing else could be done! Be certain I know what can be done - get a manager to oversee this mess but I won't know as I won't be back.

There were BEDBUGS. Second room was dusty. Bathroom in common area didn't flush.....Sad.

Unfortunately, I'm writing this review to one of our favorite spots in Napa. We have been guests at Silverado to many times to count...12+. We stayed this past weekend for two nights. I booked a room through the internet several weeks prior to our arrival. I also called personally to request the type of room and location. We have always stayed near the pool and marketplace so we could walk to pool and coffee in morning. When we arrived, I was told I had made no request and they had a room off Cottage Drive (786) which you must drive to, this was not acceptable. I talked to two people, and all they could say was NO, we are totally booked and to basically take the room, or not but we are going to charge you since its past the reservation date. They said they would try to put us into our original room the following day. After coffee at Marketplace, we went to main building to ask about our room, and again all they said was NO. Extremely bad customer service and no effort to help. While checking out, I was walking to my car, and I noticed my back window was shattered by a golf ball. Security filled and report and I talked to the security director. Nice guy, but once again no help with the repair. I understand there liability, but they could have offered a free bunch, or bottle of wine or something to offset this costly accident for a long-time customer. We all have options, unfortunately Silverado will not be my go-to-option when we travel to Sonoma/Napa again. Matt

Nickled and dimed at the Silverado! It's not an inexpensive place. But when my wife asks at check in where to swim laps, they point us across the street. There's nobody at the front desk there, so we go into the pool and she starts laps. Along comes the staff, with a Silverado badge, and says it's $40 to swim, and $40 for me to just sit in a chair and watch. "It's not really Silverado". I guess it's just across the street with the same name and logo? Oh yes, it's OK to charge it to my Silverado account... And I thought it was classy. Perhaps there's a bag charge I didn't see yet.

I did a mini-vacation here to attend the 2023 Napa Blue Note Jazz Festival. Although the logistics of the festival was less than stellar, which was Not the responsibility of the resort, the lodging, and associated accommodation were wonderful. I used an electric scooter due to an accidental broken foot and had no problem navigating the the property or the room. Had planned spa packages to book end my trip but had to cancel because of injury. Important note - The injury did not occur on the property, but two months prior. Thought it would be healed but not completely by the time of the trip. Special thanks to the check in team, housekeeping, room service and the market staff. They where all very pleasant. Post Covid great customer service with good attitudes are rare. However, all the resort staff was exemplary with the exception of one hiccup when I canceled my Monday afternoon spa service on Sunday Morning and I even mentioned the excess foot swelling from the concert, but they failed to complete the cancellation task as I was contacted on Monday for the service. There was no problem in terms of no show fees but based on all my other experiences I didn't expect this hiccup and didn't appreciate their lack of follow through resulting in a call. I couldn't figure out how to give a 4.5 Star rating so I left it at 5 stars. The issue was worse on them than to me. The technician missed the opportunity to rebook or anticipate a rest break. I will definitely book another stay and include spa services once my foot heals.

We rented an Airbnb here for our anniversary. It was nicely renovated. The place is very peaceful. The pizza from the market is a must have, it's made in the outdoor wood fire oven! Just Delish!

We enjoyed staying here over the weekend. Unfortunately missed the live music that they have on Friday nights, we stayed Saturday Sunday. Beautiful grounds, very serene and relaxing. We stayed at one bedroom suite and it was very nice and updated. Food at this resort is ok. We had a burger in the evening on the open patio at the mansion and breakfast in the morning at the Grill restaurant. Both times food was not very delicious but okay. They have a great spa at this resort, but prices at this spa just went wild. We decided not to spend money on it, too expensive. $300 for a 50 minute massage is just ridiculous.

I have had a place up here since the 80's and love coming up here. The resort does a good job maintaining everything and they have improved the experience by adding shops, upping the spa, and the condos. Yeah it's sort of old school vibe but sometimes retro is okay.

We spent two nights and three days here to celebrate my Wife's Birthday. We ate at the Grill and picked up dinner at Giovanni. Everything was great. We stayed in one of the homes on the course and it was clean and comfortable. We had planned to hit golf balls at the Driving Range, but because of the amount of rain we had gotten, it was closed. Silverado has improved.

We really enjoyed our stay here in the Airbnb condo. Very comfortable. The air B&Bs do come with shampoo conditioner and body wash lots of towels , a few nice Duraflame logs. The bedroom is extremely spacious. However, The bathroom is very small, ( One of those types that you have to walk in close the door and then take your clothes off, door hits the toilet...) The kitchen is very spacious and so is the living space very nice patio we had a unit that overlooks part of the golf course very quiet very relaxing and beautiful. The property is an older property, our heater went on and was unbearable to listen to at night. So we just turned it off... very clean and easy to walk to the golf course, market and the Grill. " we actually had dinner and breakfast at the Grill. We had some beautiful sunny days and decided to power walk the 5 miles around the courses... super pretty property. We can't wait to come back.

Truthfully I have visited the golf course here at Silverado Resort more than 10 times as a volunteer for the PGA tournaments. This will be my third time playing the golf course thanks to an invite from a friend. I arrived about an hour before my 1:20 pm tee time and noticed that they had installed Tesla destination chargers in the parking lot. That is a thumbs up from me as a Tesla owner. However my car had more than enough charge to drive me all the way home so I passed on the chargers. Dropping off my golf clubs was easy and the crew was professional and took care of me perfectly. I met the rest of my foursome and we teed off from the white tees of the North course. The course as I remember it is very challenging especially on the greens. I was able to use that knowledge and played a reasonable round of golf. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and cannot wait to come back again. My host who is a member of the golf club, paid for the round. Thanks very much for the round and I enjoyed it tremendously. Looking forward to another opportunity to play together.
