It's a nice lesbian bar with a bit of queer people and gay men's presence. I went as a solo but met with a lesbian group. Different age groups can be found, and it’s very easy to get into the crowd. All bartenders can speak English and made me feel welcome, although a tip may cheer them up. It can be really loud sometimes, though. Also, the prices are OK, I guess. I would go again with a lesbian or a queer friend.

Gloria's 'la pain de mie' music quiz is an absolute highlight. It's fun, interactive, and you can go on your own and find a team or come with friends. Staff are great at their job - there's an extensive cocktail menu that is definitely worth trying!

Cool queer bar, second time being there and this time was very busy (oddly there was more man than women), we got lucky to get seats. Service was fast by the amount of people. Prices for drinks are very ok.

Nice vibe bar, cute decor and lots of Audrey Hepburn love. I was really happy with the bartender for making a specific drink for me they didn't have on menu. That's great service! Longdrinks are around 7€, so not badly priced. They have a smoking area in the back, but get there early cause it's pretty small and it gets packed. My biggest complaint though is the amount of homeless people that came in begging for cash from every patron. We were only there for maybe 2 hours and 4 came in. They seem to do well with lots of customers so maybe look into someone to watch the door?

I thought I was going to genuinely love this place, because it seemed like the perfect intimate queer bar we had been looking for with my friends, but then the service was so bad it left a bad taste in my mouth. We got to this bar and it was kind of full so we went to the first table we saw that had enough seats. Then a bartender came over and in an angry tone said that we shouldn't have sat there yet because they weren't done clearing it from previous costumers. Then they added rudely that "if you are going to order anything, you have to come to the bar" like as if we were expecting table service and were idiots. We said ofcourse and thank you and when we ordered, the same level of service continued with the other bartender, who laughed with their coworkers and other costumers, but with us, seemed like we had offended them, and when I gave a 3€ tip, they said "thank you" but only with a forced tone and no smile. This experience made us feel so unwelcome. There were also 3 people in our short time there that came and begged for money from us, and wouldn't leave us alone easily. The interior is amazing, and the vibe is good with the other costumers, but the staff must hate tourists A LOT based on our experience.

Lovely place. The espresso I had was one of the best I had in my life which was a huge surprise.

Yelp
So we got recommended this place by a blog post. It seemed nice, chill at first UNTIL we ordered our drink and were first, underpoured, and then, to top that off he threw our change into the tip jar. Are you serious?? I'm drinking a coke with a splash of rum and I over paid. Maybe this is a tourist tax. Either way, AVOID.

Yelp
This place is not easy. It is absolutely packed at the weekend and there is no room to swing a cat (above the dogs heads) I got confused at the notice above the bar which read in multiple languages 'self service', so as I proceeded to help myself to a beer from the handily accessible fridge, I was quickly rebuked from the barman. He didn't seem to think the notice was ambiguous. Actually this is a place of notices and behaviour policing. Written on the front door is a warning,' no racism,no sexism, no homophobia, no anti-Semitism, no Nazis'. Laudable indeed, but what should be added is 'no humour'. Be careful what you wear, it could be misconstrued in the myriad of forbiddens. Anything that fits in the list of no-no's will be ejected! Having said that the clientele are an affable bunch and it's worth a visit.

Yelp
A few friends took me to this place after dinner. I thought it was a nice cozy place. It's got smoking and non-smoking rooms which I appreciate. They sell super cheap beer. The staff seemed quite friendly and the clientèle was quite interesting :-) The only thing that threw me off was the very commercial music playing. As this is a very alternative place, I expected the music to also be alternative. I will definitely go back again! This review was written in 2010.

Yelp
Funny looking place with hip people sucking cheap beer and sparkling wine. I liked it. And there is this kind of random snack bag from which customers can choose whatever snacks they feel like eating - for cheap price.

Yelp
It's a pretty cool bar with a funky interior and a relaxed atmosphere.

Yelp
This used to be the best queer bar in town something like 4-5 years ago. But then it got reviewed in many places, and it got so much full of tourists that nowadays its impossible to get in on the weekends. It lost the vibe, and the prices pretty much adapted to the hip. It used to be cheap, not its not. Expect to pay 2.8 / 3.3 for a beer while 1-2 years ago you would have pay the half. In sum, good for tourists, but not for the ones living in town.

Yelp
Great bar, extremely friendly bartenders. It wasn't very full when we first got there around 22 or so, but by 23 it was packed. Overall, there was a great atmosphere and fun music that really fit the place. Drinks weren't too expensive either.
