The SilverKris Lounge at T3 is a comforting place to start a journey. The moment you step in, everything feels calm and well-organised a nice contrast from the busy terminal outside. The lounge is spacious with plenty of seating, so you don’t feel cramped even when it’s busy. I like how there are different areas depending on whether you just want to relax, eat properly, or quietly get some work done. Food selection is consistently good, but the highlight for me is the laksa. Rich, fragrant, and comforting honestly something I look forward to every time. Along with the hot dishes, light bites, desserts, and drinks, it really sets the tone for the flight ahead. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared, not just standard lounge food. Staff are attentive and professional, always quick to clear plates and check in. Overall, the lounge feels comfortable, efficient, and quietly premium exactly what you expect from Singapore Airlines. The Singapore Airlines Lounge in Terminal 3 at Changi Airport offers a good overall experience, especially when it comes to food. The quality of the dishes was very good and the variety was impressive, with a nice selection of Asian and international options. However, the lounge was extremely crowded during my visit, which significantly affected the experience. Finding a comfortable place to sit was not always easy, and the atmosphere felt quite busy rather than relaxing. The biggest issue was the shower facilities. There was a very long waiting list, and I was told the waiting time would be about 1.5 hours, which is not practical for most travelers during a layover. With such a busy lounge, the shower capacity seems insufficient. Overall, the food and catering are excellent, but the lounge would benefit from better crowd management and more shower facilities to match the number of guests.

It's mostly quiet, spacious, and had a large variety of food offerings available. And in writing this at 7am, so it was open early on a Thursday. Skip the scrambled eggs and the packaged tomato juice, but there are hard boiled eggs, hash browns, good selection of coffee, and friendly staff. One of the nicer lounges we've visited. Great views of the tarmac also.

IF you're visiting the T3 SilverKris Lounge, do yourself a favor and walk past the main buffet to the Live Noodle Bar. The chefs prepare fresh, steaming bowls of local favorites—the fishball noodles were excellent. the TWG tea selection is massive. They have all the signature tins, and it’s self-service, so you can try multiple blend.

Was pleasantly surprised to see a lot of options for vegetarians.. the spread of food was massive and well stocked… i also absolutely loved the TWG availability there.. that brand is one of the most luxurious tea brands, i was so glad.. the service was good, there was a wonderful decoration of lot of balloons for the new years, there was good amount if seating… they had showers as well.. overall i was really happy with this lounge

SilverKris Lounge in Terminal 3 is honestly my favorite among all the lounges in T1, T2, and T3. The lounge is extremely spacious, the food selection is excellent, and the staff are attentive. Everything is clean and well-maintained. For Business Class passengers, this lounge is especially convenient. The seating areas are wide and comfortable, the food variety easily meets premium-class expectations, and the overall atmosphere feels relaxing, even compared with other terminals. In the evenings until late at night, the lounge can get quite crowded and seats may be hard to find. But this time, I visited in the morning before my afternoon flight, and around 11 AM the lounge was calm, quiet, and not busy at all. The shower rooms are clean as well. As mentioned, during nighttime flights you may need to reserve a shower slot, but during daytime flights you can usually walk in and find an available room right away. Very convenient and perfectly suited for Business Class travelers who want a smooth, stress-free experience before their flight.

I enjoy the lounges of SQ. 4 stars only because I like the T2 lounge better. More peaceful and seems like (seems like) food selection is better. But T3 lounge is awesome. Kind staff, good food, deserts, cold and hot beverages and it has a laksa bar.

The SilverKris Lounge is the Business Class lounge for Singapore Airlines, located on the second floor of Changi T3. So that's what a $8,000 to $10,000 airplane ticket entitles you to. There's even a separate lounge (Gold) for first class passengers which is totally insane. As far as lounges, its definitely one of my favorites with some additional perks: 1. Spacious shower rooms and restrooms that at cleaned very frequently. They have a janitor basically waiting for you. 2. Two buffet lines. The main one has dim sum, Indian cuisine, Malaysian/Singapore dishes, sushi, and Laksa made to order. Plenty of booze too. The second line is closer to the bar and has more finger foods. The food is decent here and it makes it hard to try one of the many airport restaurants since you'll likely get really full here. 3. A fully staffed bar and nice cocktail menu - I recommend any of the variants on the Singapore Sling. 4. Fast and free wifi, separate from the airport. Tons of seating and charging outlets everywhere. 5. Lots of comfortable seating, with a variety of chairs.

Stopped by the Silverkris lounge the other day and it was a world class experience. The lounge was right after immigration and was split into Business vs First class. The lounge featured plenty of seating area and was pretty quiet. The buffet featured both hot and cold items, vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian. The drink section was completely self-service with both caffeinated as well as alcoholic options. There was a noodle bar that served fish ball noodles. The washrooms also had shower rooms. Amenities inside the washroom was great. Food quality was decent, although I've had better har gows

We flew business to Los Angeles on Singapore Airlines and it was probably the best airport/flight experience of my life. The SilverKris Lounge was, like the rest of Changi, exceedingly nice. I might have appreciated it more at another airport, where the dining and entertainment options weren't endless. It almost felt like a waste of time to hang out at the lounge, though it was also quite lovely and relaxing. I ate a whole chili crab at Jumbo Seafood and had a full meal waiting for me on the plane (the food on Singapore Airlines is incredible), so I skipped the lounge buffet. It looked tremendous, though, with laksa and dim sum among the many offerings. I would've been all over it if it were at LAX. The space was huge and pretty, and we had no problem finding a quiet table for two, where we sat down and took a brief rest before heading to our gate. The SilverKris Lounge isn't a tourist attraction like so much else in Changi, but it's a great place to sit and do your crossword, and maybe grab some food and drink.

Really nice, and really huge lounge. Lots of seating - group tables, smaller tables, individual booths. Lots of both western and eastern foods. There is a chef's station where they will make a bowl of noodles for you. There is sushi (though only vegetarian), there is a wine dispensing machine.

AMBIANCE 3.5/5 Located 1floor above the departure hall transit area in Changi airport Terminal 2. Can get quite crowded during peak periods. FOOD 4/5 Enjoyable food. Lovely TWG tea. Only thing missing is the famous Singapore Airlines carrot cake. SERVICE 4/5 Staff constantly making their rounds to clear the tables after passengers leave or when they're done with their meals/drinks.

The SilverKris Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport is fantastic and a great place to relax before your flight. The food is excellent, variety of options like local Singaporean food such as laksa and chicken rice, along with international dishes like salads, pasta, and desserts. There's even a live cooking station, barista-made coffee in the morning, and a cocktail bar in the evening. The seating is very comfortable, with cozy sofas and chairs perfect for relaxing or working, and the overall design feels calm and welcoming. The lounge also offers private workspaces with fast Wi-Fi, plenty of charging outlets, clean showers stocked with essentials, and even a nap area for longer layovers. This lounge is on Terminal 3 where the Singapore Airline is about 10 minute walk to all the Singapore Airline gates. It definitely made my departure peaceful and smooth.

So you are traveling again. Whether planned, by accident, or due to your good fortune, you ended up at Changi Airport, in Singapore. If that is the case, you have damn good Karma. Traveling SQ is not complete without a visit to the SilverKris Lounge, in Singapore. So think about it, this place better be good. It is the resting place for the best airline in the world at the best airport city in the world. Can they deliver? At the onset, it is a tough job. The seating areas are constantly monitored to clear up left residue from rapidly moving traffic. Lounge personnel do an exceptional job in this department. Never saw dirty, uncleaned tables. Service is spectacular. How about the food. Also high class. Everything kept fresh, moving and vibrant. Scrambled eggs were moist. Numerous Asian options, dim sum, laksa, Indian delicacies, breads, noodles, soups, etc. Now this is in Terminal 2. I am told Terminal 3 has another show too. Stay tuned.

Landing in early at 6 AM with the next flight slated for 7:55 PM we walked around T3 at Changi airport before heading to the SilverKris lounge. We were greeted with a warm and cheerful smile and were shown the way to the lounge. The snoozer location along with the shower facility makes this lounge and elite facility at the airport. Lots of food options to choose from along with a large amount of seating to set yourself up and enjoy the food and drinks that they have to offer. Have a post meal siesta , maybe take a shower and head out to your next flight. Just the perfect resting place before you hop on to that next leg of your flight, all rejuvenated and refreshed. Give them a try!!

Neat lounge located at the T3. There are many sitting areas available inside, so it wasn't difficult to find seats for 4 of us. The food options are great! Loved the dumpling and soup options. The restroom and the shower was very clean. All the friendly staff are working very hard to keep the place neat and clean, and have the foods ready.

We recently came because we had a business flight from Singapore. We walked in and welcomed immediately from their staff. Entered and was shocked to only see coffee at the first stand. Confused because I'm used to seeing food at lounges, but just thought this one was different. Little did I know, there was another side to this place. It was huge! Finally seeing their food, I must say--this lounge might have the best food around right now. I've been to a good number of lounges and their food has to be my favorite. On a Thursday morning they had laksa, dimsum, crunchy hash browns, and so much more! I was impressed. Plenty of drink selections to choose from--alcohol and nonalcoholic. Plenty of seats to go around, and their bathrooms give you that private feeling. Mister took a shower, and was so impressed with it! Can't wait to go back.

On a recent vacation I had the opportunity to visit this lounge on 2 separate occasions. Both visits exceeded my expectations. There is plenty of seating areas that can accommodate your needs. My favorite areas were the seats with a view of the planes. The food selection was also very nice. There were grab and go options along with a buffet. The most cherished moment of the visit were the showers. After a long flight with several hours before my final destination it was very comforting to be able to freshen up during my layover. I will gladly visit the lounge again.

One of the best airline lounges I have experienced. Spacious with lots of seating. Quiet areas, showers, clean washrooms and plenty of delicious food choices. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Always enjoy my visits here.

A really outstanding lounge amongst lounges or it's type. LARGE. Many inviting places to choose to sit. Different types of seating. LOTS of natural light. A huge plus. Open, high ceilings and overlooking the lower level of the airport so a feeling of expansiveness. No crowding. A plus during COVID. Clean. Clean. Clean. Well, it is Singapore. But it all adds to the ambience. Regular unobstructive service in clearing dishes, tidying, cleaning. FOOD: best I've seen in airport lounges. Many stations. Many options. From Chinese, to Indian, to International, all - there is something and more for everyone. There is such a large range in quality in airport lounges. This one is by far, one of the best I have visited so far.

This lounge has it all - friendly staff and welcoming presence; a wealth of space both lounge enclosed and more open airport area; an insane amount of options for food; a wide variety of comfortable seating choices; and excellent and accessible wi-fi. I could go on about the food options the most. I mean they had everything from chicken nuggets and fries to Asian dishes I had never heard of that were absolutely delicious. There is also a made to order station that had some noodle options that looked delicious, though I admittedly did not have enough space in my body to try them. There are tons of drink options as well - in some places self-serve and others with a bartender and a cocktail menu. Why not 5 stars then? It was so hot in the lounge our entire time there, and apparently, their air conditioning was not broken. Fix that and this is a 10 out of 5 stars.

Excellent lounge located in T3 available for passengers flying in business/first class We arrived around 0830 and were able to enjoy the breakfast and lunch before our flight back home to JFK Breakfast options were huge. I loved that they had shumai and ha gao. They even had made to order western style breakfast and curry laksa. I loved the shape of the hash browns as well. There are many tea options from TWG. There is also a barista until 10am Showers were great as well. The only thing I wished is that they gave slippers for the shower room Next time I am back in SIN, I would definitely come back to this lounge

Overall, this was a solid lounge. It is quite expansive but offers multiple buffets and bars. There were a range of seating options available as well. I'm an ideal world, the lounge would be separated entirely from the rest of the airport due to noise from gates on the level below, but this could be remedied by sitting in one of the more interior rooms.

My favorite lounge at Changi Airport. Was granted access by flying business class with Singapore Airlines. I've visited this lounge several times. Even after lounge hopping, I still favor this one. Lots of space even if crowded you can find room. Multiple different seating options: dining chairs, couches, cubicles, etc... lots of food and drink options. The dim sum is very good, generally they have about 5 different kinds. Lots of staff to clear tables. Never had to wait to reserve a shower. All staffs are friendly.

I am actually using the business class lounge, not the regular lounge. The food is good, service is good, and a relaxing ambiance/environment. The food and drinks are laid out to be efficient, everything is grouped together which is great, you don't have to find a condiment stand to get what you need for your food.

Greeted by wonderful hostesses and directed to lounge. Huge lounge. Very quiet in here. Bar is open for self serve, but don't get carried away. A gentleman tipped over some glasses and it shattered behind the bar. They cover their food here with lids to keep it warm and moist. I appreciate that because a lot of people were coughing. Asked the concierge to borrow an adapter for my charger. So if you need that, be prepared to give them your boarding pass and they will loan an adapter to you. Chill lounge music playing and dim lighting, makes me want to sleep but I need to save that for the long flight home. I'd rather sleep on the plane through the turbulence than wake up scared out of my mind! Around evening, they brought out some freshly made croissant sandwiches. I chose the Vegetarian and it was pretty good. I also grabbed some desserts, of course and a Decaf Latte which was actually good too. I'm sure they change their daily buffet but the food here is definitely fresh. Desserts are my favorite though! Definitely a good way to relax before a long flight.

This is a very large lounge that crosses over between the business class and the first class traveler. Having been on both sides, as far as I can tell, there is actually very little difference between the two areas except for the fact that the business class section is vastly larger. As this lounge is located in Singapore, obviously Singapore Airlines hub, there are a lot of travelers in this lounge all the time. This lounge can get really crowded. In terms of seating, all of the seats provided are large and comfortable. If you want to look out onto the airport proper you can do that or if you want to sit face-to-face or next to your travel companion you can do that as well. There are a couple of TVs playing various news and/or sports channels so if you want a bit of entertainment you can watch some TV or grab a newspaper or magazine. The one tthing that surprises me about this lounge is that though the food service area is very large, and there are a couple of chefs on hand to make your personally designed individual dishes, the food here is never very good. This is surprising, because the food on the actual Singapore airline flights is pretty good. This is just my observation and another person may disagree. But I am just really surprised that they do not do a better presentation of food and/or drinks. Overall, however, this lounge is way better than sitting out there in the masses. This lounge gives you a little bit of time to relax, eat, drink, and/or converse with your travel partner before you get on that long flight to wherever it is you are going.

Absolutely loved this airport lounge located in Terminal 3 of Changi. My husband and I mutually agreed that this was one of our favorites in the world- difficult to pick between this one, and the Tokyo ANA lounge. It's kind of funny, because my husband and I have been to the regular Singapore Air lounge in the past, yet that one was disappointing. I'm glad that their KrisFlyer is amazing! What makes it so great? *Food selection and quality - even for breakfast, there was a quite a large selection of food. They had an Indian cuisine section, and another Chinese cuisine section (at least when I was there). I ended up getting a tofu tikki masala with rice, SO GOOD!!!! Like, legitimately good, and I would have ordered it at a restaurant in San Francisco where I'm from. Although it would have been nice to have meat in the dish - I'm not complaining though!!! I also tried their rice porridge on the Chinese cuisine side, which was okay. You could also choose from Laksa, dim sum, and 4 other Indian cuisine items. *Seating - lots of sofas, tables for eating, bar stool seating, and even fun booths for larger parties. It was a huge airport lounge, looked like it fit easily 200 people. *Ambiance - overall this was a pretty new (or seemed like it!), with new furniture, modern design, etc. It was really nice. They also have showers too. I wasn't in 1st class, but if you were, there was even a separate seating area for those privileged few. Wow. Gosh...if I ever make it back to this terminal in Changi Singapore, hopefully my husband will still have Gold status with United Airlines to get us in!!!

Available to guests traveling on international business class flights on Star Alliance and not to be confused with the Krisflyer gold lounge, which is available to anyone with Star Alliance gold status (and +1's), the SilverKris lounge is a quiet and comfy place to grab a quick drink and bite to eat before your flight out of Changi airport. They offer a wide variety of cuisines and even had a ramen bar! I snagged an assortment of dim sum and a bowl of chicken congee for breakfast and made myself an americano from their espresso machine. It's a nice lounge, but I expected more from Singapore airlines, especially at the Singapore international airport. To be quite honest, Changi airport is the most beautiful airport in the entire world and you should really not be spending time hanging out at airport lounges when there is a shopping mall, a butterfly garden, and the world's tallest indoor waterfall at your fingertips.

After my Experience at this Lounge...Nothing More I can say. Simply the Best...Singapore Airlines Live to its High Standard. The Host would greet you as soon as you get in. There are 2 Lounge. I went to the left..the Right could be the Ultimate Lounge I guess...Flew on Singapore Business Class from Manila to Singapore ( Their Business Class Lounge is Manila is HUGE too) . On this Leg is my Singapore to Bangkok . Food Selection is Great. Congee etc. Wine and Beer too. Their Rest Rooms are very Clean they even have a Shower should you opt. Im a Star Alliance Member..Good Thing United Airlines partner with the Singapore Airlines...Kudos Silver Kris Lounge

Absolutely huge lounge...and totally packed. I had to circle around several times looking for a spot just to settle into for about 90 minutes. Lots of jackets and backpacks strewed on chairs couches staking claim to every possible open space. I settled for a small table with an uncomfortable plastic chair. Three Aussies next to me drinking it up and speaking/laughing loudly. The more they drank, the louder they became. Should I get up and move? Where else could I go? The adjoining room looked and sounded like a Day Care Centre. No thank you! Why don't parents control their children? A super pet peeve...they seem to be immune to their bad behavior disturbing everyone else in the lounge. I ended up leaving the lounge altogether and found a nice quiet spot outside in the regular boarding gate areas. Peace & sanity alas. Airport Lounges seem to be a fishbowl of annoying families and passengers. It is totally not worth paying the extra $$ for an airline lounge membership.

There's airport lounge. And there's Singapore Airlines SilverKris lounge. Food is always warm, freshly cooked in small batches, properly. Great ambience, not crowded or noisy. Restroom which very clean and has all the toiletries, amenities, even for a bath.

Had an early morning business class flight out of Singapore and I decided to grab some breakfast before boarding my flight. Service is excellent and also the amount of seating available is impressive. Food here tasted alright until I found the laksa station. It's been sometime since I've flown Singapore Airlines so I've completely forgotten about their magical dish. Is it as good as what you can get in the city? Maybe not. Will I drink 3 bowls of this in the lounge? You bet.

T3 lounge: Enormous lounge with plenty of seating. Good food and drink options. 2 live food areas: today's offering included a yummy nasi lemak. Local food selections: congee, dimsum, curry. Fresh fruit. Premium liquor, tea and soft drinks. Showers available. T2: smaller than T3, less food offerings but still tasty and clean. Less seating areas. Showers also available, but fewer than T3. The almond tofu with lychee dessert was refreshing, try it if you're here

One of the best lounge in singapore changi airport. Usually busy but food selection is great! There are usually a few curry items but I always avoid because I don't want to have stomach problem in the flight :) guess my stomach is on the sensitive side. TWG tea selection is not bad. My newest favorite is the silvermoon tea. There's shower but it's a bit awkward. The shower is not enclosed with a toilet and the hairdryer sucks. If you have long hair like me, don't wash your hair there.... it will take forever to dry. In fact, it's a common problem for almost all lounges I have been in the changi airport shower room. There's no good hair dryer??? Why is that??

Singapore Airlines' Silver Kris Lounge is consistently one of the best airline lounges today. I was at the Terminal 2 SK Lounge before my flight to KL and it was a wonderful experience. I was warmly greeted with a smile on arrival and directed to a great space where seating is plentiful and comfortable throughout. The food options are vast and without question some of the best in terms of quality in the industry. The restrooms were clean, showers were available and they also had basic toiletries which are always a plus. The SK lounge is a great way to start any trip on Sing Air and I'm looking forward to my time in the lounge later this week.

Located in T3, and there is one lounge for First Class and one for Business Class. If you are Star Alliance Gold and flying Economy Class, you are not allowed to use - there is another lounge dedicated for that purpose, and the specific lounge is major stepdown from Silver Kris, FYI. Even at the Business Class Lounge, food selection is massive (self service/buffet style - Chinese/Western/Indian/Japanese) and the lounge space is huge. Servers are frequently walking around to replenish food and remove used dishes from lounge area, so the place seems to be well-maintained. There is a huge business center where you can surf Internet through their desktops. Shower facility is inside of bathroom section. One downside is that I am not sure what those customer service agents at the lounge exactly do as they always make me call the reservation line when I need to make simple changes or seek any additional information...???

I normally don't review airport lounges but SilverKris (Singapore Air) at Chang I Airport deserves an honorable mention. It is one of the best business class lounges I have been. It has fresh food stations - noodle and congee (for breakfast), amazing selection of cuisines (all very delicious), showers, and best of all, they have two LG machines that can unwrinkle, wash/dry and purifying your clothes. So if you are in Singapore and flying Singapore Air, definitely stop by the SilverKris lounge to refresh.

Lounge Tour Part 4: SilverKris / Krisflyer Gold CleanMachine So not too much to say other than man are these guys clean as hell. What a nice star alliance spot. At 3am there isn't a person in sight and they have made to order breakfast separately from what's already out and available. Food is better than a Ua lounge... But then again who isn't in Asia? One funky cool aspect is that there is an available clothes steamer /speed washer from LG to clean your clothes within 20 minutes. Tres Cool. The seats are clean business seats with little marble tables between them to put your stuff upon.there is also glass dividers between the rows to separate the noise from each row... Cute. A slightly gaudy AP clock looks down at you while you sit... But hey this is Singapore after all, shopping is the national pastime and brands are it's star players. All in all worth a stop and worth the funds if you have to pay. Note: this lounge is attached to the Krisflyer Gold lounge business has access to both, star alliance only the gold half. The Clothes Refresher is in the gold area.

Maybe I'm spoilt after using the Virgin lounge at Heathrow or Emirates but this lounge is dull and uninspiring. This is Singapore Airlines hub lounge so my expectations were higher. Yes there is a lot of seating (expect to eat of your lap if the high cocktail tables are taken) the food is average and the coffee undrinkable. The showers are large and clean but there's no additional services here like a spa or kids area. Meh

Nice calm atmosphere and plenty of seats for everyone. Heaps of food options. Bathrooms and amenities very good. Very clean. much better than the gold lounge but I'm sure it's nothing compared to the private room. Definitely needs more powerpoints. Also a barista would be welcome.

I really liked Singapore Airlines, until I arrived at Changi and their rude Kris Lounge attendants. Singapore Airlines told me the Singapore Airlines lounge doesn't accept Gold Star Alliance members so go walk around an empty airport at 3am while everything is closed, we know you have had 20 hrs of traveling, but go lie on an airport floor. We don't care. I flew on Singapore all the way from LA via Tokyo - but while waiting for my connection they were happy to refuse me entry to a lounge that ANA at Tokyo Narita gladly accepted gold and other Star Alliance members to while I connected? What's the point of being Star Alliance Gold and flying on Singapore Airlines if they won't allow you access to as little as their transit lounge? Yet another Star Alliance airline that offers nothing to members of their own alliance but only of their own airline.

The foods are meh! Nothing gourmet as some foodies claim. If you want to fill your stomach then it is ok. Foods are edible but the taste is average.

The SilverKris Lounges for Singapore Airlines and Star Alliance Passengers are located in each of the SQ Terminals. Mostly I use the one in Terminal 3 but the Terminal 2 Lounge got a renovation recently so it is decent as well. For SIA First Class Passengers the T3 Lounge als has The Private Room and also a proper drive up check in outside ahead of the terminal with a small seperate immigration counter. There was a time when this lounge wowed me but SIN being a hub airport it got way too busy and at the same time way too many people have access to the lounge. The private room is really the only real sanctuary there is. The Silver Kris Business Class Lounge is accessible to Business Class Passengers booked on Singapore Airlines & Star Alliance as well as SQ PPS Club Members. Star Alliance Gold members traveling in Economy Class have access to the fairly new Gold Lounge. The SilverKris First Class Lounge can be used for First Class Passengers on Singapore Airlines and Star Alliance as well as SQ Solitaire Members. The Private Room section is exclusively reserved for passengers flying First Class on SIA Flights only. It includes a full service restaurant. It is still a nice lounge but just the wow effect is gone. Also recently they scrapped even 100plus from their beverage list. That alone warrants a minus. Cheers -s

Great lounge with lots of food and drink offerings. Very pleased. Much better than United

We got access to this lounge because we were flying Eva Airlines Business class to Taipei. This is a very nice lounge in a quite area of the airport. The lounge itself is very large, when we went it wasn't super busy though there were still a good number of people. The lounge itself is divided into an area for business class passengers and an area for first class passengers. The lounge looks very nice with dark coloring throughout. It doesn't look like a super new lounge but it also doesn't look super dated either. The food selection in the lounge was great. The food looked to be replenished fairly regularly and it all tasted quite good. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't food to order but given the size of the lounge I think the buffet worked fine. There was also a separate area that held the bar. There were a good number of different alcohols and spirits and also things like tea to quench your thirst. One of the big negatives was the speed of the Wifi. If you're reading this review you're probably not in the lounge because I couldn't get anything the load. I also couldn't get a cell signal so it was a bit of a double whammy for me. Probably not the best place to get some work done but for some relaxation before your flight it was quite good.

You know an airline has done well in the lounge department when passengers purposefully flock through customs early, just to catch a break at the Silver Kris Lounge. As the hometown airline's airport lounge, SIA pulled out all the stops to ensure that passengers feel valued, comfortable and are extremely well fed. In Terminal 3 there are an array of lounges that passengers can enjoy depending on their frequent flyer and/or flight class: The Private Room - exclusively for Suites/First Class Passengers The SilverKris Lounge - there are two sections, one for PPS Club members or First Class passengers and one for Business Class/Star Alliance equivalent members. (The former is much quieter with, what I found to be a higher quality of food) The Krisflyer Gold Lounge - Gold members flying Economy Class Generally, I'm in the Silver Kris lounge before heading back to Australia and it's a great excuse for me to load up on local goodies like Soya Bean Milk, Dim Sum and Nasi Lemak. I also more or less always grab some sushi and finish off with a drink and a cheese plate. There are 3 bars, which is imperative around evening time when the lounge starts to fill up and get extremely busy. It doesn't get the full five stars because when it's cramped, you can barely find a seat! Features: International Buffet and various Small Bars Business Centre with Macs and Windows PC Communal Dining Areas Magazines and Books section Telephone Bathroom/Shower If you've got a long flight ahead or were in a rush to get to the airport - this is the perfect place to make a pitstop to grab some food, charge your electronics and catch up on some last minute work before your flight!

Changi International is one of the nicest airports in the world to spend time in so you would expect the airline lounges to also reflect this standard. I don't normally fly with Star Alliance airlines but today am catching a flight to Thailand on Singapore Air and got access to this lounge. It certainly lives up to the Changi standard. Upstairs and away from the hustle and bustle of the main terminal 2 buzz below, it has a darkened quiet interior with friendly and helpful staff. Impeccably clean like all of Singapore, at 9:30a on a Friday it was fairly empty and quiet. Wifi is free and sufficiently fast to download movies. Food offerings were really good compared to most other airline lounges, especially in the morning hours. They had a large spread of dim sum, congee and Malay offerings like Nasi Lemak makings but they also offered western food such as eggs florentine and chicken sausages as well as an Indian curry and a small salad bar with various sandwiches. There were even some all- veg offerings for those misguided souls that are vegetarians. ;) There were also plenty of beverage choices including French and Australian Red wines, Spanish and New Zealand whites, Tiger beer on tap, Heineken in the can, a full hard liquor selection as well as a nice coffee making machine, plenty of tea varieties and a European hot chocolate machine. There are certainly worse environments you could be in to kill time! Compared to most other airline lounges I have been in across North America and western Europe, the refinement and attention to food variety gets this lounge high marks from me.

I love Singapore Airlines, and the lounge is no different. It's awesomeee! You can make free local calls in the phone booth, use the PC or Mac computers and free wifi, eat the DELICIOUS food, drink both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and relax in the comfy chairs. There are always people waiting to help you or take your dishes. The Silver Kris lounge is definitely a nice place to spend your layover, but it is also a great end to a vacation in SIngapore. :)

I've said it before and I will say it again: Changi Airport and Singapore Airlines are one of the best things about Singapore, so it is no surprise that I find the Silver Kris Lounge the best business class lounge in the world. The lounge is huge and in the evening it is typically super busy but somehow it remains classy and calm. It does make me wonder how many people fly business on SQ (answer: a lot!). The food selection is huge and varies from Western to a big variety of Asian style food. My faves are the cheese selection, soba noodles and fresh papaya fruit. The bar is also well stocked, especially considering the prices of booze in Singapore. It goes without saying that their liquor offerings are of good quality but what really gets me is that they have a large variety of non-alcoholic offerings. Both Schweppes club soda and Perrier water, I don't think I've ever seen this in another business class lounge. So, if you are flying business on Singapore Airlines from Changi Airport, don't stress and arrive Just-In-Time: relax and enjoy the lounge!

This is the business class lounge for Singapore Airlines in Changi Airport. I really like the interior design, a mix of marble tables and brown furniture. There is plenty of seats available, and the breakfast selection was decent when I visited the lounge.

Clean, spotless, lighted columns and interior filled with variety of seating options from arm chairs, dinning tables and computer work station seating. Private booths for phone calls, wifi and good selection of food n beverages. Checked in for breakfast time 4.30am and there were variety of sandwiches, chicken porridge, pau, siew mai, mee rebus noodles, fried rice, ee fu noodles, omelettes, chicken sausage and cheeses. Coffee, teas, expresso machine, hot chocolate machine, pop, juice and water. Nice free liquor bar such as Johnny walker black, gin, vodka and beers.

Enormous, comfortable and well appointed, the SilverKris flagship lounge in Changi is as good as an airport lounge gets. Plenty of Asian and Western food options at all times of day and a plethora of both alcoholic and soft drinks. Even when busy, it never feels crowded and there is generally plenty of room to stretch out (unlike the SilverKris in Hong Kong, which is cramped and a bit rough around the edges.) This should be the model for all international lounges.
