Our second year in a row dining at Silverstand in Amstelveen, and it’s absolutely amazing! The food is fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The staff are warm, attentive, and make you feel truly welcome. The atmosphere is cozy yet elegant — perfect for any occasion. Consistently excellent quality and service. Highly recommended!

We're on a suggestion as we are visiting. Looks fantastic. Quick word, better and cheaper than UK. Told it's on the border of the forest. Nice location. Customers are more polite? Anyway, the steak was just how it should be, thick & juicy. Red in the middle. Do love the salad. Coffee, chesse cake, wow. Go 5 stars. We loved it.

We've been to Silversant four times this summer and have never been disappointed with the food. However, we are very disappointed with the service offered to foreigners. There's a clear difference in treatment between regulars and people who aren't from here. We're French, and the waiters sometimes ignored us for over an hour. I understand that it's important to focus on satisfying regulars, but we pay the same price as everyone else, and therefore, we expect the same quality of service.

I am so glad to experience a more traditional Dutch restaurant. The staff was energetic and very accommodating. I had to request to move from outdoor to indoor seating because it got quite chilly in the evening. It was no problem. The food portion is generous and they are very tasty.

There’s this cool, popular old restaurant right by the old church in Amstelveen and next to a lovely forest. It’s got a huge outdoor area and a big, split-up indoor space too. This time, me and my friends just had cake and coffee, but we’re already planning to come back and try their tempting food. I really liked the name — “Silver Sand” 😍.

Excellent salads, especially the one with beef. Affordable prices. Extensive kids’ menu (though most options aren’t very healthy). Great service and a fairly cozy interior. I recommend it.

Awesome service. We waited for just 10 min to get to our seats even though we didn't reserve earlier. Food is tasty and big Portion. I could not finish the spit ribs.

A wonderful local bar-restaurant, overlooking the church and a stone throw away from lake and forest area. Spacious terrace and cosy interior. Good selection of drinks, and great snack platters.

This restaurant has a nice outside area. When I was there all the tables were occupied or reserved so I ate inside. They have a bar inside. It's dark and the bartenders are friendly. The menu wasn't so exciting. I ordered an omelet with ham and cheese. It came with a salad on the plate. The omelet was rather salty. I wouldn't have put any extra salt on it had I known how salty it really was. The service was friendly but serving the people outside was my servers priority so I'd say I was neglected even when I caught his eye he didn't respond with can he get me anything else. I walked up to the bar and paid my bill. The restaurant is also dog friendly. It's also a very short distance to the entry path to the Amsterdam Bos.

GREAT GREAT terrace in the sun till late. It is really lost in the Amsterdam/Amstelveen country side... but if you drive by it is worth a stop. Very dutch and very dutch customers.
