Very cool store. Not like the other bland gift shops that all sell the exact same thing. This one was unique in every way. Definitely one of my favorite gift shops ever

We visited Silverton and happened into the train art store and were very delighted to find all kinds of things. They had a great selection of metal sign art as well as train and airplane memorabilia.
The store owner was very friendly and my wife bought his book also.
I bought a large SE5 prop that’s hanging over my TV by my RC plane
Room.
Thanks again.

I found the store owner to be rude. Made the shopping experience unpleasant.

In 2001 rode the train and finally again in 2022 rode with my three kids. The Train Store created these awesome pictures to remember the ride. 2001 picture is of 481 & 478 and the 2022 picture is of 480 & 473

The older gentleman behind the counter was making disgusting comments towards my daughter, and seemed to have a couple screws loose.. Completely unprofessional!

My granddaughter and I were there visiting Silverton this past weekend. We happened to walk in the store just to browse. Picked up a conductor rubber ducky for the four-year-old grandson. We started talking to the owner who was a very nice elderly gentleman.. He had started telling us about the previous owner a lady who Had passed, and had fallen in love with one of the train conductors. After he purchased the store he found her notes about her experiences. He wrote a book called train story diary. I had to purchase it. I have not yet had a moment to read it But I am really looking forward to it. He wrote it based on the journal he had found. He allowed my granddaughter to look at the journal Is she loved the little few Passages she had time to read. He also signed the inside of the cover for me. Thank you Mr. Boeder!
