Google
Exceeded all my expectations. I will break down my experience into categories: **Staff:** The staff was absolutely amazing. They seemed very happy to work there and were incredibly helpful. **Water Park:** The water park featured some fantastic rides. The changing rooms were very clean, and there were plenty of food and drink options, along with ample seating for everyone. I do recommend bringing your own towels, as they do not rent them out, but they are available for purchase. **Roller Coasters:** The park has a variety of coasters, with "Tremors" and the newer "Stunt Pilot" being particularly smooth and exciting. I’ve visited many parks across the country, and these attractions can compete with the top national brands. **Food:** The food was above average for a carnival/theme park setting. While the buffet was somewhat lackluster, it is a good deal if you plan to go back multiple times throughout the day. **Overall Pricing:** Everything, from parking to food, admission, merchandise, and souvenirs, was fairly priced. Since this park isn’t part of a nationwide corporation, you won’t encounter the corporate markup typically found at large parks like Disney or Six Flags. In summary, this was an excellent experience. We visited on July 4 and 5, and even though the crowds were a bit larger on the second day, everything remained manageable. The park was absolutely beautiful, with every detail—from landscaping to music and cleanliness—being spot on. I would definitely recommend this park to any family, and the 6.5-hour drive we made to get there was worth it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem of Pure Fun — Silverwood Is Outstanding! 🎢🌲☀️ Silverwood Theme Park absolutely blew us away! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful setting, friendly staff, and the perfect mix of thrill rides, family attractions, and water park fun. It’s truly a hidden gem in the Northwest — clean, well-run, and full of charm. The roller coasters are incredible! Stunt Pilot was smooth and intense, Tremors delivered insane airtime, and Timber Terror was a blast from start to finish. Even the classic Corkscrew was a thrill with its historic flair. The rides are well-maintained, and the wait times were super reasonable — a rare treat! Boulder Beach Water Park was the perfect way to cool off, with awesome slides, wave pools, and a great kids’ area like Poliwog Park. Everything felt safe, organized, and spotless. We also loved the live entertainment and the charming touches like the steam train ride with a fun little show — such a unique experience! The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, from the ride operators to food service to lifeguards. You can tell they take pride in the park and care about guest experience. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add more vegetarian options and maybe even a few Indian dishes to the food courts — that would make the park even more inclusive. Overall, Silverwood is an absolute 10/10! It’s got the magic of a big theme park but with the warmth and personality of a local treasure. We’ll definitely be back — and bringing more friends next time!

Google
Silverwood is a great theme park. It has a variety of rides that will appeal to young kids and coaster heads. If you're plus size, don't worry cause I fit on all of the major coasters and I'm 6'5 300 lbs. The entertainment is solid, we liked the magic show a lot. The park could use a dark ride or two, but other than that, it was a fantastic experience. Also, the food was cheap and surprisingly good for theme park food.

Google
The entire park is staffed by happy workers. There is no shortage of fun. I recommend buying the refillable cup- absolutely worth it. The bar in Main Street has excellent drinks. Bring a backpack, flip flops and swimsuit for switching to the Boulder Beach park if going during summer. Best day ever! Thank you Silverwood!

Google
What a beautiful park! Both Silverwood and Boulder Beach were clean & tidy. All the staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. We had a great family visit! Thank you for your hospitality!

Google
This was our first time at silverwood and now we are already planning to come every summer! The park has the most amazing "old time" feel, while being modern and great ride selection! We went with a group of kids ages 3-18 and they all went on so many rides! The train is a must do, their actresses are so great. The coffee was 10/10, the Waterpark was awesome! Honestly this quickly became one of my favorite amusement parks!

Google
The best theme park with the most value for money. Every ride is excellent, the rollercosters are thrilling. The food is good and pricing is very affordable. The train ride, magic show are very engaging.

Google
My family and I recently went to Silverwood Theme Park and Boulder Beach Waterpark, and we were thoroughly impressed. The waterpark was fantastic, and the theme park had minimal wait times. Everything was impeccably clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every moment of our visit, and the ticket prices, along with parking, were very reasonable. Would highly recommend coming to anyone looking for a nice family outing. Definitely coming back in the future, we live a few states away.

Yelp
This is a shout out to the AMAZING staff of Scarywood. October 2023 was my daughters first time attending Scarywood with us. When she entered the park she suddenly became terrified ( this is after her begging us to go for weeks). Cast members from all over the park came by to talk to her and encourage her to stay. By the end of the night she was leaving the park waving goodbye to all her scary friends and telling them she would be back next year. The ammount of respect I have for the haunt actors grew tremendously that night. They created a new horror fan in my daughter. This year we took her again and she immediately walked in the park with confidence and excitement. She even recognized several of her " friends" from the previous year. The haunt actors are truly amazing with kids. Thank you for helping my kiddo truly appreciate the magic and fun of Scarywood.

Yelp
Went last year during the summer season and came back for Scarywood this October, I am always impressed by how clean the park is and the friendliness of the staff. Leagues better than any park in the entire state of Washington. Great atmosphere, food and souvenirs are not obscenely overpriced like other high-end theme parks. Fun rides, even if the wooden coasters are a bit rough. The haunted houses during Scarywood were a blast, thoroughly impressed with the level of detail. I wish the actors were a little better with their back-and-forth improv, but I could tell they were giving a good effort. We went on the first Thursday they were open so it wasn't overcrowded, we were able to hit all the haunts, several rides and caught the magic show all in one evening.

Yelp
I've been here about 3 times over the last 5 years. This review is based on my Aug 2024 experience. Environment: The staff are wonderful. I haven't had a bad experience with any of them. Most prices for merchandise are exactly what I'd expect to pay. For example, my son's hoodie was $32. Food: They let you bring in your own food (look at the website for specifics). The food at the park itself is good amusement park food and not overly priced. We were able to order enough food to feed my family of 5 for under $50 (pizza, breadsticks, popcorn bucket, and drinks). Extras: The shows, like the Magic Show and train rides, for example, are a great intermission to rides! Parking: You do have to pay for parking, but it's only $10, and if you get there early enough, you can park really close. You can also store a cooler in your car for a lunch intermission with the family as the park allows re-entry.

Yelp
This by far my favorite amusement park! And it's was my first time. This park was clean, staff was friendly and engaging. We had 100000% the best time here. It was my kids first amusement park (4&6) and my son's first roller coaster was here... probably not the best for 6 year olds. Whoops, but he laughs about it now. Both loooooved the rest of the park. We ate at the bbq place, great food. Dining area was clean, plentiful seating. We can't wait to return!

Yelp
Everything went perfect we are going back this year it was so fun! I think it is the best theam park on earth!

Yelp
Came during Halloween season when they turn into Scarywood and had a blast! The decorations and fog they added to the place made it an excellent way to get in the mood of Halloween and the haunts were pretty fun. A lot of the makeup and decorations were surprisingly realistic and didn't feel gimmicky. There's a good mix of families and adults around having a good time. Most of the scarers did an excellent job - but two individuals really went into the territory of sexual harassment of a friend (following her when we were out of the haunt). Management needs to do a better job of screening/training to ensure that their scarers understand what is inappropriate to say - and what is fitting with the theme. Some of the rides are closed but most are open - and it's very fun riding a rollercoaster during the night with a spooky themed place looking below. We ordered a pizza while here and it was surprising good for amusement parks! There was a nice cheese pull and everything. I also really like that the place is cashless. There's a lot of signage around the roads pointing you how to enter - the google maps instructions have you going a slightly different route. We went by following the signs and that worked out well.

Yelp
Our family visited silverwood theme park for the first time. We went on the last weekend of their summer hours, and we thought that would be better than the middle of summer for crowds. First, Their RV park: We also discovered shortly before going that they had an RV park! We had reserved a hotel for about $1100 for three nights in Coeur d'Alene, but when we found out about the RV park we checked and were actually able to find a spot for our RV, so we canceled the hotel and stayed at the RV park for $200 instead if f $1100, and didn't have a 30 min drive! Also we could just walk back to the trailer anytime and cool off or get refreshments. Very convenient. The only thing we didn't like about the RV park was we were RIGHT NEXT to the freeway and the noise was loud and constant. The only good thing was that it was so constant that it became like white noise. To minimize that, consider getting a spot on the RIGHT side of the RV park if you can. (Opposite side from the freeway and silverwood). They had a small store there and the staff was very nice. They have a huge kids play structure in the middle of the RV park, and the water in the RV connections tastes good and there are showers. If you have an RV and want to go to silverwood, staying in this RV park is overall a great option. Apparently it's nearly impossible to get spots there during the regular summer, but if you are early or late in the season like we were, it might not be so bad. We got a Fri, Sat, and Sunday night with only a few weeks notice. We had to move once, but still a good deal. As for the park, it was mostly unbearably crowded. When they first opened it wasn't too bad, but within an hour there were long lines. Too long to really want to deal with. It made me feel like I was back in Commiefornia fighting the mobs of people. The rides that we did go on were pretty good. I was only able to go on 3 or 4, as I had kids that were afraid to go on the large ones, even if we could get though the line, but my favorite by far was STUNT PILOT. The MOST intense ride I've been on. I'm sure the others were good too, but I wasn't able to go on most. The food was overpriced, obviously, but the chicken strip meals were very good. When you are gouged, at least it's nice to get something delicious. The restaurants seemed to close early though, we tried to go to the nice sit down Italian place, but they had stopped taking new customers 90 min before the park closed. The water park, boulder beach, was a lot of fun. At first it took us an hour to find ONE single chair for my wife, and before we found it I was ready to say screw this, with no where for her to sit out of the sun, but after she had that chair, we could enjoy the park. (Everyone drapes their towels over the available chairs to save them, and then goes off all day, so there are hundreds of unoccupied chairs that are unavailable). The lines were more manageable in the water park, and the tube slides were fun and and the non tube slides, but unless you have a group of 4-6 don't bother with the larger group inner tubes at the far end of the park. The line was about an hour, and the 30 second tube ride was not even worth it. My personal favorite was the large wave pool. Both me and my older two daughters had a lot of fun there. Very large waves, warm water, and it was just fun! The floating circle in the middle was also fun and relaxing. Definitely worth going on a hot day. The gift shot was pricey, but they had everything you might need of you didn't bring it. Overall Silverwood is great, if somehow you can avoid the crowds. Not really sure how to do that, but that's my recommendation.

Yelp
Today we came with my Mom and my two daughters. The lines to rides were great, we went through them fast. I think everyone is on the water park side because it was not busy at all. We ate at Caselli's pizzeria. My daughter had the cheese pizza and my Mom and I had the garden and Cesar salads. The salads were so fresh and yummy we were really impressed. Both of my girls got their souvenir cups for $11 and we refilled them all day. This is our first time here and we will definitely be back.

Yelp
Silverwood is a lovely, mid-sized theme park and water park in Northern Idaho. The grounds are lovely, clean and with lots of shade. Most of the employees were friendly and cheerful. In the theme park, the lines for the rides mostly move quickly, except for the wooden rollercoasters, which are very popular. They have 5-6 thriller rides, plus a host of rides for families and smaller children. We were disappointed that Aftershock was closed for maintenance when we visited, and there was no advance warning on their website. The water park is huge, with multiple slides, a lazy river, two wave pools and a large kiddie play area. The lines for the two large water rides at the back of the park were way too long and slow moving - we didn't ride them. The lines for the other slides were fast moving and there is something for everyone. The wave pools have quite aggressive waves, which my granddaughter loved. Just watch your kids!!!! I wish they had a few more changing rooms, especially close to the entrance. Food options are standard, but a bit limited for full meals. The BBQ picnic areas offer the best "all you can eat" options. I think they need a few other full meal options, as wait times during prime time are quite long. All the food we consumed was tasty and fresh. All in all, a lovely amusement park!

Yelp
My family goes here every year when we come up from AZ. We make it an open til close day of it. In our 12 hour day, here's what we make of it. Parking is $10 and the entire park is moving to cashless so you'll need a card or Apple Pay/Google Wallet for all purchases (unless you do the cash and which we've never done). If you bought online tickets, you'll also have to show proof of the card you used to buy them at the gate. If you are planning to go to the water park side first like we always do, I suggest getting there at least 30-45 mins early. The line forms and as soon as they open the gates, it's a MAD DASH to secure chairs and shade. We get there early, join the Pamplona style rush to the water park and one person goes to get chairs while the others rush to the rides to get on before the lines build. We try and get the big rides done early so we don't have to wait in the ling midday lines, baking in the sun. The park allows you to bring outside food and drink in but it has it meet park guidelines (they do bag searches at the entry gate). We pack in a full picnic style lunch and usually eat between 1-2pm. We spend the rest of the afternoon in the wave pool and lazy river and other slides, if the lines aren't too long. Side note about the lazy river: maybe "lazy" is not the right word. You have to fight for a tube, there is no limit on how many times you can go around either so people just forgo the tubes all together and just walk/run/swim/float it. It's the warmest water in the park and has a section with a swim up bar, so it draws a lot of people in. This isn't the leisurely float you might be expecting it to be. Around 3-4pm we change clothes and take all our water park stuff back to the car. The staff will stamp your hand for reentry. We move over the amusement park side and try and get to Coaster Alley to ride all the coasters before the water park closes. We can usually get right on and off and have almost no wait but once the water park closes, your wait can double or triple. Word of advice: if you've never ridden a wooden coaster before, they are LOUD!!! Not just roller roaster loud but rattle your literal ear drums loud. Not to mention you either get a chiropractic adjustment on them or need one afterwards. Not smooth sailing. Our kids are hit or miss if they want to do the wood coasters. Instead they really like Stunt Pilot and Corkscrew. We also don't make the rookie mistake anymore of doing roller coasters after we've eaten, so we meet for dinner around 6-7pm. I'm going to let you in on the best deal by far in all of Silverwood is the one scoop bowl/come at the Creamery. If this "one scoop" could apply as a way of measuring other delicious things, chip bags would be entirely full and family sized! This one scoop is actually 5ish and it's feeds out 5 people, plus you can pick up to three flavors. It's always a winner. Perfect way to get some nice cold ice cream in and some good sitting time after a lot of walking. Then, before the sun goes down, we do the two water attractions so we can dry off before it gets dark. The signs say "you might get wet" .. uh no. 100% you will be soppy so wear quick dry clothes or don't all the way change into your warm dry clothes until after the water rides. Especially jeans or Jean shorts; that's a mistake that will be chafing you for the rest of the evening. To round us out for the night we ride everything else and spend some time with the younger kids who come with us on some of the smaller rides. Our favorite is the Crazy Coaster and even though it looks like a little guy compared to its big brothers in Coaster Alley, it gives you quite the ride! If the ride operator spins you beforehand, it's a bonus. By closing time everyone is ready to head out, exhausted and we call it another successful year. Tips: -buy tickets in the off season and get the early bird price (since they can be used anytime, no reservations needed at the tim e of this review) -bring lots of water and sunscreen -bring a method of payment that isn't cash -buy the collector cup right when you get there so you can get free refills all day long or remember to bring yours from previous visits for 99 cent refills -people in the water park leave their stuff in chairs all day long and for the most part, no one messes with it. Also, if you see a chair with stuff on it, it's not available and don't be the exception of messing with stuff people left behind -life jackets are provided -try and go on a weekday to avoid crowds -get the ice cream!! -once the water park closes, you can't leave your stuff there; you'll have to take it to the car, get a locker or carry it around -it's a lot of walking so be prepared -save your feet from burning/blistering up in the water park by bringing flip flops or sandals

Yelp
Fun park for families and thrill seekers! Enjoy rides of all intensity and when you need a break, there are some great food options!

Yelp
The park is so clean, all the staff were very friendly and there is SO MUCH TO DO. We got two day passes and thought we'd have tons of time to do everything...we didn't! We had the best time and can't wait to come back again.

Yelp
I don't get the low stars- this park is clean, great rides, low cost meals and snacks, boulder beach is included.

Daniel K.

Yelp
Still fun, but... * Parking has increased (again) and is now $10 per car. * The magic show no longer features Nick Norton but instead apprentice who is not yet ready for the stage. Maybe in a couple of years. * The train ride starts with twenty minutes of safety warnings (do not stand up, do not stand up, do not stand up). Then twenty minutes of unintelligible patter and bad acting. Then twenty minutes of infomercial for BBQ and funnel cakes. Absolutely awful.

Noah F.

Yelp
I came here in September and I forgot how much I love it, the rides are fun, the design of the buildings is cool, and they have a food court with great food. I recommend checking this place out if your in the area

Yelp
Went for mothers day only to walk around for 2 hours because all but 2 coasters were down for either repairs or maintenance. We get that these things happen but they should've prepped better for their planned maintenance. This park to too small to have a handful of rides down at once. I would've given 1 star if it wasn't for the GM refunding our ticket after explaining the frustration with paying for an experience we didn't get. Maybe when boulder beach opens it will feel worth the while when rides are down but this was a horrible experience for our first time going. I'm honestly nervous to spend a few hundred dollars to come back once tickets are full price becuase I would be mad if this happened when paying full price. I didn't have much as far as expectations went but they totally underdelivered this weekend. We will see if we decide to come back, not sure yet!

Allie R.

Yelp
Had a amazing day here! The rides are fun even if the lines are a bit long. If your looking for somewhere to eat inside the park I'd recommend Libby's otherwise it's just the same theme park fried food wherever you go. They have so many options for great tasting desserts that it was hard to just choose one. Would go again

Yelp
My wife is from the Athol area and actually worked at Silverwood in the early 2000s. She had a bad experience and left after about six weeks. That being said, she hadn't been back, until a couple of weeks ago when we visited while we were in town. I finally convinced my wife to go and we went on a Friday morning in early August. While it took us a few minutes to get through the parking area (the park had just opened) it wasn't super stressful. Parking is only $10 which is much cheaper than what I'm used to. Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida is up to $35 per car, so $10 is a steal. As we were walking towards the entrance of the park, through the tunnel that goes under the Interstate, my wife began to have a little bit of a PTSD meltdown, but by the time we got through the front gate, she had calmed down quite a bit. The beauty of the park made for a pleasant day and her memories of the past were washed away by "oh hey, that looks way nicer now" and "oh wow, the landscaping is awesome". Within an hour, she was completely at ease and was able to enjoy the atmosphere. We walked around the entire park and opted to get on the train ride around 12:30 PM. It was a great show (a little overacted), but we got to see Bigfoot! Once the train returned, we went to Lindy's for lunch. I was expecting to pay $30-$40 per person, but it was less than $20 per person. We both ended up getting cocktails and I think with our appetizer, two entrees, two cocktails, and a tip, we were out the door for less than $60. What a great value! After that, we went and got a massive funnel cake for $5, eating it in silence as the alcohol in our drinks did its work. Once the funnel cake was done being devoured, we were done being at the park, so we waddled out to the car and went home. Would I go back? 100000% Silverwood is one of the nicest and more value-oriented theme parks I've ever been to. There were lots of shady places, great food to eat, and tons of rides. I think we'll make visiting a part of our annual trek to Idaho.

Brittany S.

Yelp
My husband and I have gone twice now admittedly the first time we met when it was during Covid, but even the second time we went rides and attractions were still closed so we have not really had the full experience but staff is very friendly

Yelp
Came here at then end of summer holidays for the kid. I loved that the lines weren't long, rides were clean. Food selection is your typical theme park food, nothing extraordinary. The park itself was clean - perks of a smaller theme park. Definitely worth a drive if you are looking for a short break.

Yelp
As of the writing of this review, SIlverwood was my 55th theme park I have visited and OMG was I not prepared. This park packs so a good variety of the best of the best when it comes to rides and roller coasters. I enjoyed every second at this park, even while nearly choking on the nearby wildfire smoke. I highly recommend coming here and it's one of the most underrated gems out there. Please see my full tour and review on youtube just search MrBucketlist Silverwood Tour on Youtube if you don't believe me. Enjoy!!!

It was our first time at Silverwood and there were for sure some charming, fun things we loved and a few frustrating things that made our visit still quite fun, but I think dampened it slightly.  Overall, it was a super fun day.  I found it was hard as a first timer to find helpful info about a visit, so this is meant to help for planning as well! 1.        We arrived around 10:30 for 11am opening, I think that was fine, but entrance through the parking lot was very slow going and no one is there to direct you, so that leads to a little chaos.  Parking is $10 2.        We rented a cabana for the waterpark, so we headed off to check-in for that while our 2x 13 year olds ran off to hit a ride or two. 3.        Cabana check-in was GREAT.  Staff were helpful and so kind.  Worth the money to have a place to lock things up, and just relax. 4.        VIP wristbands for the bars are amazing...more to come on that. 5.        There is NO CASH in the park.  That also meant no tipping at the bars, restaurants, etc.  I like to tip my bartenders, but we were told they are very strict, so don't even try. 6.        We went off to the park, knowing we would come back to the cabana once it got too hot to be out of the water. 7.        It had been about an hour and our kids had been on ONE ride.  This ended up being a theme for the day.  The lines are SLOW.  Not that long, just really very slow moving 8.        We waited a very long time for them to get through the Tremors line and as we watched the line creep along, it became clear why.  They were sending each car with multiple empty seats.  In the end there is no one managing the line, pushing single riders through or even just making sure seats are full.  The kids are doing the best they can, but the lack of line management was frustrating.  9.        CUTTING IN LINES!  I was shocked by how much line cutting there was.  One mom and kid ahead of us in Tremors line had 12 people join them as the line moved along.  A group of teens ahead of us had 6 people join them in line.  In the end, it seems this is just how people wait in line here.  They send one ahead and then they join.  It just makes the lines move so slowly and they should think about that. 10.  Food is fast, but super generic.  Nothing felt good or bad, but it was all hot and came out quickly.  11.  Aftershock...our kids got in line 3 separate times and it broke down each time and they had to get out of line.  It wasted a ton of their time. 12.  The train!  So cute, but for our age kids, they were bored.  Maybe skip it with older kids.  13.   Waterpark!  Ok, here is where it went very well and also very badly.  I am so glad we got the cabana!  But there were some hard parts.  Again, the lines are WILD.  Our kiddos waited almost an hour for each of the rides.  In the end, in 4 hours they did 3 slides.  Again, so...much...cutting the line! 14.  The changing rooms are so gross.  No cleaning up the floor, the bathroom stalls or anything else.  In the end it was pretty gross and when water is everywhere that gets messy.  At the end of the day there was a pair of dirty underwear sitting on the ground for multiple hours that never got picked up.  15.  Food service to the cabanas was very fast and so easy.  Not a lot of variety, but fine. 16.   The lines at the bars are also wildly slow.  We watched someone wait over 30 minutes for a drink.  There is also a "21 and over" area at the swim up bar that has signs everywhere "21 and over only" but we found tons of kids sitting at the bar which was contributing to the line moving slowly. 17.   Closed rides are not on the website (that I could find) so unfortunately, the ride I was most excited about, Timber Terror, was closed when we arrived and I was BUMMED.  I love a wooden roller coaster and this was what I was most looking forward to. 18.  The rides were fun...nothing mind blowing, but the kids had fun!  Tremors is fast and LOUD.  I liked it!  The kids did all the coasters they could and were happy!   All in all, we had a good day.  I wouldn't feel compelled to spend multiple days here just because it didn't give me the warm fuzzy feeling that you get from other parks.  The employees are not overly friendly, and there are 100% not enough of them.  I know it is hard to find people right now, so I get it.  I would say be prepared for a lot of standing around and waiting.  But, if you can get past that, it is a fun place to spend the day.

Yelp
Wonderful experience! Still mostly like I remember it in the 90s. Cool to see it as an adult! My kids (10 and 8) enjoyed it very much. It was their first visit, but it won't be the last!! We had to skip the water park this time. Kids loved Rolling River Log Flume, Thunder Canyon Rapids, Bumper Boats, Cork Screw, and some little kids rides, like frog hopper, butterfly swings and Krazy Koaster! The Magic show was awesome, and they had affordable pizza!

Yelp
Water park section was my favorite. The wave to the tubing down the slides. As far as space so we can lay down or sit. We are just too many humans sitting inches from another family like seals on a weekend . need more space Rollercoasters we're nice although I avoided the scary ones. Biggest negative. The food is so so so simple yet the staff is very young, slow and useless at times. They just stand there at times. It takes premade nachos about 15 minutes to make from order to pay out. When it should take about 2-5 minutes. Very very very slow staff. Management needs a better plan and execution. Expect a hour wait for food. Food price is not bad but for the quality you get. Not too good. I had nachos supreme. One table spoon of barbacoa beef. I was like wow. Had a cheeseburger at night. There was a ready to go chicken strip and fries tray and they literally removed the chicken off the fries and placed our premade and wrapped cheeseburger on top of the fries. Bread was hard and meat was so dry. $12.99. So quality is bad. Bring your own food snacks if you can.

Yelp
So clean and well kept, friendly staff and not as expensive as other parks. We had a great time!

Yelp
I am going back next year cus is so much fun to go to Silverwood with my family I love it there so much

Yelp
We've been coming for years but it has become progressively more crowded and it's finally reached the point where it is no longer enjoyable. Two and half hours to get to the waterslide for a 30 second ride down is not my idea of fun! It's a pleasant enough place and they've got a nice waterpark and plenty of rides but they really should quit selling tickets before it gets completely packed. No longer worth going and sorry to see it.

Yelp
Wonderful time with family at the water park and on the rollercoasters. The magic show was a win as usual - great presenter and engages the crowd and never disappoints in awing/confusing/flat out messing with our family. My youngest is all about the lazy river and antique cars while my oldest and wife are all about Stunt Pilot and Tremors. Stunt Pilot is a fast and fun ride that is so smooth but pushes you to high G's and inversion over and over again. The line moves very fast and is totally worth it. Food is a great price. The staff are nice. We were here during a lightning storm that shut down the park and we still feel like we got our money's worth. If you know you are coming buy early in the year for a lower price. And we always stay at the RV park across the freeway. (Well worth it for us to not drive back at night after the park.)

Yelp
Bottom line: it's great summer fun and a great place to take the family and for a day out. There's really no central theme (like a Mickey Mouse or marvel characters, etc) but from what I've gathered... it mostly revolves around mid-west 19th century. The rides were decent. Thrill rides are mostly roller coaster centric and the other half of the park is catered to children 8 and below. While you can go through the whole park in a day (on a relatively slow week day), I can see how busy summer days or weekends can make the lines very long for a 45-second joy ride. Which In the grand scheme of things, isn't different than Disney or universal or Six flags. The food is "meh." It's your normal amusement park/bar food with hamburgers, hotdogs, and chicken fingers. There is a place for some BBQ but be prepared to pay a hefty price for the picnic experience. Pro-tip: checkout the website to check hours of operations. Summer hours start at around 1100 hours and goes all the way to 10pm. Although, the waterpark closes earlier than the amusement park portion of it. Pro-Tip #2: You can bring in unopened water and snacks (like family size Doritos or vegetable trays) but you won't be allowed to bring in prepared food or alcohol. Also, if you're going to bring in infant/toddler life jackets, it'll have to be certified (see website for more detail). We weren't allowed to bring in "floaties." Overall- I'd come back but it's not something one would do everyday. It's a once in a quarter or two experience.

Yelp
The family-owned aspect of Silverwood really shines. You can tell how much they love the park by how meticulous it is. The cast members are so excited and helpful and the rides just keep getting better and better. Add in having Scarywood to look forward to each fall and you'll see why this place is so popular! I grew up going here in the early 90s and enjoy it just as much now.

Yelp
I lost my shoe on a ride, I couldn't go an get it. They had to call and go get it, 5 hours wasted just to go get it, 70 dollars wasted for nothing.. A lady had to go and get it for us because she was so mad at the employees fo making me stay there horrible staff

Yelp
Went to the park for Memorial Day. Both the Waterpark and Amusement Park were open. The lines were short and quick and 5 dollar funnel cakes before 5 were a hit. The park was clean and the employees courteous. My only criticism was the short operating hours. We have been here multiple times and always have a good time.

Yelp
This is a great place to take kids. The variety of rides makes it an easy place to take grand kids. I've stayed in the RV park across the road. Every thing was well maintained and clean.

Yelp
At their restaurants they take forever to serve you. Also the service that they provide is not good. Do not recommend

Yelp
This is our family's summer vacation spot for all children yearly. We are fortunate to have my father in law and his wife's house only located 20 mins away from the attraction. My best advice to families or groups of people is to rent a cabana if you want to enjoy your day at the water park. I just think for $275, you'd get the peace of mind that you have a reserved spot at the water park and you don't have to get in line 2 hours prior to opening time just to rush in for a spot. The cabana comes with little table and four chairs, two lounge chairs, little cooler for you to store your drinks and/or food, secured locker, and food/drink service when you need to order food/drinks. The prices for food aren't that bad. If you complain, just try Disney Land prices. We always have a blast at the water park. The way we do our parks is we do one day for water park, and one day is reserved for theme park. We tried doing water park and theme park all in 1 day in 2020, and it didn't work out well because everyone was so cranky and exhausted by end of day. The theme park has tons of great rides, but the lines are just long. I guess patience pays off if you are ok with standing in lines for the rides. By the way, you seriously need to try After Shock and Stunt Pilot rides. You won't be disappointed. My husband thinks Silverwood in ID is way better than Wild Waves in WA. To each of their own opinion! I prefer Silverwood as well, but that's because I also like to travel.

Yelp
Where to begin with this place. It's almost like they intentionally chose for every aspect of this place to run as inefficiently as possible. I'm guessing that the management is not much older than the teen staff because this place was ridiculous. If I knew then what I know now I would only have gone for 1 day instead of 2 because there was really no point in the second day. To start, it would have been nice to be able to purchase the parking pass online and then have lanes for that to move things along more quickly rather than everyone getting into a few lines to pay. I'm used to places having a no bag entry line to speed things along too. Otherwise you kind of feel like you're cutting when you pass by everyone who's getting all their bags checked. We also noted that although they say no outside food or drinks (only refillable bottles that are empty) that is clearly not the case. So many people had stuff out in the open, so it was clear that rule is not enforced AT ALL, so bring what you want honestly. We bought our passes on their website, but you're required to provide the credit card used to pay as well. Not sure what they would do if someone were gifted with passes. I found it odd that they also took your picture upon entry as no venue has ever done that to me before. They have bands you can apparently buy and add money to, but they need to get with the times and just have you add a credit card for charges. I'm not about to load an amount and then have to go through the hassle of getting the unused portion refunded or having to add more money. Just do it right in the first place. Because of these things it pretty much forces you to get a locker. They have areas that would accommodate additional seating, but they just don't. They intentionally don't provide ample tubes in order to get people to rent them instead. Other parks don't offer rentals and just have ample supplies on hand. If you're going to have shows you should do it every hour starting shortly after opening if you're actually trying to get people into that. The train ran regularly every hour so thankfully we had time one day to catch it, otherwise I'm not waiting around for almost an hour for the next one. It's big though so lots of people can get on. That part was corny, but so much fun. Levi really made it entertaining. For the most part you can expect to spend maybe an hour in line for one minute of fun. That's the problem these days - they allow too much capacity because greed is more important than the customer experience. We found that getting to the park shortly after opening and going to the water park side worked best. We could get on a few rides quickly before lines got too long. The lazy river is not lazy or enjoyable at all. They need to have a tube drop off and pick up spot because otherwise everyone is just waiting to see if they can spot someone getting rid of theirs so they can snag it. The one time a line is needed and they don't have it. The problem is that it's so low small children can stand up in it and they allow people on the lazy river without a tube. So instead of just floating along and relaxing you have children swimming under the water with no regard for anyone else. The adults were no better just rushing through walking so they push you along with them and constantly bump into you. That was something I expected to be able to enjoy for a while when I decided to come here, but after two laps we were done because it was not a lazy river at all, just a crowded wading pool. We left the park first day and came back after 5pm (there were no parking attendants anymore so why did I need to keep my receipt?). We headed over to the amusement park side and that late the lines were not so bad (inclement weather may have helped a bit) so we were able to get on several rides. It's pretty much roller coasters or kiddie stuff. When we returned the next day we just wanted to try out another couple water slides we didn't get to the day before. Here's a thought - keep everyone completely outside the park until opening rather than creating more chaos. We would already be lined up so no need to go anywhere until it's actually time to get in. It was early and the amusement park side was busier than the evening before so glad we went on pretty much everything then. The employees were so bad too, waiting sometimes 15+ minutes after getting the last riders off before letting the next ones on (and no, there were no issues, just teens being terrible at their jobs). So that kind of blew it for us at that point for going on more rides. My suggestion is to not display prizes that you don't have (and you should give out the display ones until you get more). We decided to eat at the buffet which was not great. Not many options for a buffet (hot dogs or pulled pork) even for sides. Plus only ketchup, mustard, and relish for hot dogs. Would have been happier had we just done the first day and saved money. Only okay at best.

Yelp
Clowns had bad breath. Timber terror was backwards and so rickety literally gave me a headache. Panic plunge nearly gave me a heart attack so scary. People in the bushes were well disguised and very spooky.

Yelp
On a positive note the place was pretty clean, up to date and staff I had encounters with were very friendly. Lots of bathrooms and changing rooms! They also have wheelchairs and strollers for rent which was really convenient as we had to rent one last minute. The rides were Ok too. They don't have as many water rides in Boulder Beach as I thought they would. The parking lot is big so make sure you remember where you park based on the pole your next to. The line to get in at 11:15 AM, 15 minutes past opening, was immensely long but it was never at a stand still which was good. It took about 30 minutes to get in. The parking lot is a bit far from the park to step out and eat lunch so I suggest you take a cooler with lunch/snacks or buy your food inside. Parking is also $5. Bad part is that the place was way too packed for a gloomy Saturday and during COVID. I probably won't be making another trip here from Western Washington anytime soon. For me it's just not worth the drive. Highly suggest you don't stay at the water park until they close at 7 PM and then make your way to the theme park because the lines at the theme park will be long and you can barely walk in there after 7. I heard many people complain of waiting in line over 45 minutes for ice cream and 2 hours for a funnel cake.

Yelp
We went on a Sunday and Monday at the end of August. It wasn't too crowded and the weather was nice. I think it was a great time to go. The first day we went to the rides area. First, we took the train. There were a lot of really gross bugs that kept flying in. The train ride and the commentary from the host were really geared toward younger children. We went on a few of the rides and the lines and wait weren't very long. The coffee shop was a nice place to sit and cool off, it was very cold. However, the wait was extremely long even though there weren't many people in line. The magic show was really well done and fun. I would love to see a longer performance from them. On Monday we went to the Boulder Beach side. We got to the chairs near the wave pool about 11:10am and there were tons of chairs available. By noon, most of them had been taken. The wave pool is fun for a little while. I do wish there was a place for adults to just chill out in the water, like a regular pool. The lazy river was very nice. It was so relaxing and calm. I loved the music being played and the atmosphere. The worst part of the whole trip was when we tried to get food on Monday. We went to the Mexican place near the wave pool. There weren't that many people in front of us in line (maybe 10?) and it took over an hour. You could tell it was because they didn't have many people working there and those people that were there were slow. In general, all the staff that we came into contact with were really friendly. The first day we got there around 2pm and were not charged to park, however we had to park at the very end and edge of the lot. The main complaints were the coffee shop and Mexican food place. Next time I would bring my own food and drinks.

Yelp
They do a lot right at Silverwood. Friendly people, a nice water park, some great rides. The issues are, most of the food is horrendous. A bunch of fried crap and the all you can eat bbq is just plain gross. But what bugs me most is now they are cashless. I don't like this one but. First, money is legal tender and to not accept it should be illegal.. but I have to carry my credit card and if I lose it I'm screwed. You guys need to accept cash!!!!!

Yelp
Love come in here and bring the kids spring and fall are the best times you literally walk on all the rides but Boulder beach is pretty fun in the summertime If you want a cabana you have to reserve it pretty early I would definitely suggest two months in advance but there are rare times where there are still cabanas available Since coffee is my go to I definitely get one at the Victorian house. Yummy. Theme park is nice and clean the grounds are taken care of and staff are friendly I'm currently watching people play chess at the Victorian house while waiting for my coffee... Yes it's busy for coffee today. I'm sure my daughter has gone on tremors for the eighth time already. Lol This is my kids alternative to Disneyland LOL

Yelp
Theme parks always have long lines, but these seemed particularly long. Twice we waited over 1/2 an hour in line just for them to close the ride. I understand safety is the priority but it was frustrating. The Canyon ride seemed annoying as we timed it. 2-3 minutes between rafts and only 4 rafts running. Definitely no safety need required much of a gap. I'm guessing maybe they just don't have the staff to run both lines. On the other hand, parking was only $5 and they have an unlimited BBQ for $18. The rides themselves were fun but we averaged over 1 hour wait for each ride.

Yelp
More time spent in lines that actually getting to do anything. That includes eating. Very cute place and lots to do. If you are willing to wait 20 minutes at most of the rides.

Yelp
This place can be a lot of fun...., unless you bring cash or are older than 20's. #1- I purchased my tickets at the gate, was not told they were cashless. never saw a sign anywhere stating they were cashless. waited in line for a frozen drink for more than 30 minutes only to be turned away because they wouldn't take my cash, still no sign. turns out there is one register that will take cash so you can buy a band. if you don't spend all the money, can be refunded at the end of the day... super convenient. #2 the park allows people to be rude to others in the form of no chair to sit in. all over the water park are hundreds of chairs....that you can't sit in because someone has claimed it and left personal belongings on the chair but never sits in it. I passed the same chairs all day and no one was ever sitting in them but they were taken by bags and towels. I am in my fifties with a bad back and cannot sit on the ground and the rocks hurt to sit on. why are there not racks for towels and bags so people can actually use the chairs? its extremely unfair and rude to claim a chair and not sit in it. the park allows this behavior. after paying too much to park, a couple hundred dollars to get in and way too much for food or drink, the least they could offer me is a place to sit down, but no..... I will just go to the lake next time... it would be cheaper to rent a boat and go skiing

Yelp
A reasonably priced, fun, clean park. The staff is upbeat. Great rides. Fair food prices. Great magic show.

Yelp
Love this park. It's cheaper than D*sneyland and Wo*ld. It's the perfect 2 day park. Water park on one side, amusement park on the other. The park opens at 11am. That means you need to be there parking at 10-10:30 to get in line to get in. The lines moved quick. Excellent staff moving people in to have fun. Parking is $5.00 all day. If you come back after 4 or 5pm parking was FREE. The ice cream shop opens at noon. People are standing or sitting in line in the shade waiting for that place to open. Get in line so you won't be there for an eternity. Have some fun folks! Be prepared to stand in a line to get on a ride. It's not gonna be long. Play games on your phone, people watch, count how many people have on hats....or purple hats...or tie dye hats....or squid hats... A positive attitude change is everything. Don't forget to get your elephant ear snack! Yum! The magic show was a nice change of pace. Order your pizza and be entertained. Dinner and a show! Those folks there do a lot to help people have a good time. Show them the respect they deserve. I love this park and always have a great time here.

Yelp
Had a very nice time although during one of our rides a worker named R.J. had worn our backpack we had set to the side that contained all of our belongings. He did it without our permission and made us very uncomfortable. I believe since it was a small silly child backpack he wanted to use "protecting" our backpack as an excuse to wear it. Workers were very young and unprofessional at times. Other than that it was a very nice place and a great time for 4th of July!

Yelp
What an amazing family theme park brought our granddaughter and her friend. We opened and closed the park and had a blast. The staff at this park is all beyond kind and truly seem to enjoy their jobs and each other. Every time we saw them pass each other on the streets the would stop and greet each other and give fist bumps or high fives. The prices do not gauge and are extremely reasonable, everything is so clean, I cannot believe this park has been open for more than 30 years. I love also all of the shade available, and the seating areas, weather it is the border gardens, benches, or rocking chairs. It is a very friendly, welcoming, hometown, safe, family atmosphere far people of all ages. We will be back for sure!!
