The cafe has a lot of great indoor and outdoor spaces for hanging out. Amazing food and their own cookbook you can purchase (we've tried the tomato soup and Danish apple cake so far, both lovely). The staff was very young and busy with training another new young member; friendly but busy staying above water. Big recommend.

We only had drinks here. At 4:45 the owner was letting customers know she only does take-away last 15 minutes and closes promptly at 5! She turned customers away to do so. This a village with NO other food options in late August, so a bit surprising (shocking) The old building is authentic and charming. Hospitality may be wonderful at noon but by 5 pm it was lacking

We had a nice sweet potato and carrot soup (as the soup of the day) and a lovely waffle with great jam for dessert.

Wonderful coffee shop with wonderful food: chocolate chip cookies and the rhubarb jam are still giving me sweet dreams! The staff was quite lovely as well. Epitome of Iceland!

A cozy café, known for great coffee, homemade treats, and vintage charm—perfect for a scenic stop in the Westfjords.

Atmosphere of this cafe was so cozy and warm! We had the best waffle with rhubarb jam here. Soup was a little bit too salty tho. I loved the art works on walls, retro furniture and crafty souvenyrs as illustrated postcards, cookbook or canvas bags and T-shirts. We took cinnamon roll on the way, it was a little bit too sweet and dry. But overall I would come back for sure!

Cozy and friendly coffeehouse located in Pingeyri Iceland in the Westfjords. This was a planed stop because of all their reviews that we read. We enjoyed a warm soup before our hike. Such a relaxing atmosphere. It is an old grocery store from 1915, which we restored and converted into a coffeehouse by the current owners who bought it in 2005. They renovated the whole house but kept most of the original interior. We took a walk to the back of the restaurant to where they had outdoor seating so we could take a look at a bus that they had for extra seating when this place gets crowded. We thought that was really cool! They are only open from June 1st to September 1st

A small cafe in a small and remote village in western Iceland. Good coffee!
