"Simmzy's, Marina Del Rey. This Manhattan Beach favorite now has a Marina Location. In addition to the fantastic craft beer offering, Simmzy's offers some of the best food down by the beach."

This small restaurant is small and can easily be missed if you aren't looking for it while driving down Washington. Due to the timing of when I went there for dinner parking was another issue, unless you are okay with Valet parking ($13). Once you get into the restaurant it has a great atmosphere, and contemporary decor. The music wasn't overpowering, TVs had on different games and weren't too loud either. Staff was on top of it, and though there were quite a few tables in the restaurant, they made sure I was taken care of. Food was good. I took the waitresses suggestion and went with the pull pork. It did not disappoint, the size of the sandwich was large and the flavor was spot on. I then went with the apple-filled doughnut for desert and that was also amazing. tl;dr I would recommend this restaurant, and would definitely come back to try other items.

1 star for the happy hour bartender that was outstanding even though he wasnt my waiter. If we ever come back we will ask for him instead. 1 star for the angus burger 1 star for the restaurant design and location. There was male bartender at the bar during happy hour who greeted us and immediately and rushed to get waters to the table. He had great custimer service, warm and friendly with all who entered and made sure to check on us while wrapping up his last tables. The waitress we had was not prompt with any service, drinks, refills or food, passing us by on her way to refill her other tables., and making me wave her down for drinks, the first set, and refills. The sliders, and fries we recieved were cold, but the sauces were ok. The jalapenos were not spicey, and the filling was interesting. The house burger made with Angus was the best thing we ordered, which i didnt happen to get a picture of. 👀

Really all I can say about eating here is check, been there done that. I don’t feel the need to go back. The food was ok, but not great, the location is fun and vibrant. Lots of specialty beers, but the server really didn’t seem to know them. Told the server what big name beers I like and asked for something along those lines, ie lager, or Pilsner, he stammed for a minute looked back to the board and suggested the house ale, it was ok, but not my normal tastes.

My daughter had the tri tip sandwich and I tried the turkey burger. We also had the brussel sprouts appetizer and also set potatoe fries. The brussel sprouts were delicious. The fries were also really good. The tri tip was very tasty. The turkey burger had many flavors with the sauce and toppings. The burger was cooked well, but I didn't enjoy all the flavors. Overall we enjoyed eating lunch here.

This five star review is based on the happy hour bartender, the happy hour food and beer, because I have only been here at this hour. Delicious food; I was surprised at how good the tacos were, the tortilla was perfection, it was just the right size, warmed to perfection, the fish although not overflowing it was perfect with the diced aguacate, the tacos are worth trying and would come again just for the tacos. The bartender/waiter was attentive and has a sense of urgency that is enviable. Totally impressed by his attention to detail and ability to make everyone feel welcomed. Impressive. Parking, although parking is sometimes tough, I suggest taking the shuttle during the summer. I would definitely recommended and will add to my favorite places. *my first time siting at a table and I am a bit disappointed at the service, :( my order was wrong but the waiter never bothered to fix it. Spent 30 dollars on an order that was faulty :/

First rate chicken sandwich. Spicy!!! Friendly customer service from the staff in general. I'm a neighborhood visitor, so it's nice to feel at home with the staff, not only for tourists. Killer cold beer, all micros.

Great craft beer spot. Some of their own and some other local brews rom around the area. Recommend the Beach Cruiser Blonde on the lighter side and the Imp. Red Ale on the slightly darker side.

Came for breakfast to fuel up before a long walk along the beach. Eggs and sausage cooked perfectly. OJ freshly squeezed was sweet and lovely service from our server.. couldn't ask for a better morning 👍
