Yelp
My husband and I visited here yesterday for the first time and loved it. It was a nice change from the coral rock landscape of Fort Zach. We scoped out Higgs Beach first earlier in the morning, and it far outweighed the venue with the grassy wash and darker water washed ashore from the Atlantic that Higgs had.
Since her grand opening about a year and a half ago, this quaint little beach has developed a nice reputation around town.
This is a modest beach (about 80 feet wide), with a small boat launch to the right of the pier. The beach faces towards the western gulf side providing a nice view of water adventure groups, yachts and small water craft heading in and out of the harbor.
