I thought that a 5-star rating only happened when the owner rated its own establishment. However, I was wrong. This little coffee shop has many reviews and a perfect, well-deserved score. The house blend is medium toast with the flavor of something closer to dark roast; exquisite. The staff is very courteous and attentive. The site is clean, the espresso machine looks very clean, and the presentation is top notch with some type of latte art.

The real chocolate latte was delicious! You can tell they use real chocolate and the grated chocolate on top is a nice aesthetic and flavorful choice. Would be my go to spot if I lived here! My husband got the strawberry matcha latte which was also really good!!

Got their real strawberry matcha latte. It was amazing and refreshing. I think I will come back here again as the barista was very nice that she actually allowed me to customise my drink in the strawberry to actually add dark chocolate Matcha so recommend coming here!

Simpl Coffee is my go-to in the Financial District. ☕️ Always fresh, perfectly balanced, and never bitter. Fast service, great vibes, and the espresso is consistently excellent. Highly recommend!

had a double espresso that was exceptionally well executed — clean, balanced, and technically spot-on. There were no watery notes, no bitterness, and no signs of over- or under-extraction. I tried their light roast, which showed excellent clarity and structure, allowing the origin characteristics to come through nicely. The space is small and primarily designed for takeaway, with a clear focus on efficiency. One minor improvement opportunity, from my perspective: for drinks ordered “for here,” serving in ceramic cups instead of paper would elevate the overall experience.

A small place with excellent coffee. I enjoyed it so much that I came back the next day just to have their hot chocolate. Absolutely delicious you can really tell it’s made with high-quality chocolate. The staff clearly know a lot about coffee and take the time to ask several questions to make sure your drink is exactly how you like it. I highly recommend it. On the second day, we sat outside just people-watching, and the atmosphere was very pleasant, with good music and a relaxed vibe.

Small boutique coffee shop with 3 high chairs. It’s a unique set up, very quiet ambience. It uses paper cup for the coffee, that’s why I gave it a 4 star. Coffee tastes okay.

Delicious coffee and pastries! Simple menu, quick service, clean and cozy shop. Definitely recommend!
