Simply France Tours - Bike tours in Paris

Well if you can enjoy a bike tour even on a cold, rainy November morning it must be a good one. Paris is so much more bike friendly than our last bike tour 10 years ago. Climent was a fantastic guide - perfect English, friendly and highly knowledgeable. We visited places we would never have found on our own - which was exactly what we were looking for. Highly, highly recommended.

Excellent tour with guide. The bikes are Dutch style - Paris is flat so they work well. Three hours went quickly with plenty of stops and loads of information from the guide. They do different language tours so there's no gaps to translate for half the group. We did the Paris treasures tour which was a great introduction to Paris. Definitely recommended tour. Paris is full of cycle lanes now so you're separated from the traffic pretty much everywhere.

Fantastic trip with Lorenzo. He knew lots about the city, history, culture and geography. Fun to experience Paris from a bike!! Rideable bikes in decent condition, mostly flat, helmets available.

What a fantastic tour company - from our first contact with Jean-Luc, to the three wonderful hours spent with Lorenzo showing us around Paris, our group of 5 had a wonderful day exploring the nooks and crannies of Paris, learned some history of the city, and explored a wider range of sites than I would have thought possible. Lorenzo was very interesting in showing and explaining many of the historical parts of Paris, and did a great job of guiding our group through the streets of Paris, safely and confidently. Definitely the right way to learn more about Paris and find places to come back to and explore in more depth.

It was a great experience with amazing views of the city. We did the Nooks and Crannies tour and it was really nice to see some areas outside of the extremely touristy spots. Our tour guide was very helpful and kind and taught us a lot about French history!

We had a great time on our bike adventure with Paul/Pol. He had extensive knowledge about France and the history behind the locations. He brought so much more depth to the experience had we walked around on our own. The bike tour was a highlight of our trip to Paris.

Amazing bike tour through parts of Paris that we had not yet seen or experienced (after having been about 3–4 times) - this is the “Nooks and Crannies” tour. Interesting history of the city and country - but the guides are flexible and adapt the information they provide based on your interests or wishes. Ours contained a nice mix of history, some politics, urbanization, architecture, art and small facts about Paris (merci Clément!). They also speak different languages, almost fluently. I very much recommend this tour!

I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing two of the Paris Nooks and Crannies Bike Tours, one in 2022 and one this summer 2024. I had such a wonderful time on the first tour with friends that I had to bring my family back to share. Both guides were fun, knowledgeable, and made sure every single rider felt secure and confident. We navigated through Paris to so many off the beaten track places, but of course getting to the nooks and crannies we rode by all the big tourist spots, missing nothing. I would highly recommend this tour for any ability rider and lover of interesting history.

I cannot say enough good things about our family's experience on this tour. We're a family of four with two teenagers. We took their guided Paris bike tour on the 2d day of a 7 day trip. The timing was about right - one day to recover from the flight yet early enough in the trip that the orientation to the layout of the city and the information provided by our terrific tour guide Fredrick (Fred) added tremendous value to the rest of the trip. The bikes and helmets provided were very clean and in great shape. The ride lasted about 3 hours and totaled a little over 8 miles but it was at a very comfortable pace and it was broken up by frequent stops. All attendees should be confident bike riders. That said, the route predominantly follows dedicated bike lanes and I felt my family was very safe the whole time. One thing to consider - we went on a Sunday but Fredrick told us that there is actually less traffic when you take the tour during a weekday. Finally, if you can, schedule the tour with Fredrick. He is extremely knowledgeable, fluent in multiple languages, funny and his passion for Paris, its history, culture and people is infectious.
