This place is a hidden gem. It doesn’t have a massive storefront so could be easily missed from the street. Inside, there is a covered courtyard and a restaurant. It’s surrounded on three sides by small boutiques selling items from Costa Rica. In the courtyard there are also comfortable sofas and a play area. The food at the restaurant is fantastic. We tried the Casado and the grilled chicken, a house special, and the chicken was so good we ordered a second plate. The shops stock high quality items. My wife bought a linen skirt, a sofa cushion and was very impressed by the jewellery collection.

This place has the best Ceviche de Pejibaye that I’ve had in many years. The other food options were great. Has an extensive menu and serves brunch. It’s a combination of a store that sells products from local artists and a restaurant. The atmosphere is great since the restaurant seating is on the internal patio. Service was excellent. The place is beautiful since it’s an old house, but the only drawback is that it’s hard to find parking on the busy streets.

This place is amazing. I came here back in January for brunch. I got the eggs Benedict and added prosciutto. It was the best I've ever had. The mocha latte was amazing. The meal was so good, I came back the next day for the exact same meal. Check them out!

This is a hundred year old house. The rooms are display and sell clothes, jewellery, personal use stuff, bags and so much more. As you stroll through the rooms it transports you. The restaurant opens up in the courtyard. The ambiance continues. Do visit and it will call you back. The sesame sauce tuna, juice, coffee all delicious.

Don’t miss this one. I walk ~2 miles each morning to eat here and couldn’t be distracted by other breakfast/brunch spots. 🤤

Lovely restaurant and art/artisan shop attached together. Was so happy to find it open on Sundays and that they have vegetable milks. You sit in a lovely, covered outside space with eclectic chairs and lighting fixtures. I was into it. Also they have a take a book, leave a book shelf. Nice staff, lots of locals eating here (not just a touristy place), and chill vibe. I would definitely come back and eat here. Perfect for breakfast/brunch/lunch.
