I'm so glad we managed to find time on our holiday to come here! We were not disappointed we had the red bean mooncake and it was so good! I wish we had tasted the lotus but it had already sold out! I love how its still using the traditional method and these are all lovingly made by hand!

Visiting from Singapore. The chinese lady was very welcoming to my family. She even offered me and my kids to taste before buying. Old school bakery which is hard to find in Singapore. Brings back many childhood memories. The 马蹄酥 was very nice! Hope to visit this place again.

A very nice and old school bakery selling classic baked treats. Try the maltesers biscuits, tau sar piah, walnut cookies and other assorted goodies - service was friendly and the lady boss clearly takes pride in what the bakery has to offer. She recommended the best kind of baked products to bring back home - really a pleasure

In Search of Handmade Mooncakes #3
Sin Wah Bee, Kuala Lumpur
Our final stop, there were no mooncakes as they will only start making it at the end of the Chinese 7th month, over a period of 20 days prior to the Mid-Autumn Festival. We were treated to some Tar Sar Piah that they have baked earlier in the day and was being packed in the traditional rolled up paper wrapper.
We'll be back later in the month when they start baking their mooncakes.
