Singapore Indoor Stadium

Visited this stadium to watch a Super Junior concert. The venue isn’t too large, but the high ceiling makes the standing area feel spacious and not stuffy at all. Facilities like tap water stations and restrooms are well maintained, which really adds to the comfort. Overall, it was a very enjoyable concert experience here.

Came here for the Matt Rife Stay Golden tour. Doors opened at 630pm even though the show officially started at 8pm. When we parked at around 610pm, the carpark was almost full. After parking, we could hear announcements for the event over the PA system, which was useful. It's neat Kallang Wave Mall which is convenient for a meal before the show, though it was super crowded on a Saturday evening. The venue itself was good, entry was organized, the bag check was fast. You can't bring food or drinks inside, not even water, so we had to pour our water from our bottles. However, there were water dispensers inside to refill your bottles. We were in section 108 which was too the right of the stage, behind the performer. Section 109 would've been better.

Big and spacious. Acoustics not too bad for comedy show. Screens flanking the stage were nice and big. Orderly bag check and ticket scanning machines to enter. Section 108 row 12 view still ok, can see side of performer's face.

First ever concert here in the Indoor Stadium and it was for the 3P concert! Despite having worked here as a backstage crew previously and having unrestricted access, I have never sat on a higher floor nor experienced a concert here - which was a pretty good experience 👍🏻 the concert itself was great, aircon was cold, music and bass was good but not deafening. Definitely one to return for in future!

Yes - sound system is awesome.

Plus size spectators (4XL and above), take note the seats are SMALL. You could hardly fit into the seats that are as old as time. Your arms could be touching someone next to you too. Washrooms are new & pleasant. Some cubicle has bidet. Food variety are not much & place is not that cold that require a jacket. Overall its alright except the seats are small.

I attended Twice Concert 'This Is For' in Singapore for 2 nights last month 11 and 12 October at the Singapore Indoor Stadium! The concert venue was a different vibe from my time during TwiceLights In Singapore 2019! I can't believe I made it this far and I'm so proud that I stan Twice! I have no regrets on my latest adventure!

Super convenient venue! Lots of outdoor seating, water refill stations inside, and the whole place is clean and well managed. I was in North (L2), Section 229, Row 14, Seat 10 and the view was better than I expected! The sound quality was excellent and the AC kept the whole place comfortably cool. Would happily come back!

I've gone here to see Russell Peters perform, and most recently, Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour. Colour scheme wise, I find it a bit stale with it's grey interior and exterior. The bathrooms and lobby area are also nothing special. However, the sound system and stage are all in working order, and the venue itself can be transformed very easily. For Taylor Swift, she had a catwalk down the middle of the stage that was able to elevate itself and rotate mid-air. Pretty neat! This is a more intimate venue, with maximum capacity around 12,000 (vs 55,000 for the National Stadium) Getting here is pretty easy; most people will take the Circle Line to Stadium MRT. You can also take the bus, but it will be a bit of a walk. At least it's a nice walk past the National Stadium.

I've seen a number of acts here through the years... Suede, Elton John, Engelbert Humperdinck, the Cranberries. The Indoor Stadium is OK - it's got much better in recent years as the whole Kallang area now has more options for food and drink after / before your concert. You can just walk across the road to Kallang Leisure Park for a bite. Access-wise it is now easier to get here with public transport, now that the Circle Line stops here. The venue itself is large but quite mediocre . For instance, at the Elton John concert I had pretty good seats but the sound quality wasn't the best, compared to overseas venues such as Emirates Stadium. During the Suede concert, the hall was very empty and thus led also to a somewhat "weaker" vibe. The food and drinks available at the venue itself are exorbitantly overpriced (to be expected at any concert venue I suppose). However there is a real lack in range and there needs to be more alcohol options. I think free-standing options are much better than any seating options.

One and only closer place to home. It's the Singapore Indoor Stadium. I love it here! There's so much to do and can't waste every little precious moment/minute. Favorite place. Enjoy it here! Great memories. :)

Recent years, there is a sudden increase of new locations for concerts. However, I still feel that SIS is the best location to hold a concert. To the singers, it is considered a feat to have a sold out concert or concerts at SIS. The sound system had improved over the years and making the concert a more enjoyable experience by allowing sales of (very expensive) food and drinks. Of cos with opening of Stadium MRT station, transportation to and fro to SIS is well taken care. Not like in the past where people would leave the concert early to catch the last bus, or have to rush out once the concert ended so that can squeeze into the SBS buses.

I was here for WWE SEA event on July 2nd, I must say I'm really impressed with the stadium, the system is so organized, the seats are fine, the bathroom was clean. Good experience overall, make me want to come here again again if there's any show that I'm interested to watch!

The Singapore Indoor Stadium is one of the most popular event venues for sports, concerts and shows. It has hosted an array of sports and entertainment events, including international act Lady Gaga and regional acts such as Lee Hom and Korean boy band Big Bang. The venue features flexible stage configuration, and could seat up to over 10,000 people. The full capacity during sporting events is about 12,000. With the opening of the circle line, the venue has been much more accessible. I have attended several events at this venue and left with pretty pleasant experiences each time. The technical facilities are sufficient and good enough to support large scale music events. However, I think that this venue is a little small. It'd be ideal if it can expand a little more with higher ceilings so that it allows performers to bring in more 'special effects'. Also, leaving this place after a concert has always been pretty messy and troublesome as the passageway often gets congested pretty quickly. Then again, I guess that's pretty unavoidable!
