I highly recommend the Singapore River Cruise. The ticket price is only 28 SGD, which is very good value for money. You get to see the city from a different view, and it is very relaxing. My best advice is to visit at night time. During the day it can be hot, but at night the weather is nice and cool. Also, the city lights are stunning. Seeing Marina Bay Sands and the city skyline lit up in the dark is beautiful. It was the highlight of my trip.

Bought a walk up ticket from the Clarke Quay jetty for this 45 min bumboat cruise down to Marina Bay and back. Informative commentary from our guide who was quite a showman and character often grabbing phones for mirror image photos of scenery and couples. He certainly had a few stories to tell. The boats themselves are electric and quietly ply the river. A nice gentle way to float down the river and learn about the city.

🚢✨ Singapore Cruise Journey – An Unforgettable Experience on the Sea My Singapore cruise journey was nothing short of amazing and memorable. From the moment I stepped onboard, everything felt grand and well-organized. The cruise was beautifully designed with luxurious interiors, spacious decks, and countless facilities that made the experience truly special. There was so much to do — from enjoying world-class dining with multiple cuisines to experiencing live entertainment shows, music, and cultural performances. The food options were fantastic, offering both international flavors and vegetarian-friendly meals. During the day, I loved relaxing on the open deck with endless ocean views, and at night the ship came alive with lights, music, and performances. There were also swimming pools, shopping areas, game zones, and lounges, making it perfect for families, siblings, friends and solo travelers alike. What I enjoyed most was the feeling of being in the middle of the ocean — peaceful, refreshing, and yet full of adventure with so many activities to choose from. The staff was friendly, and the service was excellent, making the entire journey smooth and comfortable. ✅ Highlights of the Cruise: • Luxurious interiors and well-maintained facilities. • Wide variety of food and drinks. • Live shows, entertainment, and cultural performances. • Relaxing ocean views from the deck. • Perfect for family, friends, or even solo trips. ✨ Overall: I enjoyed the Singapore cruise journey a lot — it was the perfect blend of relaxation, entertainment, and luxury at sea. It’s an experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Singapore and looking for something truly unforgettable. ⸻ ✨ Review by @the_solo_wanderer_ For more soulful journeys and untold stories, search me on Instagram 🌿📸

• 🚤 Relaxing boat ride – a peaceful way to explore the city from the water. • 🌆 Scenic landmarks – passes Clarke Quay, Boat Quay, Marina Bay Sands, and the Merlion. • 🎧 Engaging commentary – shares the history of Singapore in a simple and interesting way. • 📸 Great photo opportunities – especially beautiful at night with the illuminated skyline. • ⚠️ A bit short for the price – enjoyable but feels like it ends too quickly.

Taking a Singapore River Cruise at sunset is an experience that blends city sophistication with a touch of magic. As the sky shifts from golden hues to deep twilight, the boat glides gently past some of the city’s most iconic landmarks—each one transforming in the changing light. Starting from Clarke Quay, the brightly lit, pastel-colored waterfront immediately sets a festive tone. The quayside is buzzing with life, and from the water, the canopy-covered restaurants and historic warehouses now turned into nightlife spots offer a lively contrast to the serenity of the river itself. Booking a cruise just before sunset allows you to catch the golden reflections on Marina Bay Sands’ towers—a shimmering display that photos can only partly capture. Drifting along, the route unfolds like a curated tour of Singapore’s architectural diversity. The statuesque Fullerton Hotel, with its neoclassical grandeur, commands attention as it lights up in the evening glow. Nearby, the Merlion fountain delivers its signature spray, backed by a skyline that gradually illuminates with office lights and high-rise reflections. The scene becomes cinematic as the sun sets and the city skyline—towers bearing names like CapitaLand, Maybank, and OUE—takes on a crisp silhouette against the warm sky. Passing under historic bridges and alongside Boat Quay and Marina Bay, the cruise offers a layered narrative of Singapore’s past and present. Skyscrapers rise behind rows of preserved shophouses, and modern art venues like the lotus-shaped ArtScience Museum mark the city’s cultural ambition. The boats themselves, modeled after traditional bumboats, feel sturdy and nostalgic, with open sides that invite the breeze. The commentary provides a light touch of historical context, but it’s the visual journey that really captivates. If there’s one tip, it’s this: time your ride to start about 20–30 minutes before sunset. That way, you catch both the golden hour and the city’s shift into night mode, with reflections dancing in the river and the lights gradually coming alive. It’s not just a touristy boat ride—it’s a scenic immersion into Singapore’s identity, told through water, architecture, and light.

It was a beautiful experience at the Singapore River Cruise today. We all had so much fun. The boat ride so informative, the recorded guide told us so much about the river, the people who eesises there before they were relocated. The river cleaned before it became a tourist site. On the boat ride we saw a lot of restaurants, the financial hub,the statue of the half lion, half fish that brings water out of its mouth, We also saw the Fullerton hotel. We could also see the Marina Bay Sands hotel. I enjoyed every bit of the ride and would recommend it to every one visiting Singapore. It's a sure place to visit.
