Visited on a Sunday afternoon as a group of six. Despite the café being busy, the service was fast, friendly, and well-organised. Most of the food was very good — I ordered the Stornoway (black pudding, poached eggs, Hollandaise sauce, and toasted sourdough). It was enjoyable overall, but the eggs were overcooked, with firm yolks instead of the runny ones you’d expect.
One thing to note is the 10% service charge automatically added to the bill. I’m not usually a fan of that approach, though in this case the service did justify it — assuming, of course, the charge goes directly to the staff.
