We had a wonderful meal at Sing-Ma Restaurant, which specialises in Singaporean and Malaysian cuisine. The food tasted authentic and well-prepared, a treat for anyone craving the flavours of Southeast Asia. The dishes we tried — Pork Fried Rice with Egg, Chicken Fried Rice with Egg, Fried Chicken Kuey Teow, and Dumpling Soup — were all delicious. The wok-fried items had that unmistakable “wok hey” aroma and flavour, which is the hallmark of truly well-cooked stir-fry. Ingredients were fresh, portions generous, and seasoning balanced. The dumpling soup was also hearty and comforting, with juicy dumplings in a light, savoury broth. Service was friendly, efficient, and welcoming, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. If you’re in Kathmandu and missing home-style Singapore or Malaysian food, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

It was such a blessing to find good Singaporean comfort food in Kathmandu! When you visit, you must try the Nasi Lemak Rendang, Roast Pork Noodle, Spicy Chicken Wanton or any salted egg yolk dish. We were so happy that we got to try their freshly-made soya milk and range of cheesecakes too!

This is a small cozy eatery with their name meaning Sing-aporean and Ma-laysian cuisine. The food was good but not the very best of the flavors. I’ve found places with better taste here in Lalitpur itself. The service is quite good, it’s quick and responsive. The place is quiet with different seating options. The price is also a little bit on the higher side given the quantity and taste. Didn’t try their cheesecake but it’s quite popular too. Overall, it’s a good eatery to explore.

Singma Restaurant offers an authentic blend of Singaporean and Malaysian flavors, making it a go-to spot for those looking to explore these vibrant cuisines in Kathmandu. The ambiance is casual and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and quick to assist, often offering helpful recommendations. I tried the Teh Tarik, which was a delightful twist on tea and stood out for its creamy texture and flavor. Next, I ordered the Cha Siu Bao, which leaned towards the sweeter side. While it was decent, it wasn’t served piping hot, giving the impression that it had been reheated. The Golden Fragrant Prawn was a highlight for me, with sweet and spicy notes elevated by aromatic curry leaves. The Boiled Bok Choy with Braised Mushrooms provided a refreshing balance to a protein-heavy meal, although I wasn’t a big fan of the sauce. The Fried Chicken Kuey Teow was a bit salty and oily, but the spicy, flavorful sauce transformed it into a standout dish. To end the meal, I had the Triple-Layered Cheesecake, a heavenly combination of coffee, white, and dark chocolate—an absolute must-try! 🍽️: ☕ Teh Tarik, 🥟 Cha Siu Bao, 🦐 Golden Fragrant Prawn, 🥬 Boiled Bok Choy with Braised Mushrooms, 🍜 Fried Chicken Kuey Teow, 🍰 Triple-Layered Cheesecake 📍: Singma Restaurant, Pulchowk 💰: 150, 330, 550, 320, 385, 355 ⭐: 4, 2.5, 4, 3, 3.5, 4

With plenty of seating arrangements for a couple to a party. Singma has lots on its menu Among which I tried their Cheesecake (baked blueberry) which was delicious. Along with it I tried egg onion roti with curry which was decent enough. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The menu has a little story of the restaurant which was nice. The place has a soothing environment.
