Sino House Phuket Hotel

I had a truly wonderful experience staying at Sino House Hotel in Phuket, and it easily became one of the most memorable properties of our trip. What immediately stands out about this hotel is its beautiful Sino-Portuguese architectural style. The aesthetic charm of the property is simply delightful. It has a heritage feel that reflects the cultural character of Phuket Town, yet the interiors are extremely comfortable and thoughtfully maintained. The rooms are exceptionally spacious, much larger than what you typically find in many hotels today. The layout is well designed, very comfortable, and gives you a feeling of openness that makes the stay even more relaxing. However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the staff. In all the properties we stayed in during our time in Phuket, this hotel had the most courteous, warm, and genuinely helpful team. Every single staff member we interacted with was smiling, attentive, and always ready to assist in any possible way. That level of hospitality truly makes a difference and leaves a lasting impression. The location is also very convenient. There is a 7-Eleven right across the street, which makes quick errands very easy, and the hotel is well positioned for exploring the charming streets of old Phuket Town. Overall, the property has a wonderful charm, is very well maintained, and offers excellent value with large comfortable rooms, beautiful architecture, and outstanding service. It was genuinely a pleasure staying here, and I would highly recommend Sino House to anyone visiting Phuket who appreciates character, comfort, and exceptional hospitality. A truly lovely experience.

We had a great time staying at Sino House.The apartment was very clean, which is very important to us. Room service came every day — cleaning the room, making the beds, changing the towels, and providing fresh water and snacks. The staff was nice and polite.The location is perfect, as it is close to the Old Town, within walking distance of the main streets, and there is also a 7-Eleven store literally across the street. We would definitely recommend this place. :)

Great location. Here is the trick about this hotel. Some rooms are renovated, some are not. Get an executive room and stay on the 4th floor. These rooms are really nice. I got a deluxe room, the furnitures were old. Then changed my room to an executive one and wow such a big difference.

We booked a Deluxe room, got room 406. It was spacious and clean. It has 2 Smart TVs with access to YouTube, Prime etc., one TV in bedroom and one TV in living room. There's a dining table and a microwave also. 7/11 is across the hotel so you can eat late night foods in the room. They provide steel spoon, fork and soup bowls too in this room. There's elevator also in the hotel. The reception desk and room cleaning staff are also friendly. Drawbacks: The water doens't get very hot for bathing, but just warm enough. Also the mirror in the bathroom is not over the wash basin, it's on a side wall so it becomes very inconvenient to shave etc.

Ok the staff were very friendly and approachable one staff member went above and beyond with his kindness I think his name was suong. His shifts started at 2pm he was amazing,kind and helpful. The location was perfect walking distance to main streets like Thalang Rd only 6 minute walk. The hotel grounds were clean and kept tidy. We had two rooms 217 and 218 both rooms were large. But the bathrooms were full of mould. I did not want to shower in this room. I wore thongs in shower and slipped over I was only trying to avoid the mould. The other room we booked was the same.Ok the bedding underlay on the bed in room 217 was disgusting it was stained like really stained as per photos. Normally we would not check but both rooms had a fold out lounge, which my mum slept in the bed and my daughter slept on lounge sofa lounge we asked for bedding linen for this but they said no as they did not have enough. So the next day we asked again they gave us a sheet and said we needed to pay for the cleaning of sheet. I told them the room is advertised as a queen bed and a sofa bed. They agreed on sheet only without charge. So my mum used towels to put over her as underlay was wrong in so many ways . This is why I gave the room a one star.

Stayed for ~4 nights. Good location, close to local shops and a nice walk away to the main "Old Town". Across the road is a 7/11 and a 24/7 laundromat. Big and comfortable rooms. Had some issues with the cleanliness, and our shower drained very slowly in the beginning of the trip. Reception staff ranged from very friendly and helpful to friendly. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi did not work during the duration of our trip, but was assured by reception that the technician had confirmed it was working (It was not. It was also an open network) - From the looks of past reviews, it seems like this is an on-going issue for this hotel. Not sure if it's an issue with coverage or connectivity, but we were on the third floor and received unreliable and patchy connections and had to rely on data our entire stay. Good value 3 star hotel.

Very good Old style/retro rooms but very well maintained. Big spacious rooms with 2 sinks, a table and lounge Chair. Large windows overlooking large rain trees making you feel at home. Highly recommended and will stay again. Walking distance to all the action but still quite because tucked away.

Old style hotel and close the to main old town phuket market place. Location is very convenient and close to 7/11, laundromat and pharmacy. Rooms were big and clean. Breakfast is fixed and has to be ordered a day before.
