Hurry before the rest of the world discovers this place! Fantastic food, served expertly by Nina (our fearless server who took care of my birthday dinner with skill and nerve!), in a gorgeously appointed restaurant. The full bar does not disappoint, and we kept the bartender busy with multiple sangria orders. The charcuterie board is a must, along with the shrimp appetizer. For dinner, I had a perfectly grilled churrasco steak, and my wife had the short rib which was also amazing and tender. In short, everything is delicious, and Nina will take good care of you, so hurry up and get in here before it becomes too popular.

WORST EXPERIENCE. I think I actually got robbed in broad daylight. What didn't go wrong with this experience. The waitress knew nothing about the menu and when asked questions had to go to someone else to verify. We went through THREE item suggestions that had pork, I denied them and let her know I DO NOT eat pork and what does she do? She brought me an appetizer with a big slab of pork on it. When I told them I can't eat that the restaurant removed it and brought the same plate back out to me . Not even a newly prepared plate, you could literally see the pork juices and dent from the meat still in the food. They then tried to convince me that I had to have it because they couldn't take it off the bill. Next issue was I asked for my steak MEDIUM and they gave me a well done steak with cold fries. I can't make this up people. This was a really bad experience and to make it worse I get the bill and I see that the math is wrong on the mandatory gratuity. When I asked about it she said she didn't understand and there is nothing she can do. I see why the place is always empty . I came here for a nice lunch and got nothing but problems the entire time. Proceed with caution . Waitress's name rhymes with Pamila .

We loved this place! The music and atmosphere is great and you can bring your children as well! It’s just perfect for a couple time or to go with the whole family anytime! The food really was good. And also they have amazing artisanal drinks! The owner celebrated my birthday in a very special way. He took the initiative to make it special. Thank you!!

We had such a great time at Sins Gastrobar! We came to see Dianela de la Portilla perform live, and her energy on stage — along with Ariel on the saxophone — was absolutely electric. Such a talented duo! Nina, our server, was incredible — super kind, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of. Emmanuel, the owner, was also very friendly and welcoming. You can really feel the love and intention behind this place. Can’t wait to come back!

From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for an unforgettable meal. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every detail of our dining experience was just right. Awesome spot! We went at 5pm on a Thursday so it wasn’t yet full of folks but what a beautiful ambiance! Perfect for a date night or night out with friends. The drinks were delicious and the food was cooked to perfection. I drank the Señorita on 2nd Ave and the Orgasmika! So good! They even added small boba balls 👌🏽 The service was also great. The owner, Emmanuel, checked on us just enough times and made sure we had everything we needed. He told us live music takes place on Fridays and Saturdays so I’d definitely return on one of those days when I visit again.

Great location for happy hour any day of the week (Monday- Friday 4-7 at the bar). Easy to find parking, not crowded and nice looking bar - restaurant with good music and ambiance. Have yet to have dinner there but had the tostones rellenos appetizer and it was so tasty to have not just the ceviche, but also seaweed salad. Good service t the bar.

Fun little Gasto pub. The cocktails were great; albeit very slow. It took about 10-13 minutes for our cocktails to be prepared (not exaggerating) after ordering. Perhaps just seemed like an eternity when you're looking forward to a cocktail. We also got the charcuterie board. This was hit and miss. The cured meats were good, the crackers were mixed and the black olives were pickled (not our tastebuds I guess). The service, while super friendly, was overall a bit slow and they weren't that busy. Overall, not bad, not amazing to us.

Friday night after long day of work this is the place to go. The indoor/outdoor vibes is nice and they even had a live band that was setting the mood. I had a black linguini pasta that was a little average so not sure if I would go back for food but my drink was definitely delicious. The bartenders was fun and and flirty and gave me a whole show while making my drink.

The pork belly bites and hallucination shrimp are a MUST! First time here, and definitely impressed- will be back as soon as I possibly can! Service was attentive and the vibes of the entire restaurant are spectacular. Fabulous cocktails, great music, and quality food.

So, my friend Nick who's a regular took me here the other week and we had such a fabulous time!! I had the mushroom risotto and he had the seafood risotto and we had two cocktails. The Tamarind cocktail is absolutely to die for it is definitely going to be my go to now! The service here was on point- very friendly and well dressed servers, and the restaurant itself is gorgeous! I did not go on the night where they do live performances, but next time I go, I would love to experience that as I could only imagine it adds onto the already vibrant ambience , but nonetheless, I highly highly recommend this place for quality, seafood, and experience. You will not be disappointed. You must come here if you're in the area!!!!

Before I begin my review, I want to say that we were impressed and loved this new restaurant! The vibe is that of being one with nature, foliage, and bright flowers. Yesterday we decided to try a new restaurant in Miami Shores, which is a growing area. Sins opened about 4 months ago and already has a very good rating. That says a lot to me. They must be good. We were cordially welcomed at the front door by Valentina, who also was our server. She is very outgoing and efficient. It was fun to get to know her. The menu has so many good dishes on.it, but we decided to try one of their lunch specials. It is $25 per person and includes an appetizer, entrée and dessert. We both picked the same thing: the Short Ribs with mashed potatoes, the Cassava fritters, and the Carrot Cake with ice cream. It was filling and delicious! All of the choices sounded good. I must mention that the service was above expectations here. It was definitely high-end treatment. Fast, efficient, friendly, and impressive! They all are great at team work. I can't wait to go back. If you like to party, then the night to be there is Friday nite from 7:30 pm until closing. Live music, pop, hip, rock, soft, etc. Parking was on the street, and we found a spot right in front of the restaurant. The restaurant features double doors, so it has wheelchair accessibility.

I definitely will need to give this place another try. Saw some great reviews but it wasn't what I expected... Came on a Sunday for brunch (because you know, sundayfunday), no live music like they advertised or entertainment, and they did not have orange juice so they weren't offering the unlimited mimosas (which was perfectly fine because who uses oJ in their mimosa anyway!). Well apparently, Sundays are dead so they moved the live music to Saturdays when the parties seem to be happening. Then I asked about serving just Prosecco and some kind of juice on the side to satisfy the "mimosa" requirement. I wasn't given a no, so I went with it, but ended up getting charged for each glass (boo). Food was delicious and great portions! But very limited on brunch options. if you want something to share, they don't have apps on the brunch menu but you CAN order and app from the dinner menu. I recommend the empanadas and the oh so mouth yummy pork belly's! Their cocktails and bar selection is great as well! Overall, for two people, the bill came out to about 150 and that's with 5 rounds of Prosecco and 4 rounds of margarita. So NOT bad! was just hoping for more of an up beat setting to keep me around longer. They need to update their flyers and add apps to the brunch menu, but other than that, I will definitely be coming back on a Saturday to give it another go. I think, i'll have a much better experince. might even change my rating.

Ambiance was excellent. Food was "expensive but good" (quoting my husband). Who said he would definitely return. Food was delicious. Service was great. There was a live singer which was the icing on the night. It's so pleasant to have live music while you eat. Overall loved it!

I've visited Sins Gastrobar a few times now. The staff are very friendly and professional along with the food which is freshly prepared and very tasty. The cocktails were excellent. Very impressed with the ambiance. They also have live music for brunch's on Sundays which I enjoyed very much. I will continue to recommend my family and friends.

Go here for the drinks.but not the food or service s. Service was pretty poor. I had ordered a drink and it didn't get delivered with others at my table and our waiter looked at me and asked if I was going to order a drink. When I told him I thought I did he was able to name what I order. Then afterwards it took forever still to get my drink. The food was not very good. We order the chicken appetizers and one of them wasn't fully cooked. Ended up ordering the burger which tasted a little burnt. Son had the lamb and said it was too charred and had stomach issues afterwards. Daughter had black linguine which she said had no flavor. She took it to go but never ended up eating it. Husband had tuna tar tar. I would maybe come here for drinks and sit at the bar. Atmosphere was nice. Service was poor. Food was below average.

Went here for a date night. The live music was great. The ambiance is wonderful but the service and food are mediocre at best. The restaurant wasn't busy. They had maybe 5 tables, tons of servers, so why did it take 15 minutes before we were even asked if we wanted water. We ordered the pork belly bites which were cold and the sauce was thick and inedible. We also ordered the dirty artichoke which had no flavor. We won't be returning. It's a shame because it's local and close enough to walk to but it's not worth it.

Love the vibe at this restaurant. Decoration is gorgeous. Definitely a hidden gem!!! Porkbelly bites, tuna tartare and the scallops and shrimp gnocchi are fire. Service was great! Lay is the best! We loved her. Definitely coming back again soon!!!

New ownership has been a disappointment. We ordered a dish based on the menu description, which stated it included guacamole, steak, and cheese. What we received was completely different. When we inquired about the discrepancy, we were told--through a messenger, not the owner--that the menu contained an error and we'd have to pay extra for the dish as advertised. This kind of leadership is unacceptable. The owner didn't even take the time to address the issue personally, leaving the staff to handle a situation that clearly needed management's attention. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. Poor customer service and lack of accountability show it's in the wrong hands. If you're running a restaurant, you address mistakes directly and take care of your customers--this owner failed at both.

One of the best things about living in Miami Shores is being able to enjoy wonderful places just a few steps from home. Sins is definitely one of those places, a restaurant you can come to every day and not get bored. From the appetizers, to the main dishes and ending with the desserts, everything is a must try. And of course you have to try the cocktails!!! A great spot to come with your partner, your family or a good group of friends.

The service was quick. I had the lunch special, which included the prefixed 3 course meal. This is a great special and priced well. I chose the chef special for my appetizer, which was a corn soup. It was tasty but strong on the sodium side. Then I chose a Latin bowl with beef. I choose well done, and it was delicious! The meat was tender, black beans flavorful, and rice cooked perfectly. For dessert I had the banana pudding. The pudding was moist, not sticky, and the ice cream tasted similar to homemade ice cream. The decor in the restaurant sets a relaxed mood and the wine selection looked plenty. My server was knowledgeable and offered her favorites, which I was grateful for, because I also purchased carry out from their dinner menus. For take out, I ordered the short ribs and mashed potatoes. The serving size was small, but the food was good. They have a great option for brunch and events. I would definitely check this location out again for their brunch and other events when I am back in town.

GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, and GREAT AMBIANCE you absolutely must try this place if you're in the area I can't recommend this restaurant enough. From the outside it doesn't look like a restaurant at all so walking in I was really surprised and impressed by the beautiful decor and ambiance of this restaurant. From the green plants and wooden lamps that hang from the ceiling, to the rich dark wood tone tables and tropical seat cushions, yellow table cloths, twinkling lights by the wine racks, and the beautiful carved wood cocktail bar this restaurant is truly a beautiful place to sit in and enjoy the ambiance. The restaurant truly was done very well, lots of little attention to details, that give the place such an interesting tranquility to it we really enjoyed it. Our server Suzie was absolutely amazing as well. It was our first time coming in and she was so sweet and full of energy and made great menu recommendations. We honestly barely looked at the menu - what Suzie recommended we ordered. Everything she recommended was absolutely spot on and unbelievably delicious. We started the night off with her favorite drink the orgasmika which not only looked really good but tasted really good as well. It was made with vodka, hibiscus and mango, and aromatic bitters and it was absolutely perfect for our evening. It was not too strong, very refreshing, and had just a touch of sweetness to it very good. Our drink was followed by the dirty artichokes and the salmon tartare. The artichokes were good but the salmon tartare was out of this world good and fresh and it was absolutely delicious. One of the BEST tartare dishes I think I've ever had truly... Next we ordered the slow cooked short rib (another wonderful Suzie recommendation) and it was so good. The meat was so soft and tender and it was served with puréed potatoes and an absolutely delicious red wine sauce. One of the best dishes I've had in a long time - wow - I would come back just for this plate it was so good... Our entire meal was really nice Suzie let us sit and talk and take our time ordering food, trying different things, and eating our way through the menu slowly enjoying the company of each other at the table. We really got to enjoy each bite and enjoy the beautiful tranquility of the restaurant. For desert we tried the molten lava cake which wasn't very fancy or interesting but it was the perfect way to end our meal with a little bite of something sweet and chocolatey. This restaurant and dining experience has truly made it as one of my top favorites for Miami. Everything - and I mean everything - that we ordered was just right and done perfectly. Truly we were wowed by our experience.

Everything went well, from the food, the drinks and the excellent service, from all the waiters and even the owner who kindly answer a question as he was passing by. Our waiter Camila was very nice and always attentive to us. The decoration of the place is very original and simple at the same time. I definitely recommend it and will come back.

If you are looking for bad service to be a part of your dining experience then this is the place to go. Honestly, it was far too comical to be here. So where do I begin? At first glance, you are immediately enamored by the ambience. It has a cool vibe, bar, and even live music (a bit too loud but not bad)! So of course, it being our first time and just looking around for a cool little spot we thought we found a little gem. Little did we know, that the service would determine the fate of this cute little spot. 1st it was very noticeable that the servers and orders were not being communicated correctly and were very unorganized and would have these discussions in front of us the customers. They got our drink orders wrong, then they got our appetizer order wrong. We had the tuna tar tar but ordered the salmon (stupidly) we ate it thinking the seasoning made the salmon taste like tuna. Until the server/manager guy came up to us with the actual salmon tartar! We were like uhhh we already ate this one and we don't want to get charged for both. I digress, another error made in their ordering system and disorganization. The mushroom risotto not bad, the burger not bad, and the ceviche not bad but that was not aji Amarillo. However, the grilled chicken breast horrible. The taste, the texture, and even the smell of that chicken still haunts me. It was horrible. But wait! Our waitress, sits down and starts modeling for marketing pictures so we have to flag down anyone else. All awhile the server/potential manager looking dude is noticeable talking crap about us because we returned the chicken and asked for the burger. Overall, it was a terrible experience coming here. Food is below average and service is well ...needs some tight work. Last but not least, the bill. They tried to charge us for the chicken that we returned and the tuna tar tar that was $10 more than what we ordered. Of course we disputed and reasonably so they removed the charges. Thank you for ruining our parents night out.

I had brunch here on Saturday July 22 with my wife and a couple of her colleagues and everything from the service (shout out to Valentina), to the ambiance and the food was stellar! We started at the bar while we waited for our party. I had the Pride Flight, which consisted of several different gin shots prepared with subtle essences like watermelon and lavender. The gin was smooth and the combinations creative. If you're a gin person, definitely try this! Later on I had the habanero margarita and it shocks your socks off without leaving any signs of the burn! Absolutely recommend! My wife had the Lost City Holy Scribe on tap, which she really enjoyed and someone else tried the Guava Cotton Drop, which is a really fun drink to watch them pour! (Too sweet for me but the recipient loved it.) Once everyone arrived and we moved to a table the gustatory adventure began! The aoili they bring with the thin, crisp breadsticks to start is the best I've ever had, creamy (not oily) and flavorful but not overly garlicky. I had the Latin Tower, which is literally a tower (short) of fried ripe plaintain, steak, avocado, provolone (usually they serve it w/ mozzarella but they were out), pico de gallo and pickled onions topped w/ hollandaise sauce. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the plantains were sweet but not overly ripe and the hollandaise sauce did not overpower the dish. My only warning is that between the avocado, pico, & pickled onions, it does tend to cool the dish down so if you like your food piping hot, you may want to choose a different entree. I also tried my wife's The Queen, a fried arepa w/ shredded chicken in a secret sauce along with avocado and a poached egg. It was an explosive combination of flavors and the arepa maintained it's shape without drying out. Delicious. My wife's colleagues had the Broken Eggs and one of the Benedicts although I forget which one. They both reported loving their food with no complaints. We finished off w/ an order of churros, which were a little crisp for my taste but still overall good flavor. We spent @ $65 per person, which included 2 drinks each and desert along with a generous tip so I consider it to be one of the better bargains in South Florida, especially when you take into account the quality of the food and the wonderful ambiance.

7-1-23 Noon Met a dear friend of mine here for lunch. Since she lives in Miami I had her chose. Being we both work ie worked in the industry I knew she would pick someplace fabulous. Well she exceeded my expectations and driving up to get free street parking out front was the cherry on top. They open at noon on Saturday's so we were essentially the first ones here. Note most locals live on Miami time so that means you won't see a soul until several hours later. My friend got a table towards the back against their see through wine cellar. You order still by QR code so my friend pulled the menu up on her phone and me on the online version. We come to find out the online version they didn't update yet and certain items were no longer available. To start we had cocktails myself the lemon drop vodka martini with cotton candy. I skipped the additional added flavor as I figured it would over power the Lemon drop flavor. It was delicious and believe me one drink hit me hard. My friend got the Moscow mule with added passion fruit. We shared all the food and we ordered plenty. To start they have very thin bread sticks on the table with a dipping sauce that was delicious. My friend chose the grilled octopus on corn my favorite and I got the hallucinations shrimps. The shrimp came with very thin slightly toasted bread and was in a sauce with fresh sliced mushrooms and plenty of sliced garlic. If you are ladies that lunch and don't eat much you can stop there. Haha we proceeded to order short ribs that were so tender they fell off the bone into the creamiest of mashed potatoes. Also got the mushroom risotto. Surprise surprise we couldn't even make a dent so I gladly took these home with me. The service was very good and the atmosphere transports you to a far away place like you are on holiday even for a few hours. Definitely would run back here. They literally make everything served absolutely perfect. Also our server Suzanne C told us they had just opened slightly before Covid started.

I loved this place. Tried several drinks off of their happy hour menu, and they were all delicious Decent selection of $8.00 priced happy hour drinks. Their hh menu was not as decently priced but delicious just as well. We enjoyed everything we ordered, pao buns, guacamole, chicharones, filled tostones, and more. We were a bit surprised to find we had spent over $200.00 on a happy hour for 4 adults, but I suppose that's par for the course nowadays. Their love to try this place for dinner menu looked good if not slightly overpriced. Service was excellent from everyone we dealt with. Nice sidewalk seating and fun ambiance inside making you feel like you're in a remote jungle Congratulations to the owners!

Oh, I really liked this place! The food was absolutely delicious. We had the yuca stuffed with pulled pork, tuna, in some kind of teriyaki, and I think it was a short rib with mashed potato. All the dishes were very flavorful. I will say that I think the tuna had too much teriyaki sauce, which was a bit overwhelming. But, otherwise, the food was great. Also, they just started a happy hour, and the drinks are really really good. The service was also great. The staff is super friendly and personable!

This is one of the most undiscovered, under-appreciated places in all of Miami. The decor, the food, and the service are impeccable. The value received is rare in Miami... affordable prices for insanely delicious, generous, and beautifully prepared dishes. Live music on weekend evenings from talented duos always provides a fun and lively backdrop to the cuddling couples at the stylish bar area. This used to be the ultimate neighborhood bar for good food and good vibes but lately the food, drinks and service have all been mediocre. Yes, it's a great location if you live in the area and don't want to go far but the last few times I have left wanting more. Most recently I went for happy hour and shocked to see there are no happy hour prices as the food was still approx $18. It took forever to get the food which was shocking because the place was pretty empty. The ambience and decor is nice but it's definitely not somewhere I would frequent.

Esthetics and ambiance is great. The food is amazing the nachos are a must. Chef Adriana not only knows how to cook but is a great host.

The food and service are outstanding. We ordered the gnocchi and prime picanha and it was the perfect amount of food to share between two. Both plates were savory and filling. If you are looking for a great spot in the Miami shores area, this is the place to go. The venue and ambiance transport you to Mexico. Chichi was our waitress, we loved her, very attentive and knowledgeable. Definitely coming back again.

The food was great! We got the gnocchis and picanha. It was a perfect combination. The server (Chichi) gave us the best service and attention. The ambience and music is great.

The food was delicious! I went to this spot for happy hour and immediately you're drawn in. The style and decor is great. Huge bar in the middle so definitely very exciting. Great happy hour bites. Chips and guac/croquettes/crab cakes with tostones. All delicious. Flavors were on point. Drinks were awesome. Definitely go for the margarita haha but careful. They're so tasty you'll just keep them coming! Service was great. Friendly and quick. Our waitress, Sarai, was very sweet and helpful. I went a couple of times for a drink and some small plates. I had wine by the glass and to be honest it was not nice at all. I tasted my wife's cocktail and it was ok. Small plates are small indeed and in my opinion unimaginative. Overall I think it's overpriced. Service was rude, hasting us to please free the table... However and despite all this, the ambiance is fun and the vibe is this Miami shores laid back yet sophisticated atmosphere. I recommend for an happy hour if you are local. If not, you have better options out there

Decided to give this place a try on a Saturday night. I had some fries from here before with a drink during brunch, which was fine, but wanted to try some of their main dishes. We started with the Proveleta cheese app which was really good! Gooey cheese and a tomato sauce with bread it always a good idea. For drinks, a glass of Chardonnay for me and the whiskey cocktail for my partner. The drinks were fine and we were excited to get our mains. I got the Gluttony Burger and my partner got the salmon risotto. I asked for my burger to be medium and it came out well done, bummer! I was too hungry to ask for it to be exchanged. My partner felt the risotto was just "okay". Honestly this man will eat anything so I was shocked. I tried a bit of it and it was super bland. Tastes very fishy as well. I mean I get it because of the salmon but it was overwhelming. We decided to not try dessert this time. For the price point and the disappointment, I'm not sure I'll be back unless it's Happy Hour.

The pork belly bites was amazing, I had skirt steak with salad and the steak was delicious and cooked just right. My boyfriend had skirt steak with sautéed veggies. The service was great and the atmosphere was exquisite. They had a live band, the guitarist and singer was very entertaining.

I loved the ambience and the atmosphere.! The food was delicious and our sever Gladys was on top of everything especially down to the the apps and the entrees everything was so perfect and yummy tasting Gladys let us know of all the wood fired ovens that slow cooked all steaks to a purfect finish. We had the linguine with shrimp with the hallucination shrimp ! Soo yummy and exploding with flavors the gnocchi was delicious had our mouths watering and just an overall pleasant and fulfilling experience. Will be coming back to share this wonderful restaurant with my friends and family ! I forgot to add the hostess had amazing service she was very attentive and pleasant even when we where finished with our food she checked back to make sure everything was perfect and she definitely needs a raise if she doesn't have one already thank you for the amazing hospitality

Sunday Bruch is amazing!! Get the Dirty eggs Benedict with pulled pork‼ we also had the Broken Eggs, which features prosciutto and big chunks of potato. It was good but the prosciutto was overkill. The dirty eggs Benedict was definitely five star. Excellent service as always... And the live music was pretty epic - May 7, 2023
