Sint Eustatius or Statia is a small beautiful leeward island and part of the Caribbean Netherlands. For those how look for a holiday off the beaten track and admire nature,hiking, explore the underwater world or visit the tiny rain forest in side the crater whether it's for birds spotting or just absorb the calm atmosphere, this is spot on. For those who are interested in history, you will not be disappointed in this island with a long history and its pittoresque town centre. Lots of ruins to explore on Lower town from those days of the pirates of the Caribbean. Statians are very friendly and welcoming people, crime rate is practically zero.Many more things to say but best is to explore it yourself.

A small island in the Caribbean that is under Dutch Authority. About 4000 inhabitants occupy this little island. It might be small but with Snorkeling, The Quill (Extinct Volcano) Hike, The Botanical garden, Hiking trails around the island. They also have wonderful places to stay on island such as... Gin House Hotel, Country Inn, Oranjebaai Hotel and Knippenga. When it comes to food and places to eat, the Island is stacked with great restaurants such as Whale tails restaurant, Cool corner, Blue bead restaurant, Boardwalk cafe and Gin House restaurant just to name a little few. On Sint Eustatius they drive on the right side of the road, use American Dollars is the currency widely used on the island. Carnival time is July and it is normally thee most liveliest time on the island with plenty of shows and artist performing with tons and tons of food for sale in the Carnival Village on a nightly bases and also during the day you can get local cuisines, soups and many more.
