The exterior piece of “sculpture” adjoining the side of the church is quite something, the idea was to bring ‘Jerusalem’ to the faithful in Antwerp. The garden is worth asking the guides about. The inside is ornate from the row of confessionals to the pulpit, with many works of art on the walls.

Maintenance work was on one side of the church, but still such beautiful wood work and a very well maintained church with a beautiful holy service during easter..a beautiful experience of the holy communion and baptism together

The most stunning church I have ever seen. Absolutely incredible inside, with the combination of white, black and gold. Worth visiting! Don’t miss the garden, it is also a beautiful place to see

Absolutely beautiful church. The wood carvings are detailed and exquisite, the ceilings are high, the organ is massive, and there is a very peaceful calm atmosphere although it is a large building.
The sculpture garden outside is unique and interesting!
Hardly any other visitors even though it was a weekend.
Paid 5 euros for entry as a foreigner - very much worth it!

This is a uniquie church with the Calvary garden and paintings of Rubens and Van Dyck. The employees provide professional explanation and give many details behind the paintings.
I visited many churches but this is an unforgettable experience.
