Siolim House

Shivali and her lovely polite and ever vigilant team, made us feel so welcomed and relaxed in this shabby chic style boutique 10 roomed hotel, with a nice breakfast and snack and salad menu. Perfect for a short restful break on your tour of Goa, the swimming pool is a real highlight as it is quite large for such a small venue. Laid back, but very close to excellent array of high end restaurants, fabulous beaches and about 90 minutes drive to the airport. Overall an overly place to stay!

The building is over 300 years old. The rooms are large and have antique furniture and the entire vibe is around the age of the building, with the quite spaces adding to the tranquility. The have a beautiful courtyard with a well, which is an experience in itself. They also have a small pool which is good for a soak but not large enough for a workout. They have some seating around the pool and a gandola as well. There is a small massage room with a single bed. It's a must stay if you're a history lover, else the location can be better

We recently spent 6 nights here for some relaxation after travelling elsewhere in India. The property is the epitome of the phrase “Heritage boutique hotel”. The team are really friendly and helpful with any requests. The food is excellent.

This is a listed heritage hotel with lots of charm and character. These attributes are true, and I am not here to dispute them. However, it should be noted that the renovation was completed nearly 30 years ago. For us, it is tired, not well-maintained, and inadequate to meet the needs of modern travellers.||The filtered water bottles were dirty, and that summed it all up, really. We actually had to go to Hosa Goa nearby and beg for clean water bottles just to survive the night.||The food is limited, so it is best to dine out if you stay for any period of time. For this amount of money, I would expect a lot more.

I stayed at Siolim House with my partner for three nights as part of our two week trip in India. The difference between the hot, dusty streets outside and the cool, serene interior of Siolim House couldn’t have been greater. The love and care that have gone into restoring this heritage property are evident, and the staff feel like a family. ||Siolim is a great base from which to head either North or South, and Lindsay the manager and his wonderful team were always happy to help with excellent recommendations for tours, restaurants, beaches etc. They can even book a massage therapist to come and pummel you at the end of a hard day relaxing. ||Overall, the place is so lovely that you may find you want to spend more time than you planned chilling in the hotel rather than exploring the charms of Goa!

This hotel is the one we will remember most fondly from our trip to Goa, from its charm and calm, to the friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable beds and great breakfasts and afternoon tea!

this year we stayed at Siolim House for 3 nights, at the family suite on our annual trip to Goa. The stay, the service and the warmth of the staff was truly exceptional, led by the very knowledgeable Lindsay. the check-in /check-out process was smooth, the rooms has an old-world charm while still having all the necessary modern amenities. |Breakfast - which has a limited menu, with its local cheese, poiee, honey and other such items is enjoyable.

Lindsay, Shivali, Makam, and the team at Siolim House were brilliant. It is a Beautifully restored heritage hotel. |Lindsay was informative and helpful and arranged everything from restaurants to cabs and gave great recommendations on our itinerary each day.
