The into thing u would change here is the lighting - I don't get the blue lighting it makes it spooky. The food is SO good and SO fresh - the staff seems sad , or just tired I'm not sure. What a great kosher restaurant & their schnitzel salad is SO good

It was great. The food was insanely good! We had the lamb and burgers and allbthe meat was beautifully seasoned and perfectly cooked. The laffa bread is made inhouse and was also fantastic. Plus everything was very reasonably priced, a really pleasant surprise. Great atmosphere. Waiters were great. I advise people to come!

A great middle eastern kosher restaurant. I had the shawarma on pita and the tahini sauce was great. My wife had the burger and said it was one of the best she’s ever had. We also tried the lagman soup which was hearty and had a nice spicy kick. To top it off we had delicious chocolate lava cake. Great restaurant and service, we highly recommend.

We love Sip and Sizzle. One of the best new kosher places on the upper east side. Highly recommend the Lagman soup, it’s out of this world. Plus the mushroom hummus. Boris the owner is fabulous. A must try spot!!

We booked a private party for Sunday afternoon. Everything was perfect, food was delicious, service attentive, great decor. We brought our own dj, and with 50 people we still had room for a dance floor. We are familiar with the cuisine and everything was absolutely delicious. We had lots of salads to start (babaganoush was my personal favorite), then plov, potatoes with mushrooms, shish kebab, followed by fruit platters. The kids table had schnitzel, hot dogs, and French fries. Everyone left with bellies full and happy.

Everything was amazing! Humongous portions and great sides. I got the steak pargiya. Absolutely incredible. Servers were very attentive and brought us all sorts of amazing sauces. Would absolutely return.

Absolutely amazing food. Dinner party of nine people and everyone enjoyed their dish tremendously. Excellent service especially from Borris.

I am responding to the owners response on my friend (Ariellas) comment. Attached is the receipt showing the Sizzle Burger AND shnitzel sandwich. Normally I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I don’t like how we were accused falsely by the owners response. The shnitzel, cucumbers, and tomato in the shnitzel sandwich were completely frozen. The dumplings and meat cigars tasted like they came straight out of the microwave. The couscous with meat was cold. Our stomachs were also not in a good place the day after. The waiters were the most inexperienced I’ve ever come across. They also didn’t know the menu whatsoever. They told us the ribs would come with sauce, on the contrary, they were super dry. They didn’t know that the water bottle we asked for 3 times had to be opened with a beer opener. We really appreciate the offer to come again but I think we’re okay. Best of luck!
