Had a lovely time at SIP! The space is cozy, clean, and inviting — perfect for a relaxed coffee break. The atmosphere is calm and the interior is beautifully put together. The staff were super kind and welcoming. As for the coffee: not bad at all! Enjoyable and well presented. Would happily come back again. ☕🙂

Easy to notice location, everything fine, very welcome for tourists. We take a break before continuing the trip to Bordeaux Cathedral. Good coffee anyway.

I recently visited SIP Coffee Bar in Bordeaux and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The atmosphere was delightful, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance. I enjoyed a very delicious breakfast, with a yummy stack of pancakes, 2 eggs + bacon, and a very good V60 coffee.☕️ It was all perfect.👌🏻😋

Lovely and sweet people here. Excellent cappuccino and fresh pan au chocolate. Would recommend! Nice place to cowork but avoid during lunch if it is busy but they are very kind and understanding. Will be back

Lovely place to sit and relax for a bit, however, please be aware no laptops are allowed on weekends and they don’t have decaf. We ordered two dirty chai lattes with oat milk (but I’m not sure they were made with oat milk, and weren’t to our taste), got set up to do some writing for an hour or two, and about 20 mins later told we weren’t allowed laptops out (despite the place being half empty and there was plenty of seating for other customers to come in and eat, which we were told was the reason for the new rule). Despite the disappointment, the staff were very friendly.

Absolutely thrilled to have found another coffee shop that has matcha. The cashier was very kind and explained the difference between the matcha frappé and the Japanese iced coffee which I appreciated. There's wifi and a restroom as well as ample space. They also have cakes and cookies and from what I saw on the menu they also have breakfast. If you need a break from Bordeaux's small, Dixie cup sized coffee servings come here and get your matcha/coffee fix. I do however need to dock a whole star because the barista said I wasn't allowed to use my laptop indoors after midday even after I paid for a drink. What kind of rule is this? Newsflash: people go to coffeeshops to get work done too not just drink coffee and leave. Sorry SIP but this rule will impact your business.

Came in for Cappuccinos and breakfast. We had the Scarlet Eggs (scramble-eggs with lox). Both were excellent. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. The had a lot of choices for food. I highly recommend.

Very good coffee shop with an Australian flavor. You won't find the typical french pastries there but they have a delicious banana bread. I'm not a coffee drinker but my friend said their flat white was great. The interior is very nice and it seems like a really good place to have a meeting or work for a little while.

Thank god for SIP. We'd had pretty bad coffee so far in France but were able to get a nice latte and a single origin V60 pourover. Plus their banana bread and brioche were great as well. Worth a trip out of your way if you're looking for good coffee.

Great place to hangout and get some coffee or tea. Had a late breakfast here. The granola was yummy and the other breakfasts look amazing. Lots of seating and good WiFi. The person at the register was able to speak English. Check this place out.

A nice place to have a tea or a coffe during the day time, or a beer in the evening. Deserts are tasty, however the prices are a bit higher than what I would expect. Nice music and decoration as well.

Let's get this straight: Good and great selection of coffee (I could finally get a flat white in Bordeaux), tasty cakes, nice lounge music and in general a great atmosphere. Although prices are rather expensive compared to other cafés (cake roughly between 3-3.70€; coffee 3.50-4.50€), I'd still say it is worth the money. But, unfortunately I've had a strongly unsatisfying experience there: Although it is a working atmosphere with power plugs at the tables and several people sitting there working, they don't like it if you stay too long. Recently, I was there for doing some office work, after 1.5hrs (ironically enough: just about when I wanted to order another cup of coffee and a piece of cake) I was given the full speech - in front of all other customers - even was called "a kid" and explained that this was no library etc. Well, being in the end of my 20's, I truely felt offended. Don't get me wrong: It is totally okay to expect your customers to order in a coffee but it is nevertheless not at all acceptable to become rude at the very first point. Instead, like any café owner, one could say something like "Would you like to order something?". Imaging sitting there reading a good book and then being told off like this. Nowadays it is all about the customer experience which is why I am only giving 2 stars. Nevertheless, because of the quality of the drinks, I'd still recommend this place for having a cup of coffee during e.g. shopping.

Very cute coffee shop with a yummy Cappuccino. There is extra seating upstairs which is nice. The staff seem very friendly. Nice place for homework or to grab a nice midday cafe. Will definitely be back.
