21 Best Things to Do in The Bahamas

"Sip Sip — local slang for “gossip” — was a go-to lunch spot overlooking the pink-sand beaches of Harbour Island. The family-owned joint closed after a long run serving fresh Bahamian fare, but the tradition lives on at a Sip Sip location at Marina Village at Atlantis. Order the world-famous lobster quesadilla — it’s the best $45 you’ll ever spend on a quesadilla." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Service was very slow. There was only one bartender which barely came over to us. Ordered buffalo wings, chicken Caesar salad and hummus. Food was pretty good.

During our stay at Atlantis, this was one of our favorite places to eat. The food was cooked perfectly, fish was very fresh, packed with flavor and did not disappoint. Our server Bianca was by far the best server we had during our trip. She was extremely efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. She informed us how the food was prepared at Sip Sip and went above and beyond. Bianca made our experience and would highly recommend this restaurant!

The lobster quesadilla was AMAZING! So good I had to go back and get it two more times! The drinks are strong and the food/drinks are fairly priced and well worth. Definitely a must have if you are staying at or near Atlantis.

From the moment I stepped into Sip Sip in Nassau, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Nedra and Manager Wendy went above and beyond to ensure every visit was a delightful experience. Their kindness, attentiveness, and open-minded approach created a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Not only did they remember my favorite dishes, but they also made sure I had all the extra jalapeños and limes I love. It’s the little touches and thoughtful gestures like these that truly set them apart. The service was consistently top-notch, and I always left with a smile. I’ll miss you, Nedra and Wendy! Thank you for making my time at Sip Sip so special. I can’t wait to return!

This is a great spot with excellent service. Wendy the manager was exceptional. She spent extra time with our party and made my daughter Lexi feel extra special. Wendy was warm hearted, offered advice on the Island and things to do and see, and even treated my kids to an ice cream from nearby Baskin Robbins. Wendy is the absolute best, thank you.

We ate here two nights in row - it was that good! Wendy took wonderful care of us (best server on the island in our opinion). She was so kind. ALSO their signature Passion Fruit Sangria was hands down the BEST drink I had on our whole vacation!!!!

Fun spot in the Marina by the water, pretty friendly. But, food is key and they really missed the mark here. I was super excited for their "specialty" Lobster Quesadilla, and I couldn't have been more disappointed. Luke warm at best, burnt tortilla as you can see but with a SOFT (yes, soft; not crispy) texture, and despite the two cheeses it was very mild in cheese flavor. Last, the lobster itself didn't taste particularly fresh. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire thing didn't come prepackaged and just gets heated up there in a microwave. The pub burger was pretty good, though we ordered medium rare and basically got well done. Still, a decent burger. BOTH dishes overpriced ($25/burger, $32/lobster quesadilla) for quality to be like this. OH and to top if off, we were there right after open. Only 3 other parties were there. 2 of the 3 had issue with their food as well (one felt the walnuts in the overpriced tuna dish were stale; the other had two orders of the same lobster quesadilla and had it cold).

Sip Sip was the first place we ate on Paradise Island. We were tired from traveling and wanted something good to eat. We wasn’t greeted, but was able to find a unclean table outside to sit. Not a good experience. Finally, we ordered the Conch Nachos, which was delicious. This place looks really nice, but our service wasn’t good at all. The waitress Shandese apparently was over worked and to my opinion she was not having a good day, and it definitely showed.
