The best coffee shop in the greater Sarasota area. The food, service, ambiance, and most importantly - coffee - are all done to perfection. Every time I come to Longboat - I have to go to SIPS at least 3-4 times. The owners are wonderful and go above and beyond for their customers. I’m so glad to see it weathered through the hurricanes.

Stopped for coffee and a pastry on the way to Cortez Beach a couple of miles south. The coffee was good and the banana bread was very good. The breakfast and lunch menu looks interesting. There is seating inside and outside. Plenty of parking. The cafe is in the back area of this strip mall. Not easy to see.

Our favorite pet-friendly lunch AND specialty coffee stop in Longboat. Close to Coquina Beach park. We loved it so much, we came three days in a row. Access by shallow draft boat or kayak in the back. Shaded patios in front and back. Such friendly staff!

Sips Coffee is a charming spot with great coffee and a cozy atmosphere. I had the cinnamon maple 🍁 iced Latte (it was perfect 👌). The staff is welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend Sips for anyone looking for great coffee, sweets, and a relaxing vibe on Longboat Key.

Good location, spare atmosphere/deco outdoor seating by canal. Extensive (did I say expensive?) drink, smoothies, juices, baked goods. Paid up $15.75 for a mango smoothie served to me a good 25 minutes after I paid.

BEST AVOCADO TOAST IN THE WORLD. Super tasty and just perfect. In the back, they have a super aesthetic and calming patio area overlooking a mangrove stream with little tables, a ton of plants, and just an overall nice feel. Staff is friendly, cheerful, and welcoming. 10000000/10 recommend!

Such a cute little coffee shop! They allow all the cutie doggos and it’s got an awesome vibe with plants and music! There is indoor and outdoor seating. It’s owned by the sweetest little family and the coffee, food, and açaí bowls are sooo good! They have great choices and I would highly recommend visiting if you can! Love it and can’t wait to come back ♥️♥️

Love this spot! Delicious coffee and great beach chill vibes ! I walked in for a quick coffee on our way to Bradenton. What a treat to stop here ! Longboat key is unique because there's water on both sides of the area so you'll always have a nice view! When I walked in, the cool colors of the coffee shop made me feel cozy, like I wish I could stay longer and just relax with a book! I ordered a few lattes and a delicious natural juice for my toddler. I also grabbed a few locally baked chocolate chip cookies. All the ingredients were delicious and some locally grown! Lattes were exactly what I wanted ! After I placed my order with the gal(who was sooooo patient with me by the way!) I walked to the pick up area. Wow!! The patio area was so nice! There were plants, chairs, and a waterfront view. I stepped out for a bit to check it out. Man I wish I had time to stay! This will definitely be my spot when I come to Longboat key!

Cute place for coffee and a quick breakfast. They have lots of different coffees and lates. Avocado toast was filling.

This place is adorable! They have tons of options - juices, lattes, smoothies, pieces of coffee cake as big as your head... you name it. I'm normally pretty basic when it comes to coffee, but I was feeling crazy and ordered the maple cinnamon latte, one of the seasonal options and it was SO good!! And it wasn't overly sweet which I appreciated. Although they were busy, Lorenzo managed to whip out all of the drinks in no time at all.

The service was amazing here - everyone was so kind and welcoming!! The food also was amazing. Everyone in my party enjoyed what they got! To drink we got the cold brew's with oat milk and different syrups ! Super good! Also an iced chai latte with almond milk was ordered and it was so delicious!!! The environment was super chill and relaxing as well. Very pretty plants and decor were everywhere!!! Definitely coming back soon!!!

Awesome coffee shop with a really chill vibe! Their Bumblebee Latte slaps hard! Would definitely be back. I took off a star due to waiting over 25 minutes for 2 coffees. To be fair they were busy making several acai bowls and food for several people who ordered before us so they were multitasking big time which I applaud. However, I feel like there could've been a better system with someone on coffees and someone else on food prep. Just a recommendation to try and cut down on some of the very long wait times for those who just want coffee and no food. I was not the only one who was just waiting on coffee and no food.

I loved the oat lavender matcha latte it was delicious, the avocado toast was the best I've ever tried and the service was amazing, very kind employees with great customer service. The shop looked very cute and plantsy inside, will come back while I'm in Florida

The customer service was impeccable. From the start great conversation, to during the service everyone was extremely accommodating and afterwards all smiles from everyone on site. The food and coffee were both dynamic. As well as the ambiance. Every plant and chair strategically placed for great atmosphere. Can't recommend it enough!

Brand new coffeehouse on LBK! just had their grand opening. Small, quaint coffee house. Serves light breakfast, baked goods, smoothies- and of course coffee! Vegan: gluten free options.they have about 4 tables inside to sit and multiple outside under roof- or in sun. They offer drip or pour over coffee... and great smoothies. The service is friendly- place is adorable. Glad they are here!

Very nice place! Fantastic couple runs the place. Avocado toast was wonderful, pastry very tasty. Relaxing back patio area. Would recommend to get the morning started.

Wonderful little spot on the north end of Longboat. We've needed a quality high end coffee/tea/juice spot like this, and I'm so glad they're here! Staff was friendly and funny, drinks were all great!! Bravo!

I honestly can't stop reviewing this place. Every time I come in I am more amazed than the last time and I'm learning more and more. This hidden gem is in my opinion going to blow up the LBK. Hidden in the back center of the shopping plaza is Sips. The owners who are originally from Atlanta decided to follow a long time dream of theirs and they took the leap of faith and opened up "Sips" for someone who travels and is a coffee connoisseur they definitely know what they are doing. But we all know it's not just about the coffee. We have to be honest it's the owners. Justina is always smiling she is a natural high of excitement. My friend commented on her smile and happiness makes him happy. But let's not leave Chris out of this. Chris is the barista master who's always coming up with new concoctions. He actually introduced me to the pour over without the paper filter and let me tell you my taste buds. Yelled at me for always using paper. The metal filter opens up the flavor of the bean and the roast. You can smell the notes as you begin the sip of coffee. So your thinning, ok you've told me about the coffee and the owners but is this it? No that isn't just it. Sips is more. They offer a wide variety of gluten free and vegan bakery items from a small bakery out of California. They also have breakfast and lunch sandwiches and let me tell you. The inner fat kid in me could sit down and enjoy every single sandwich. Justina (I hope that's right) is like a mom making her little children lunch. When Chris tells her about the order she gets excited. She has pride in what she is about to make and her love pours out into the art of creating the sandwiches. With each layer and spread of the pesto she's made the most delightful Heather sandwich. Don't stop with the Heather the Croissant Sammy and the avocado toast as well as the roaster are all perfectly constructed. The art and love is seen in these items. Don't take my word for it look at the pictures and order one yourself. Don't worry after you get over how amazing it looks you will devour the food and want more. I am sad I'm only here for 3 weeks. But I will enjoy them every day I'm here.

The blueberry muffin and coffee are phenomenal and well priced for the island! Make sure to try the Lorenzo Raspberry Mocha Latte!

Wonderful spot. The owner was working and was very helpful with what to order. I had the americano, my wife had the Oreo cold brew. Fantastic! Breakfast burrito and croissants were delicious. We loved it and will be back.

We all look for that one coffee shop that has a balance of good coffee, good pastries, is cozy, and a friendly staff. Well look no further! It also has one of the best backyard views of any coffee shop in the area.

I had an excellent cappuccino and tried a really good chocolate muffin that had some sort of fruit in it. I thought the muffin was interesting and a great balance of sweetness. My sisters had a great matcha and unique, but fresh mint iced latte. Would recommend for anyone looking for coffee and pastries, although we thought the sandwiches available were pretty mediocre.

This coffee shop was not only so cute but the food and coffee honestly blew me away. Vibes were good. The egg scramble, açaí bowl, and latte were so yum. Service was solid as well. 10/10 recommend!!

My husband and I both got an acai bowl today and it was delicious! It's the best one I've ever had. The service was wonderful They got it to us quickly and we sat outside by the water and enjoyed our delicious lunch! Will definitely be back. Do yourself a favor and go there.

HIDDEN LBK JEWEL As a fellow coffee enthusiast, I was excited to try this new shop in my area. The coffee was fresh, aromatic and contained subtle tones of chocolate, caramel, and was very smooth. Chris and Justina are the owners and they were personable, passionate, and clearly in love with what they do. They were some of the most down to earth and humble owners I have ever encountered. The shops interior design was efficient with a minimalist approach and an open floor layout brewing up conversations and laughter. The shop also offers an incredible outdoor patio overlooking a serene canal. Would recommend this shop to anyone and will be a supporter and customer at Sips in the future. In my opinion, best coffee shop on AMI by a long shot.

Have been staying on LBK for the week and happened upon this little shop. Excellent service and had a nice chat with Chris, the owner. Coffee was good as was the apple cinnamon muffin. Highly recommend.

Such an impressive spot - best quiche and avocado toast I've ever eaten in my life! We stumbled upon Sips and will be back anytime we are in Longboat Key. The coffee and food were outstanding and the atmosphere is so awesome!

Cute, hip coffee and espresso shop. Definitely fills a barista gap in LBK! I've been vacationing in the area for years and have always missed a consistent, legit urban-style coffee shop. This hits all the marks! My iced oat latte was delicious. Owners were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

It's a diamond in a sea of garnets. The staff is 5 stars. Coffees are off the chart with French press , pour overs and cappuccino/ lattes. Why go to Starbucks. They also have bake goods and avocado toast. We make Sips our breakfast go to in Longboat Key.

Great coffee. Really nice people that really appreciate your business. Everyone of their breakfast items on toast are great. The Nutella strawberry toast is unbelievable. The smoothies are tremendous. Stop by and try you will not be disappointed.

I loved the couple who runs this cafe! They're very amiable! Their outside seating area faces a saltwater body of water, so relaxing! I will say that their lattes could use some more flavoring. I got a butterscotch latte and could hardly tell it apart with my sisters caramel latte or my brothers vanilla latte. Next time I will simply ask for more flavoring. Amazing place though

New coffee shop with 1st rate pour over coffee, fantastic smoothie and engaging couple who are owners and servers. Gluten free options in addition to nice selection of pastries. Also opens at 7 so if you need a coffee fix this is a great place to get it.

the best Super greens fresh juice I ever had! great new place!!! I will need to come back here every day! I just overheard a woman saying the Chai is fantastic too :)
