I absolutely loved the flair here. The plastic plates and table covers were details I genuinely appreciated. It made me feel like I was back home in Guatemala, where you find the best food in the simplest and most unexpected places. I imagine it is similar in Thailand. I really respect that they don’t serve Pad Thai; it shows that Thai cuisine is so much bigger. Be advised: the food is spicy and coriander is a must, but the flavor combinations and textures will surely blow your mind. The owners are super nice and work hands-on during service. At one point, the staff asked to retire our empty dishes, but we said no because there was still a bit of sauce on them! We ordered more sticky rice instead to wipe the plates clean :) Depending on how much you order, dinner can get pricey, but it is worth every penny. Don't expect a high-end fine dining experience; it is actually better than that, without the added fuzz. I recommend building your own "tasting menu" by ordering multiple dishes to share. It's the best way to taste the most while keeping your wallet healthy. Note: Definitely book a table in advance, as it is always very busy!

Such a hidden gem in Vienna! Sipsong Bar is more than just a bar , it’s a warm, family-owned place with a super charming atmosphere. The whole team was incredibly sweet and welcoming, you really feel the love behind what they do. The food was delicious, but what truly caught me were the cocktails – creative, well-balanced, and absolutely on point! Every detail, from the decor to the lighting, felt personal and artsy. Highly recommend if you’re into good vibes, handcrafted drinks, and that cozy living room meets exotic art gallery kind of feel. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing Thai restaurant in Vienna ! Leaving in Thailand for more than 12 years, it s the best Thai restaurant I have been to outside the country without any doubt. The food is just so beautifully prepared and the taste is fantastic. They also have homemade Thai sake which is very original and great for aperitif. Service is just as perfect as the food. Delicious food and cocktails. We got a table in the back room so atmosphere wasn’t great. But highly recommend the food and drinks.

I have to admit that my expectations were not very high after reading some of the previous comments regarding the cramped seating situation and food being exceptionally spicy. BUT, let me tell you, we had a fantastic dining experience- from the warm welcome, to the great recommendations when it comes to the food selection, to the cosy/casual atmosphere, great drinks, etc It has to be mentioned that some of the previous comments relate to the former location which was also nearby - the newer location is far more spacious. Still a lot of seating for the space, very intimate and can get for sure a bit louder when full. Food - FANTASTIC. Best advice - ask for their recommendation, also when it comes to the spice level and the concept is based on sharing dishes. Portions are not too big - try at least 3-4 dishes, I would say. We had a absolutely amazing dinner experiences at Sipsong and enjoyed our little window seat - absolute recommendation!!

Amazing flavours, chicken wings was a very fun apprtiser! Balance the wholesome meals - like the trout & chicken thigh curry with the fresh vibrant salads. Portions are quite nice and food is generally well priced. Really lovely overall. Delicious Sato & a great natural wine list, too. Extensive menu, so we are excited to come back & try more dishes!

Piano and Jan are amazing hosts that will give you the most authentic Thai food experience you can get in Vienna. My favorites are the red chicken curry with roti, the Ceviche, the drunken noodles and I love a couple of glasses of Sato to round it up. And don’t forget to have a look at the cocktail menu 10/10

The food is amazing! Context: I used to live in Thailand and Cambodia. Some improvements could be made regarding the drinks. The flavor was sometimes a bit weird. And the atmosphere, I'm very sorry, is totally off. Nothing like at Mamamon. Finally, weird that a restaurant doesn't offer card payment.
