STAY OUT!!!Bad service, you're going to pay more than you think, they don't clean ever(probably last decade last time),wlan not working, very noisy all night. The whole room, bedding and towels were disgusting nearly furry, full of hair stained and it looked like someone shaved their body hair through the whole room bedding and towels. It smelled funny was like a oven without ac. and under the bed there was like dust dirt etc in big layers. It was the worst start to galapagos.

This hotel is located right next to “restaurant row” which is a street with many dining options and geared mostly toward the tourists. The hotel A/C and Wi-Fi worked well and I had a comfortable night here. There is a motion sensor hall light that shines into the room through the top windows and some noise as they walk by. It gets quiet after 10:00 so not too much of an inconvenience. Staff helped me with bus arrangements. There is an upstairs lounge area that overlooks the street and would be a nice spot to visit with friends.

Location is very good. Close to port, restaurants and shops. The room had good a/c and comfortable bed. TV did not work but that was ok with us. The hotel itself was fine as a 2.5 star rating hotel. The room was spacious and bright, the bathroom was dark and in need of TLC.. The most difficult issue was our room and the hallways were covered with little wall lizards. That made it difficult to sleep expecting them to drop on your head. I love the little creatures, but not in my bed! The front desk management was quiet poor except for the one young man who tried to help get the lizards out of the room). The general manager was very rude and sour when you asked for anything. No late checkout allowed. Courtesy bathroom offered was disgusting and unusable, not even for a quick pee!! Super dirty and filled with mosquitos and bugs. Tried to be fair and balanced to the establishment in this review, but we would not stay here again. Lots of better places to choose from for same price point.

This is the perfect place for your Galapagos adventure home base! The owner was so kind and went out of her way to accommodate us. The rooms were clean, well maintained during our stay, and the location can't be beat! We walked to the docks, the Darwin Center, and Tortuga Bay from here. There are so many food options are right outside the lobby door. I cannot recommend this one enough!

The innkeeper was so inhospitable. She was ridiculous in fact. A glass fell and broke while I was in the kitchen and she made me go up the street to buy a replacement. There is mold in the shower and the bed is very uncomfortable. The whole room smells like raw sewage. Don’t stay here no matter what.

Basic rooms. Hot water takes time to get to room but exists. Very close to malecon and equidistant between Tortuga bay and the Darwin center

The place was way below our expectations despite Lonely Planet recommendations. Small crammed rooms facing a busy street, ancient towels, dysfunctional plugs and lamps, no hot water, and low cleanliness standards. To make it even worse, it was rather pricey. We were planning to stay 5 nights and left after the first night.

Really nice owner who works hard to keep the hotel clean. I was not happy with the fact that the cleaning woman said she only worked until 10 am so banged on the door before 8 am each morning, even after I asked not to be disturbed. Was able to get a better rate in person than on line. We had a nice balcony with a view of the volcanic rocks. Good location. If you want basic and clean, this is a good option.
