I can't remember if I'd ever eaten here before, so I was interested in trying a new place for lunch but was disappointed when I saw the menu. I found a lot of it to be your standard bar food and I had heard it wasn't very good, either. Nothing on the menu jumped out at me, but I was happy to hear that the special of the day was a club wrap and house salad or fries for $10. I thought it was a very reasonable price and usually you can't go wrong with a club sandwich, so I ordered it with the salad, balsamic dressing on the side, and a glass of white wine sangria.
The sandwich came in a reddish-coloured tortilla, which I'm assuming was sundried tomato, and had a good amount of chicken and bacon, which really made the whole wrap. It had less mayo in it than most restaurants add, which is actually my preference and I quite enjoyed. The salad was a garden salad and the dressing wasn't too oily or sour - there was quite a bit given on the side and I only ended up using less than half. The sangria was good, and though refreshing, tasted more like juice than anything. I ended up getting the grapefruit radler beer they had afterward, which I may have liked better. The service was fine out on the patio for a group as large as ours - it look some time to get her attention for another drink and the cheque, but that was to be expected. All in all, it was okay, but nothing special and I wouldn't choose to eat here over the other restaurants in the area, especially with the menu items at regular price.
