As a local, I have visited the Botanical Garden many times and I am always impressed by its grandeur. The layout is perfect for a fully immersive experience, making it a great place to relax and take a moment. The variety of plants and trees is amazing, and the giant water lilies are definitely the stars of the garden. The giant climbing monsters also make their presence known on the trees. It is a garden worth seeing.
Entry price: Local – Rs 25, Non-Resident – Rs 300.
You can hire a guide on site for Rs 75 per person, which is worth it. Some spots have been a bit neglected, but it doesn’t really affect the experience. I wasn’t a fan of the deer pen, as the animals looked miserable.
Leave a good 2 hours to complete the tour.
Don’t forget mosquito spray, it can get serious there
