Good place for a little 2 hour trip when you're in north Mauritius anyway. The park is big, but not huge and some areas could be kept a little better. Overall, it looks very nice and there's a lot of very impressive flora to see. We VERY much disliked the animal enclosures. The deer and tortoise very obviously were put in way to small areas and didn't enjoy their life. For us, the botanical garden would have sufficed without animal cruelty on display. For the price per person it's absolutely fine for a nice walk and to take some pictures.

We spent 2 hours at the park and covered most things. A variety of beautiful flowers, plants and trees. Map of the gardens is clear and easy to follow. There are some deers and tortoise as well. Worth visiting and it is free.

Nice overall day at the botanical gardens. Easy access and parking to the site. A lot to see on the premises. Would of loved the Giant Lillys to be big and full as seen online.

I went to visit it in October, so guessing there are better periods of the year for the visit and find it in the better edition. Had a parck guide which was very educative, however he/she will not pass all the parck with you, so be ready for some extra exploration by your self.

Peaceful and Relaxing A calm, well-kept garden perfect for a quiet stroll. Our baby had a great time exploring. We took some great photos. A lovely break from the beach scene!

A peaceful escape filled with giant water lilies, exotic plants, and centuries-old trees. Our little one loved spotting the turtles and fish, while we enjoyed the calm walks and learning about the unique flora.

The park is an excellent experience, has a lot of attractions, and doesn't require too much effort for kids (around 2 hours). Even though there are splendid areas, if you cover the whole park you will see areas with less maintenance, and missing paths (information signs.

Nice place to visit, especially if you’re staying nearby. It has some lovely features like a pond with beautiful leaves floating on the surface, giving it a calm and serene atmosphere. There are giant tortoises and deer, you can only pass by and look at them no close interaction. Overall, it’s a pleasant garden to walk through and enjoy the nature, but if it’s more than 1.5 to 2 hours away from your hotel, it might not be worth the long trip. Entry cost 300 rupees
