The hotel is lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel has spa facilities a restaurant and a bar. It has sun beds and its own little pebble beach with a dock for boat transfers to the port. The water is clearer on this side of the island as well. The room is nice and light filled. The bed is comfortable, there is a pillow menu if you desire and the towels are soft and fluffy. The breakfast is very good, lots of options from fruits and yogurts to pastries and cakes fresh honey sliced meats coffees and juices.

Very bad experience.restaurant service had an attitude most of the time, very very small menu, if your order something from the beach menu and you’re in the restaurant you have to go order in the beach then come to eat in the restaurant table. no Greek food, no chairs in the small pool for little kids so I have to sit down in the floor by the tree and very nosy staff and make you feel no welcome to the American people. This is not a 5 start hotel. Not at all I’m sorry.

This peaceful hotel is a paradise on the pearl of the small island of Poros. The whole experience is 5-star, from the food to the accommodation. The food in the restaurant is based on Mediterranean cuisine and it's excellent. The beach is private and can be reached by elevator, and the sea is crystal blue and warm (in September). There are many sports activities around the hotel. The rooftop bar is amazing, but I recommend the cafe between the pool and the beach for a morning coffee among the greenery.

There is no doubt that the Sirene Blue has a nice location, but, it is too far from Poros to be considered - in Poros. An 8 minute taxi ride outside Poros. The property is a renovated older property with rather tight accommodation, constrained by the older design of the property. Cleanliness is low on the list of priorities. Dust on ledges are missed by the Crew. In common areas the situation is repeated. Bar Staff, when not busy should pay attention to cleanliness - but are more focussed on their Mobile Phones. This is a common challenge throughout the hotel. 5 Star Staff do not consult/use their phones when on duty ! When we stayed the Hotel only had Bar food available excepting at the weekend, when the Restaurant opened. A 5 Star Hotel does not operate like this. The Bar menu is very limited. Reception Staff are not very Customer Focussed or Friendly, with one exception, The Night Porter ! I regret not having his name , but, he is a thorough Gentleman. There was no smiling welcome as was experienced in other Greek Hotels on our journey. No enthusiasm for their Hotel. The Beach Bar had a different flavour. The Team would make every effort to please. They were positive and charming. The food here was good Beach Bar food ! And the access to the beach is a real positive with this hotel. When we stayed there, the hotel did not have many guests, so getting a position on the Beach or Deck was not a real challenge. Certainly spaces are limited ! Generally around the hotel maintenance is required. There are lots of things needing attention, and upgrade. It is not a 5 Star Hotel as one would ordinarily expect. It was a disappointing stay overall as costs for Food and Drink were pitched at the 5 Star level. Not having an open Restaurant available, we walked down the hill to the restaurant Galini which is well worth a visit. Traditional and local food served (slowly), freshly cooked with local wine which meets all requirements. Overall disappointing that the Sirene Blue did not make the grade. We expected more.

There is nothing good about this place only the view and beach and the beach bar service. Noisy hotel first thing in the morning and one night people still talking at 3.30 in the morning. No hotel restaurant open. It’s a 45 min walk to Poros.. but we found a local restaurant 10 min away. Galene, amazing food. Bar food in hotel very limited. Bar staff smoke out the back and smoke wafts in. The rooms are small! You have to pay for water in your room, you have to pay for your Greek coffee at breakfast! This is not 5 star! The skirting in our room has never been cleaned. Housekeeping don’t know how to make a bed! No turn down service (which is expected in 5 star) no coffee tea making facilities in room. Not to be recommended.

We stayed at ‘Sirene Blue Hotel’ for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay.||The hotel overlooks Monasteri Bay which makes for an absolutely stunning sea view from the terraces; the bar and restaurants and ( so we understand) from the majority of rooms. The interior of the hotel is light and airy with modern and unique furniture . Both the Lobby Bar and Restaurant are very comfortable with the latter being totally ‘open top’, the bar partially so. Both are well appointed with comfortable furniture and serving a range of drinks and food. We found the terrace leading away from the Swimming Pool area to be quite quiet with nice sun beds. Obviously the area nearest to the sea was busier and it is necessary to reserve your favourite sun beds. ||The staff all worked extremely hard. The Receptionists provide a warm welcome to all and can be relied upon to help with any query. Lia from the Lobby Bar was lovely - she could always relied upon to remember our favourite drinks and gave us much interesting information about the hotel and surrounding area. || There is a short walk to a monastery and small beach but please note the hotel is situated on a main road with no bus service so a private car or taxis are a necessity and can be booked from reception - cost around 10 euros.||We will certainly return to this lovely hotel.

I had an amazing stay. The private beach truly elevated our experience, offering an extremely relaxing ambiance just a few hours from Athens. The rooms, food, and service were also excellent. Highly recommended.

I understand that the star system is quite loose/subjective but I don’t think this is a 5 star establishment. More like 4 star based on available facilities.||My biggest issue with this place relates to an experience I had on my final night. There was loud music playing at midnight, presumably from one of the other guest rooms. I called reception and asked if they could deal with this disturbance. When I called, I was told that they could not enforce anything until 1am. Seriously?! Am I really paying hundreds of euros per night for this place that I can't even get a proper sleep in?! Plus there are families with children staying in the resort! ||Other areas for improvement:|Put tea and coffee making facilities in the room.|Complimentary bottled water please. People are paying a lot of money to be there. Do you really have to charge people for bottled water? |My global impression of customer service in Greece is of slow, reluctant, unhappy looking staff. That applies here too unfortunately but appreciate it is likely cultural. |Reception staff are better than food and beverage.|The website states that there are yoga classes. On arrival, I asked and was told by reception there are no yoga classes. So this is false advertising. Suggest removing from website.|The gym/fitness is outside. This is odd, particularly given the hot climate. I would suggest creating a gym indoors (there appears to be no shortage of space). Reasonably well equipped gym though. |There is a bizarre culture of guests reserving sun loungers for themselves. Again, I appreciate that this is a global issue and that there are cultural differences around it. However, to see sun loungers with random items on them and only about 10% of them occupied at any one time is laughable. Instead of discouraging this, the staff at the hotel actually collude with it! I was never unable to get a sun lounger, having said this (which is why the fervour for reserving them is even more ridiculous). ||Other thoughts:|Rooms are very nice. No issues. Has everything one needs (except deficits highlighted above). |You are paying for the view and for sure you get this. It’s pretty awesome.|The vibe at pool and beach is busy and lots of kids shouting. Everybody is different in terms of what they want. Gets the sun all day so good for sunbathing.|It’s a 45 minute walk into Poros town. Taxis can be a little hard to find but are cheap. |The various eating and drinking options are a little limited in terms of the variety on the menu. I am gluten free and they appear to be familiar with this, which is good. Quality is reasonable; the price is a little high which is to be expected. |Breakfast is decent. Reasonable choice and is kept fairly well stocked until closing time (10.30).|One of the swimming pools is an okay size but the other one is just next to it and very small such that the claim that there are 2 swimming pools feels like a bit of a stretch!|I did not get the chance to use the spa.||In summary, I am not familiar enough with the asking price for accommodation in Greece at this time of the year but for the price paid, it fell a bit short for me and most of all, it's just such a shame that the staff don't seem to be able to impose any sort of boundaries around the anti-social and inconsiderate behaviour of other guests as it is really impacting the experience of others.
