Sirocco

It was my partner and I’d first time in Knysna we truly enjoyed the food & the service at Sirrocco . It was his birthday the waiter made sure to organise a very nice dessert !

After 5 days of food experience disappointment in south Africa, I was lucky to have lunch in this restaurant. Great vibes, warm hospitality, and delicious food. Wide varieties of the best Sushi in the world. So, it's the best food experience in South Africa. We've tried the Greek Salad, Seabass fish and grilled prawns, focaccia. Strongly recommended I visited again today but I didn't like the way they asking for tips! I paid 40 ZAR extra as tip and the waitress kept telling me that is less than 10% !! It was an awkward moment, and not professional at all.

Went for their half price sushi special, was seriously unimpressed… would rather pay full price for PROPER sushi than half price for just sushi rice and avo… if there is not enough actual FISH rather send it back! Don’t let this be the acceptable standard.

Magical, and no other word will suffice. My new favourite restaurant, which is unfortunate as it's not in my hometown. Too delighted by everything to take more photos. The absolute highlight of the evening was our waiter, Sam. Even a magical meal can be ruined by a subpar waiter, but Sam made everything even better. With five people, including a kid, we weren't the easiest table but we were looked after with ease. We asked the most ridiculous questions about the menu, we had changes to the standard orders, and we drank a lot (non-alcoholically), and Sam delivered on everything. We'd all probably eat rocks if Sam recommended them. Highlights of the food were the prawns (even the small ones), the steak (fillet and sirloin both loved), and the Sirocco pasta. Can't wait to come back.

Great location, we had an amazing table, food was exceptionally good. Service was okay, nothing more, inconsistent at times. Great service from the girl with pigtails, some of the staff bringing our food we’re interacting well, although no one really paid any attention to us, nor was there any personable level of service. A shame as it could’ve been much better. Must note they made a point of circling on the bill the level of tip they expected despite the lack of personal service. The food was incredibly good and I really enjoyed the food experience. Hopefully next time the service could be more attentive, personable and amenable. Note that the front entrance stairs are out of order, so you will have to go round the back to get entrance to the restaurant.

We spent a very special dinner with friends. Delicious fresh and fine Sushi, Spaghetti portion little bit to small. Service of Sam was really good! Thank you! We will come back!

My sister’s wedding was here and it was AMAZING. The atmosphere at night with the lagoon is so beautiful. The half price sushi here on Sundays are just sooo delicious. The staff is friendly and kind. Would definitely go here every week if I had to!

Had a great meal here on our honeymoon. Food was good but bit pricey for the quality. highly recommend the focaccia with artichoke dip. Views from the deck were beautiful until the rain came, lovely atmosphere too!
