If you find yourself at Markthalle Neun, do yourself a favour and stop by Sironi for some truly delicious homemade pizza. At just €5 per slice, it's not only tasty but also a great value, especially for the quality. We tried both the Salamino and the Margherita slices and asked them to warm them up and cut them into three so we could share. The staff were super friendly and happy to do it for us. Both pizzas were absolutely bursting with flavour — the Salamino had just the right amount of spice and richness from the cured meat, while the Margherita was simple but so well executed, with a fresh tomato base, melted mozzarella, and that perfect chewy-crispy crust that only comes from good dough and a proper oven. You can really tell this is authentic, handmade pizza with quality ingredients and care in the preparation. The dough was a standout for us — light, airy, and just the right amount of char on the bottom. It’s the kind of pizza that doesn’t need a pile of toppings to impress. Definitely a highlight of our visit to the market and something I’d come back for again without hesitation. If you're at Markthalle Neun and wondering what to eat, Sironi is 100% worth it.

Lovely looking produce, quick service. Decent price. Opted to have the slice warmed, would have preferred it to be s bit warmer though. Saying that the base was delicious and crunchy. The salami used is delicious.

I usually love the pistachio croissant, but this time it was a real letdown. As you can see, there’s barely any pistachio cream inside. They used to be filled to the brim—what happened? Update: The pistachio Croissant has got somehow worse. The filling is less and filled only the last quarter. The price has risen even further to almost 4 €. Avoid at all costs.

Good pizza, only a few minutes waiting time on a busy Saturday. The pumpkin and pancetta slice was nice but could’ve been improved with a bit longer in the oven.

Absolutely fantastic bread and the pizza 🍕 is amazingly delicious 🤤 can’t wait to get another slice. It’s now one of my most favorite pizza slices in Berlin. Highly recommended shop. Staff is also very friendly and funny.

We stopped by Markthalle Neun to get a taste of local life 🤩 I couldn't help but notice people queuing up for this pizza by the slice, and oh my goodness, it was delicious! Freshly prepared, simple and aaah🤤 Alsooo, I only drink rhubarb lemonade, eat rhubarb desserts, and even drink rhubarb wine when I'm in Germany 🤤 I adore anything rhubarb

Very nice milanese pizza, crispy at the outside and soft at the inside. Should have ordered the one with ham and artichoke as well! Focaccia is the highlight but you have to finish it right away or they will turn hard very quick!

On our visit to Markthalle 9 we became aware of the great choice of breads at Sironi. It took a while to order/buy something, since the queue was endlessly long. Once it was our turn, we decided for a 1/4 of Dinkelbrot. The lady serving us was quick, but not too friendly (probably stressed). Back home we tried the bread immediately and I must say that it was really tasty and had a rich flavor. So definitely worth trying! However, 3,50€ for a quarter of bread (essential food) is really too much.

Yelp
The line for this bakery when we got to Markthalle Neun caught my eye and I knew I had to get something from it. It had also popped up in my searches when looking for the best bakeries in Berlin, so it was a must try! Food: - Pizza Margherita--€2.70 They reheat all of the pizzas and focaccia slices you order in the oven behind the counter and cut it into easier to eat pieces, so I was so excited to be able to eat a warm, fresh out of the oven slice. The cheese on top was deliciously melted and intermingled with the tomato sauce and bits of basil for the perfect, quintessential Margherita. The bread was the highlight as it was fluffy and soft, but still with a chew and lightly crisp bottom. Tips: - Make sure to get your slice of pizza or focaccia reheated if you will be eating it right away.

Yelp
3.5 and rounded up, this bakery has a stand at Markthalle Neun, and on a Monday at noon when I dropped by was a popular spot. A small line of customers formed though service was quick and I was able to pick up a chocolate girella pastry €3.50 to go. Temptation got the best of me and despite my intentions to save it for later I ended up taking a few bites of this right there. First, this was huge, definitely couldn't (and maybe shouldn't) finish it in one sitting. The pastry dough was pretty good, decently flaky, though not as light as I expected. There's a plentiful filling of dark chocolate and chopped nuts (I think pecans or walnuts), which was lovely though ration of filling to pastry was a little too high, I think perhaps the amount of filling affected how the dough on the bottom could rise when baking. Overall a decadent treat and I would drop by again to try some else if I were in the area and had a hankering for baked goods. I didn't have much interaction with the staff, from my recollection they were courteous.
