The location was excellent and our room had a balcony overlooking the sea. The room was spacious and comfortable with tea, coffee (replenished daily) a large bottle of water and white wine in the fridge. Breakfast was a good range buffet but needed some daily variance. The daily pastries were interesting and tasty. Staff were very helpful and polite. The ambience in the hotel was peaceful and serene. It was my birthday during our stay and the hotel arranged for a bottle of lovely bubbly to be left in the room, a really kind gesture and appreciated. You felt they cared about making your stay enjoyable. Though the hotel is not new it has been updated and modernised it is small and has character. Just what we like. We thought the food and drinks provided by Cappuccino were a bit expensive given that Sis Pins is three star. A discount was given hotel customers, but we did not eat there. However, a great stay would definitely visit again and recommend.

My first visit to Sis Pins and it was a lovely stay.|Visited as a solo female traveller which is now my line of business after many years of teaching. I stayed in exactly the right place for me. I had a fairly late in the day check-in (which was no problem and was immediately accepted when I booked) - the hotel felt immediately safe, inviting and friendly which is exactly what I wanted! |Breakfasts on the terrace were special and the availability of breakfast items was excellent - couldn't fault it at all. I enjoyed lazing on the sun terrace when I could - perfect for reading with the sounds of the sea. The location of the hotel is excellent - right where you want to be in the resort - central and settled - lovely walk from here along the Pine Walk. Room service/housekeeping was faultless and I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay.|Loved the book cupboard - a special touch when this is offered.|Will stay here again as a solo traveller and with my partner who will also love it.|Thank you for your welcome - I really look forward to my next visit!

Hotel full of character. Beautiful rooms. Amazing choice of food at breakfast. The reception staff all spoke exceptional English, they were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. It was my birthday while I was there and I came back shopping on that day, to find a lovely bottle of pink cava and glasses for my birthday. It was a fabulous surprise.

It's a really difficult review to write this one as there are real positives and equally some real negatives. I have scored it a 3 but if there was a 2.5 I would need to choose that.|Much of this review has been stated across both good & not so good reviews previously.||Positives:|The location of the Hotel is excellent and cannot be faulted. Right in the middle of the pedestrianised front in PP. |The Staff are friendly, welcoming and happy to help at all times. They are a credit to the Hotel and certainly we got the impression many people return year after year for that reason alone.|The view from the Breakfast Area/front of the Hotel is superb.|The Hotel appearance from the front is again superb - the old-style bordered by beautiful flowers and white-washed frontage is really in keeping with this part of Mallorca. It's a pleasure to sit outside.|Air-conditioning worked very well.||Negatives: |Our room (128) was large but VERY dated. The electrics were noisy through the night (junction box by door 'hummed' and the Old fashioned fridge was more noisy than a modern one would be).|The room had the smallest balcony you could imagine and not one we could comfortably sit out on. Plus, it faced internally to other balconies only feet away. You were literally sat staring at other guests and couldn't avoid hearing everything that was said by them. I could hear a guest snoring on their balcony through the closed doors! We couldn't use it.|Same with the TV - unable to use as it was the size of a small computer monitor and not in-line with modern hotels. We hardly ever watch a TV but this was also side on to the beds so unusable.|The bathroom was also very dated with brown 'rust' type markings up the edges of the mirror, a shower over the bath which needed updating and an old-fashioned shower curtain which stuck to you every time you had a shower.|The towels in the bathroom were a disgrace. They were worn, over-used/washed and needed replacing (I took photos). On more than one day they were so bad you could see through them - and I don't just mean the ones with holes in them. They were tiny also - not modern bath sheets.|The beds were a disappointment also. They were basic framed beds with firm poor quality uncomfortable mattresses. Because of this, the beds moved easily on the tiled floors and small twin beds for a married couple is not ideal anyway.|The lighting in the room was awful. Not just because one wall light did not work but there was no central/main light in the room. This meant that the very dark wardrobe area was so badly lit, you couldn't see what you were getting out of the drawers.|Breakfast was basic. Orange juice rather than multiple juice options. Old-fashioned kettles for hot water rather than a hot water machine. Bacon which the blunt knives could not cut through. Some of the pastries were nice though.|The outdoor area was lovely to sit at for breakfast but we made the mistake of having lunch in the Cappuccino franchise within the hotel. The food/drink options and quality were fine....the cost however, was ridiculous!!! €15 for a GLASS of Sangria and we paid over €100 for a basic lunch with one drink each. |We have eaten at all the restaurants in PP for decades and have never known such poor value when compared with the other restaurants and bars in that area. It is simply way over-priced.||I could go on with some further negatives but having completed this review it has convinced me to drop the score to a 2 and not 3. We have stayed in other 3* and 4* hotels in the area for years and this one can no longer trade on the back of it being beautiful in the 80's. It must bring itself up to modern standards to compete and until it does, we sadly can't stay here again.

We visit this hotel often. Great location, always spotless, and generous breakfasts. This year my wife broke her collarbone. Victoria, the senior receptionist, knew exactly where to send us. My wife needed surgery and two nights in the hospital. When she returned, the entire staff knew about it and greeted her with their sympathies. Very touching. Quite of number of returning guests also chimed in. How can you tell a great hotel? They keep their customers and they keep their staff. This is one of them!

We've stayed at this hotel before. It's in a fabulous location, very central and the hotel is full of character and beautifully maintained. The staff are all so friendly and helpful - it's perfect for us.|The only reason I don't give the hotel 5 stars is because, apart from breakfast, it doesn't provide its own catering or bar; this has been franchised out to Cappuccino, next door. So, if you want to lunch or dine at the hotel, or have a night-cap on the beautiful terrace, you have to get this from Cappuccino, whose prices are grossly inflated and their service is dire.|This won't stop us going to the hotel again (although maybe only one more time) but we'll be eating out every night.

My husband and I have been to Puerto Pollenca many times over the years.|This is however are first visit to the hotel ,outdated for some but not us.A lovely clean hotel in a beautiful location. The front of hotel charming with floral archway, a delightful experience having breakfast in the sunshine, the sea a few feet away.|Our room was clean and tidy ,with small balcony seating,a little noisy in am with traffic .|Good size bathroom ,bath, and shower if preferred.|The staff were friendly, welcoming and housekeeping excellent.|Clean towels daily, replenishment of coffee, tea etc.Floormopped daily and left spotless by staff.|Breakfast very good choices,Continental or English .|Patries,Preserves, fruit etc .|Coffee machine available ,juices, and milk.| Only wished they were loungers to use outside near the sea.|Apparently used to be available but not now.|Two folding chairs are available on your balcony to take down and use .|Altogether a lovely hotel we hopefully will return next year.

Another lovely holiday staying at Sis Pins. I first stayed in 2014 and have spent every year (apart from Covid) there. The staff have remained over those years and are so friendly. The rooms are clean and the linen and towels are changed regularly. The breakfast buffet has a good selection for everyone's tastes. This year we hired sunbeds for our stay and bought umbrellas and bases from the Chinese supermarket and set up on the old solarium area. Cappuccino next door have a lovely lunchtime menu and a great setting by the sea. |We booked next years holiday whilst we were there and will be looking forward to returning.
