Google
Wowww. What an amazing spot.. delicious juices and breakfast. I had the Jimmy pesto and it was probably the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The juices were so fresh and the place itself was bright and adorable. We sat outside and it was perfect. Would definitely recommend this place.

Google
Homemade glazed croissant and gluten free chocolate cookie, power rootin shooter shots (tumeric carrot ginger and black pepper) and coffee were all amazing!

Google
Absolutely delicious! The beef was tender and full of flavor, perfectly paired with crispy bread and a touch of horseradish creamy sauce.;)

Google
Had the vegan FLT and shake and it was unreal. So many vegan options and the staff are so lovely and accommodating. Very small cute cafe with great menu selection, fresh pasties and cookies and would defo recommend!

Stopped off in Kingston during a road trip for lunch and found Sissy’s ahead of time on Google Maps and ordered ahead. Very friendly waitstaff. They had our lunch waiting for us. Grabbed it to go and ate outside. Super tasty sandwiches and wraps. I had the Green Goat. Awesome. I would stop by here multiple times a week if it was close to home. Bathrooms are clean ;)

Google
Great little spot in Kingston with delicious breakfast sandwiches and smoothies. The space is small and seating can be tight but you can order ahead. Our breakfast sandwiches were delicious. We had the country wrap and southwestern wrap. Both were flavorful and filling. I recommend this spot for a quick bite and delicious meal!

Google
Sissy’s Café it’s a nice little breakfast and lunch spot. There’s indoor and outdoor seating available. Our sandwiches came wrapped in foil which is a little odd for eating in but at least no plastic takeout containers! We did love the food and I will definitely be back.

Google
This was my first visit to Sissy’s and I will definitely be going back. I enjoyed a fantastic southwestern wrap and my boyfriend devoured a bacon, egg and cheese bagel. With food this tasty, it’s no wonder this lively little spot was bustling on this slushy Thursday morning. I highly recommend stopping by for some fresh, homemade comfort food!

Yelp
Kingston quintessential kindness abound in this cute sandwich place. The sandwiches hit the spot but a fifth star would be earned if they upped the ingredients' quality a bit as they are quite basic. By the way, check out their charming outdoor seating arrangement, and you may want to get a smoothie here too post-sandwich to help wash it down

Yelp
Amazing wraps! Filling, tasty and relatively healthy. The Country Wrap was my favorite. The coffee was good even the decaf. The smoothies tasted like fruit. If you want breakfast or lunch in the Kingston area, I highly recommended.

Yelp
Super cute spot, delicious food! I stopped here for lunch on a mini road trip and I was extremely impressed with the taste of my Market Salad! I added turkey on it and then also got an iced coffee! My only two issues with this place is the lack of seating and the lack of prices on any of the menus. I ended up spending $20 on the salad and coffee which isn't the worst, but I still wish I would've known the itemized prices. Worth the stop!

Yelp
ARE YOU KIDDING ME THIS WAS AMAZING. I got the hot bird sandwich and it was to die for!!!! The interior is very small so it's first come, first serve if you want to get a seat. Highly recommend!!!!!

Yelp
Great people good food fair prices . We used to go there a lot when they first opened . The food was always excellent and the people friendly. A great BLT Hot Bird is excellent

Yelp
While checking out the farmers market on a Saturday morning in town, we decided to grab breakfast at Sissy's Cafe. I was recommended to check it out a previous time by an Airbnb host from a prior visit. The cafe has a small section of seating inside to the right of the register and an outside eating area just in front as well. They have the menu posted on boards outside of the cafe as well as on the wall inside. By the register they may post an extra items that are also possible options. They serve mostly sandwiches, wraps and smoothies at the spot. Lots of the menu options sounded very interesting that it was a tough choice what to grab since a lot of the options sounded so good. I grabbed the Jimmy Pesto which was eggs, avocado and pesto in a wrap. It was delicious, creamy and filling. I also grabbed the mango lassi which was good, but I would more call it a mango yogurt smoothie. The consistency is not as smooth as a lassi drink to equate to it, but overall the taste was refreshing. The staff was nice and got the food to us pretty quick. They also are very popular since we saw many groups come in and out while dining there. We definitely will come back again in the future.

Yelp
This local place never lets me down. Been grabbing sammies for years and just yesterday. The food and the service always put a smile on my face. You cannot go wrong with anything. Excellent smoothies, true, but what I go for time and again is the Sweetie Pie, or the Hot bird or the Ruben. Great coffee too and the lemonade.... May this gem remain a cornerstone of the food scene in Kingston.

Yelp
Cool place! This is a fun spot to stop for lunch. Interesting menu. Fresh. Unique. Try it

Yelp
I'm so happy I stumbled upon this gem. I got the vegan delight sandwich with turkey and cheddar and it was so refreshing, packed with flavor and definitely big enough to share. My friend got the southwest wrap and added some Of their hot sauce, it was also very tasty, a little heavier than my sandwich but overall I can't wait to come back! Service was also amazing and welcoming.

Yelp
I don't know why we have never stopped in to Sissy's Cafe before but now we will be coming back! Sweet atmosphere, friendly staff and good food! Nice breakfast options and sandwiches. We shared two sandwiches, (Turkey BLT and a Turkey with pesto thing whose name I forget) and they were both yummy. Good coffee too.

Yelp
We stopped off here while traveling through New York and it was excellent! The smoothies and juices were fresh. The wraps amazing. A cute little space to sit inside, with more seating outside to be in the sun with umbrellas for shade. So happy we stopped!
google avatar

Yelp
Sissy's is consistent! A good lunch spot right on north front street that has been a quality option for healthier sandwhich, salad, and breakfast options for me. Love the sweet potato wrap and I reallly enjoy their pesto. The smoothies are also aaaamazing. One of my favorite treats here is the almond butter cookie! Outdoor tables and a couple bar seats inside. Counter service, and sometimes does take a little on the longer side for food prep but I think the food is worth it.

Yelp
We got the southwestern wrap and country wrap! The gluten-free wrap was great! And I never like gluten free attempts at breads and tortillas... Except Siete the best gluten-free tortillas ever! I also got some sort of a juice I think or a smoothie I can't remember but it was really good. And the place is cute and there's a secret map of Kingston in the bathroom that I'm sure is outdated but it literally has like phone numbers and everything and it was hand drawn and it reminded me of like shit we had to do before the Internet. Eat your food take a dump look at the map get to know Kingston!!!

Yelp
What can I say? I love the breakfast burritos at Sissy's so much that I had breakfast here everyday of my trip to Kingston. Day One I had the Southwestern with Bacon on a Gluten Free Wrap (Egg, Cheddar, Avocado, Salsa, Beans) with AquaVitea Kombucha in Hibiscus Ginger Lime. Totally delicious and honestly the only time I've had a gluten free breakfast burrito ANYWHERE and it rocked. It even had the beautiful lines from the panini press! Day 2 I had the Country Burrito on the Gluten Free Wrap (Eggs, Cheddar, Bacon and Cajun Potatoes) with the freshly squeezed OJ. The Country Burrito is my new favorite--a perfect, simple breakfast that I can't wait to order again on my next trip to Kingston. The OJ was a delicious accompaniment. The staff is taking every COVID precaution: masks inside for all and strongly encouraged for guests, only outdoor seating for now (for reference it is late October '21). So happy to support this business and to return after coming here in February 2020, right before the pandemic hit. Now my question is: what brand of gluten free tortillas do they use? Sissy's has seriously set the standard for breakfast burrito perfection and makes sure the gf crowd isn't missing out either! Amen.

Yelp
Excellent breakfast/lunch. Great vegetarian or vegan selection. Very flavorful. Wonderful, wonderful service and now that you can again sit indoors, it's a Kingston gem!

Yelp
I wish I could have stayed a few more days just so I could try all of the options on the menu at Sissy's Cafe. Great place to stop and refuel if you're looking for an easy lunch for a road trip or day hike. Came on a blazing hot weekday around 1pm to find a line out the door. Definitely very popular. I will say that I tried placing an order online and it didn't go through so seems like the only options right now are in-person pick-up. Ordered the tuna wrap, green GOAT, and mango tango smoothie. The drink hit the spot, though very gingery - I love ginger and didn't mind at all. Have my eye on the Nutty Professor as a great post-hike treat. The sandwiches ... ugh, just go there, don't take my word for it. I'm going to try making the green GOAT at home. Goat cheese, avocado, basil pesto, sprouts, what's not to love? Also had a bite of the tuna wrap that my mom got. I liked how these were all fresh, filling, and relatively healthy. Good portion sizes too. Would love to come back and try the breakfast options and the other sandwiches. Tons of gluten-free options.

Yelp
The way folks were raving about this place, I was expecting more. The sunshine wrap was just ok.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute little cafe right in downtown Kingston. They are dog friendly and the southwestern burrito was delicious!
google avatar

Jenn A.

Yelp
Had the Hot Bird on gluten free bread (!) with a side salad. It was delicious and the salad was nice and fresh. Service was quick and the ambiance was pleasant for a small cafe. The outdoor seating made all the difference.

Yelp
Sissy's cafe certainly has its following as it was incredibly busy this morning. The existing customers all seemed to be enjoying their food. My girlfriend really enjoyed her sandwich. Everything seemed great for everybody except for me. I had the H.A.S. (hummus, avocado and sprout) sandwich on a plain bagel. It wasn't great. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't good. The hummus was warm and bland, the avocado was skimpy, and the sprouts, well, they're sprouts. They never really have much to add. The bagel was doughy and was not the best plain bagel I've ever had. Maybe I just had bad luck. With some proper seasoning, more avocado, a better bagel, the HAS would have been significantly better. The sprouts, well, they did their job. Maybe next time I'll try something else.

Yelp
Perfect spot to stop if you are driving up from the city and it's lunch time. Located in the uptown section of Kingston. The place has hippy and healthy vibes. We had the sweetie pie - yummy vegetarian wrap and hot bird (not toasted). Also, we got a massive 16 ounce mimosa cause why not. The juices and protein shakes looked great too. What a wonderful little place.
google avatar

Lauren A.

Yelp
Nice breakfast spot. I got the country sunshine wrap. It was good - the Cajun wasn't too overpowering which I liked. Good amount and quality of food to price ratio. I liked their coffee as well. It was in a portable coffee pourer thing which made me skeptical but it was ok quality.
google avatar

Lori C.

Yelp
My bf and I were passing through Kingston as we're driving home from Woodstock and found this cute cafe. The food and smoothies are really good and reasonably priced. I had the hammy sandwich which was delicious and the berry banana smoothie which was refreshing, perfect for the hot sunny day. My bf had the hot bird sandwich and nutty professor which he said both were amazing. There was some seating inside but mostly tables outside. I would recommend if you're in the area!

Yelp
Great stop for Breakfast sandwich and coffee . Yum . Good service. Nice stop. Will stop again soon

Yelp
Perfect little healthy and friendly cafe! Stopped here in transit from new jersey to Montreal. Cute street. Bright atmosphere!

Elizabeth K.

Yelp
The vegan sandwich is my favorite. Soooo delicious. Sort of a hole in the wall place. Always busy. I always order the same thing the vegan delight so don't have advise on anything else.
google avatar

Amanda N.

Yelp
A favorite uptown go-to spot for lunch! great salads and sandwiches, although the smoothies are my favorite! An awesome spot for some grab-and-go!

Jack J.

Yelp
Cute place for a quick bite. Outdoor and indoor tables. Lots of veggie options and soups. Yum!
google avatar

Yelp
Oh bad news!!!! I was in for lunch today to treat myself to my favorite sandwich at Sissy's. It's. FLT. Fakin bacon and lettuce and tomato. Well I got the small sandwich and was eating it and thought somethings not right and I looked and and there wasn't any fakin bacon it was just plain tempeh. Wow!! I told the waitress there wasn't any fakin bacon and she said they don't do that anymore!! I don't think it had tomato on it either. Huge Bummer.... and more importantly WHY????? Not my favorite anymore ... sad about this. :( This was to be the bright spot in my day ... so bummer of a day!!!

Joan S.

Yelp
I was in town for a wedding and happened to stumble upon Sissy's. The place is small but quaint. The food and service was excellent. Portions were nice sized. I would definitely go again if in town!

Liz E.

Yelp
Super friendly staff. Loved my chicken salad sandwich with bacon, lettuce, and tomato. Everything was super-fresh: the bun, the chicken, veggies.

A. M.

Yelp
The "hot bird" is the best sandwich in the Kingston area and their soups are always to die for.
google avatar

Marc W.

Yelp
Great place to dine! Love their sandwiches and beverages. You'll really love their salads too! All their food is fresh and believe locally sourced. Great place to eat!
google avatar

Tina L.

Yelp
Ordered sandwiches for take out! I had the hot bird sandwich and it was amazing! It was super delicious! The spicy cauliflower soup was really good! I enjoyed both very much and was sad to finish both. My group also enjoyed the sandwiches and even said the gluten free bread did not taste like gluten free bread. It was so good! Glad to stop by this cute place!

Melanie A.

Yelp
Mmmm. The employees were all so friendly and the decor so cute! the hammy sandwich was amazing, perfect freshness with the sprouts and the ham and cheese added lovely depth. great portion sizes. the reuben is a must order! I got it with turkey, and the cheese and special sauce were just delectable. kept me satisfied, and was a proudly lovely experience. the razzle dazzle smoothie was fantastic as well. it was a perfect mix of razzle and dazzle, with neither overpowering the flavor. highly recommend!

Arielle L.

Yelp
Sissys is a Kingston staple for good reason. The atmosphere is comfortable and community-minded, the service is consistent, and the smoothies are solid.
google avatar

Kelvin J.

Yelp
This place is worth the visit and definitely worth the eats. It is a pleasant environment with great food of a variety of food. Stop by it you haven't already.
google avatar

Yelp
Incredibly fresh and delicious food, and warm and welcoming service. Favorite place in Kingston for a sandwich! The vegan delight sandwich is particularly delicious, and they've got kombucha on tap. I can't wait to go back to eating inside this cozy place.
google avatar

Brian R.

Yelp
Very nice people. I've been going here a lot lately to get a kombucha. I'm trying to be less of an alcoholic and I've been told that kombucha is good for you. Speaking of being an alcoholic I've noticed that they have beer here too. Not just nonsense beer but a really good selection. I've only ate here a couple times but the food is scrumptious. So you've got: Awesome people. Great food. Kombucha. Beer. What more could you want?
google avatar

Julianne B.

Yelp
Nice little spot! I always stop here when I'm in town. They have a good juice selection and tons of GF options.
google avatar

Ari G.

Yelp
I've had occasion to have many a sandwich from Sissys, and even featured them on our running instagram feed '#jonaseatskingston'- all that can be said is that each sandwich is tastier than the next. Be it a Hotbird, Sweetie Pie, Buddah Vegan Delight (that may not be the exact name), all are so delicious and satisfying. Always fresh. Also tap Kambucha, great coffee, a good selection of beers and NO pretense. If they ever considered opening for evening hours, it would also be favorite then too.
google avatar

Lorelei D.

Yelp
This was a great unexpected lunch stop on our way to Vermont. The cafe is currently doing orders to go at the window and are taking all precautions for Covid (masks, gloves, cleaning pens). We ordered Hot Bird sandwiches and a tropical smoothie. The sandwich was stacked tall with avocado, turkey and cheese and the bread was perfectly toasted in a panini maker. The smoothie was fresh and all the food was prepared pretty quickly for being such high quality. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Josiah S.

Yelp
Vegans and carnivores, hippies and conformists unite! Smoothies. Salads. Wraps!! Sandwiches. Gluten issues? No problem. Have some GF pancakes or the GF wrap. Great service. Great coffee too. Alcohol options! I get the country wrap. Every time. Every single time. I really do try to get something else. Maybe someday. But for now?! COUNTRY WRAP!

Eden C.

Yelp
We don't know much about the area so randomly stopped by at Sissys and were very pleased. We got the green goat, vegan delight, BLT and hot bird. All were very delicious and filled us up!
google avatar

Tanya Z.

Yelp
Really delicious food, friendly staff, and plenty of outdoor seating space! We got sandwiches and smoothies. Everything was flavorful and the portions were just the right size to be full but not stuffed.

Judy F.

Yelp
Great place, so much yummy food! Had the black bean soup and a tuna wrap. Love they don't put celery in their tuna salad. Awesome service and a positive atmosphere
google avatar

Hannah S.

Yelp
Where do I even start with this review? Sissy's Cafe is amazing. They're always busy and there's a reason why! Amazing food, amazing service, amazing everything. I've had a number of their sandwiches and ALL of them have been just incredible. The ingredients they use are incredibly fresh and the portions are very generous. They've got tons of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options available should you need. My mother and I once split a bowl of their tomato soup, and I HATE tomato soup, and this soup was...well...amazing! I don't think I'd ever like tomato soup but Sissy's has me second-guessing my dislike of it. They also do juices and smoothies, all of it made from fresh fruit and veggies, that are as good as the food they serve. I've gotten the carrot juice and it's delicious! If you're ever in the Stockade and aren't sure where to grab lunch, Sissy's is a sure bet for great food and impeccable service.
google avatar

Marcus S.

Yelp
Really friendly staff. Tasty pastries. Delicious smoothies. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Kingston, specifically the stockade district.

John P.

Yelp
The girls kick ass. The end. Eat here. The breakfasts are great and the shakes are to die for. I personally love the wellness shots. 3$ a piece and I start my day with one majority of days. Lemon and ginger power shot!!!! Go get one. Hardest thing to like about sissy's are the hours. They're open a few hrs but if you get there you won't regret it. Love you guys
