"Soak up the sunshine at Sister Srey The coffee may not be the best in Siem Reap and the food can be hit and miss. But there are few more relaxed places to hang out than the wooden tables and benches at the front of this sunny cafe opposite the riverside. Owned by two Melbourne sisters who do a lot of charitable work, it's a good spot to meet expats and there's a noticeboard promoting volunteer opportunities and other ways to give back."

Restaurants That Give Back - AFAR

"This cheery café hires Khmer students and offers hands-on training in hospitality, English, personal development, banking, and health and hygiene, while directing a portion of its profits toward clearing land mines." - Billie Cohen

A roadside coffee shop with good taste. The shop is full of foreign tourists. The breakfast menu here is popular. There are quite a few menus to choose from. There is no air conditioning but there are fans. The top floor is an art gallery that you can go up and see.

I stopped by here for breakfast and absolutely loved it! The staff are all very friendly and the food was great! I had the eggs benedict with a late and it was perfect! The atmosphere of the restaurant is also great and it sits right along the river making it a great place to relax and people watch!

The food and atmosphere was great! I love the location, being able to stare at the street and people walking by was wonderful. Great place if you want a fresh start of the day. However, the price is definitely for foreigner, $6 for a plate of food is quite pricey. The portion is big, however, it's great if there are options for smaller plate. I could barely finish it. As a local, I don't think I'll come again because the price is very high (24000R) for one breakfast.

Loved this beautiful little cafe. The staff were so kind. The coffee was insanely good, the cakes were delicious and the lime soda so refreshing. The vibe was perfect, great music, and upstairs was a super cute gallery area with comfy chairs, books and big windows. And, the money goes to such great causes!

It was fine. I was craving a smoothie bowl. Searched Google maps and came here. The smoothie bowl was good. The banana bread was good. Neither was great. The service and atmosphere were fine. Prices were for westerners, not locals, as those two items came to $8.25.

came to this spot for an afternoon dessert break. The vanilla milk shakes that 3 of us had were amazing!!!!! That's where it ends. I ordered the M&M cookie, it tasted fine, not great, but it was a hard. For a $1.50 cookie I was expecting WOW. The passionfruit cheesecake and the choc, banana avocado "cake" had clearly been in the freezer, they were frozen solid and almost impossible to take a bite. They also lose their flavor when frozen. And the "cake" was NOT a cake. It was some sort of creamy mouse like chocolate with a banana pie like crust. I was expecting a cake. One person opted for burger and fries. It was "ok". The fries tasted old. I was very sad as we were also so excited when we read the menu online. I would go back just for the yummy shake!

Staff is incredibly friendly and nice. The pancake was very good (though it would have been nice to have a bit more of the strawberry sauce) the coffee is good too. They have a nice gallery upstairs as well.
