Sisterfields was one of the highlights of our time in Bali. The space is beautifully designed with a clean, modern feel, and despite reading that there could be a wait, our group of five was seated immediately. The service was excellent from the start. Our waitress Elma was a jewel, friendly, attentive, and one of the standout parts of the experience.
The pancakes were the star of the table. They came with salted cajeta, goat’s milk gelato, puffed black rice, Balinese cashew crumble, and raspberry hibiscus. The balance of warm pancakes with the cold gelato, along with the sweet and slightly salty flavors, made the dish unforgettable. It was so good that we came back the next day and ordered it again.
Around the table we also tried the Short Ribs Rigatoni with braised beef and red wine, the Smoked Salmon on Toast with lemon cream cheese and capers, the Breakfast Sandwich on a Hawaiian roll, and the Full Breaky with eggs, bacon, roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, and sourdough. Everyone in our party enjoyed their dishes.
When a place is good enough to visit two days in a row, that says something. Sisterfields delivered great food, excellent service, and an atmosphere that made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience.
