Sittee River

Very friendly and inviting community. The people here are very helpful. They have a little corner store if you need anything in a pinch. Traveller's Palm restaurant is so yummy. I would recommend trying it out. If you need a tire fixed or your car washed. This is where to come. Few minutes off the highway, but it a great place to stay awhile.

The Sittee River area is very laid back and picturesque . I swam in the Sittee River under the Southern Highway bridge during a picnic and the river water is clean and the bottom is rocky. The current is not too bad except after rains in the mountains to the west.

Amazing experience doing the bioluminescence tour. Lincoln of Patrick Tours was a very knowledgable guide.
