Siviks Camping

Really disappointing to return here and find it so changed. We were charged 530 SEK for a massive plot with electricity, even though we didn't need either. This is almost double what we've paid all through Norway and Sweden. Our Transit would have easily fitted into the non-electric spots, but it's clear the owners are on the make. We don't even have a hook up with us. They're obviously charging a premium for the beach too, but this is also a huge disappointment (see picture). No sand, lots of litter, kind of grey rocky mud that isn't deep enough to swim in. The person at reception was bizarrely bossy and the place is over the top with rules. Her manner is abrupt to the point of rudeness. Probably worst of all is that there is now a refuse site right next door, so you get woken up at 7am by the their machinery. The shooting range starts up after the tip closes, and loud gunfire sounds well into the evening. The showers and other facilities are good, but no better than anywhere else, and do not make up for the noise, overcharging and unfriendliness.

Great place to enjoy the coast with children. The camping was humble and nice, had all we needed for a 3 days visit. Clean showers and toilets, a playground and short distance to the beach. My daughter also enjoyed really much Kokobellos cirkusskolan. We went for a little hiking and the view from the cliffs was wonderful! Would recommend.

Nice camping with beautiful surrounding nature. Clean toilets and free showers. Dance, and entertainment on the stage in high season. Recommended place to stay, even the camping needs some renovation and upgrades.

The staff here is extremely rude and arrogant. We arrived in the evening and was told to drive around the corner and wait for directions. Waited for 15 minutes, and went back to ask again. The guy said he would come bur never did. Waited for another 15 minutes befare we left. The guy was just sitting there doing nothing……avoid this plate if possible.

Awesome site for off season camping. We stayed just one night in May in a campervan. The receiption staff were very helpful, the price reasonable, the very good showers included, clean ablutions and a spectacular view out over the sea and islands. The WiFi charge (50K for 24 hrs) is higher than some places, but the coverage and speed good. The near by wind turbines might annoy some, as might the large number of fixed season holder mobile homes (all seem to be well kept and mainly at the edges). It might be a different story in high season but we, thought highly of the site which was one of the best we have stayed in.

Clean, good toilets and showers but not a very nice camping. Next to the camping is a garbage disposal. The shallow beach is nice for small children but means you have to walk a very long way to swim.

Said i wanted three nights - was forced to pay in advance, but when I changed my mind to two nights, I could not get the money back for night number three. Lousy!
