On the Grid : Six Acres

"Six Acres is a cozy spot in the oldest brick building in Gastown. It also has one of the best people-watching patios in the summer. The drinks are cheap and the beer selection is fantastic. The food is delicious and made for sharing. If you’re looking for poutine, this is the place to go. And don’t miss the adult popcorn. Insider tip: If you have to wait for a table and there's room on the bench by the door, order a drink while you wait." - Louder Than Ten

Had a great experience at 6 Acres. The service was excellent, and our server was really friendly and checked in often without being overbearing. The food was also really good. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. The chicken had great flavor and just the right amount of heat Everything was great and I would definitely come back.

I visited 6 Acres to celebrate my husband’s birthday while we were travelling from Toronto, and it turned out to be such a fun and memorable evening! 😍 From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming and relaxed. We absolutely loved the atmosphere, and the fact that they had a variety of games to play really added a playful touch to the night — such a great way to unwind, have a couple of drinks and laugh together with friends! 🥂 The food was delicious, and the pricing was very reasonable — especially for a special occasion. We also had the chance to meet the owners, and they were absolutely delightful! Friendly, down-to-earth, and clearly passionate about what they do. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a good time with great food and even better vibes. 🥳 Thanks, 6 Acres, for making my husband’s birthday dinner so much fun!

I love this place! My wife and I went for breakfast, and the food was absolutely delicious perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The service was great friendly and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised to get free coffee, and the cocktail drinks were awesome. I especially loved the Espresso Martini so smooth and flavorful! Highly recommend this spot for a tasty breakfast and a great overall experience.

Had such a great night at 6 Acres in Gastown with my friend! The cocktails were seriously amazing—pretty sure they have one of the best bartenders in town. The happy hour food is a steal, with prices from $5 to $16—you don’t see that often in Gastown! I’d love to throw a private party upstairs someday—the manager said they can host 25-35 guests, which sounds perfect. Definitely coming back! Great drinks, good vibes, and awesome deals.

Six Acres - WOW! My partner and I visited early this afternoon for brunch, and the service was truly wonderful. We sat on the patio, facing the lively intersection of Powell, Alexander and Carrall Streets, and we really felt the community around us while we ate. The food was fantastic and the staff were sweet and did a great job hosting us. Their menu is something worth exploring. We will definitely be back. Thank you Six Acres team.

Six Acres is absolutely phenomenal in every way possible. The owner, Sean, runs a well oiled machine filled with fantastic food and great staff members like bartenders Jemma and Carlos. The wings are HIGHLY recommended, with their variety of sauces (they were too good to pick a favorite!). Thank you to Six Acres for making two Americans feel right at home. We loved supporting this local business!

Shoutout to our server. He was amazing. Accommodated us without a reservation on a Saturday Night. Thank you We got a bunch of Lagers and a Caeser. For food we got Margerita Pizza and Parmesan Fries. Both were amazingly delicious. Loved them. The vibes were chill and we had fun. Must try! Thank you! I appreciate that. Love a Caesar anytime!
