Six Flags Great Adventure

This was a pretty cool experience! It was my first time there and I went with a friend that I know of. There was this one staff member in the Justice League ride that was just awful to my friend and they told me it wasn't the first time either. Pretty neat rides and wish I was around whenever Kingda Ka was still there that's the type of ride I've always been looking for but it was gone by the time I got here. I really love the rides I've only been on a few so far though. I went during Fright Fest and I rode El Toro a few times, Flash, Justice League, Superman, the one in the mountain, and Jersey Devil. It's pretty fun and very different from Six Flags over Texas. I love comparing the rides for the ones that are the same but named differently the only one that is the same from Texas is the Joker oh and slightly Justice League. And with how big this one is this park I would get lost I don't know how people do it without a map the one in Texas though I know that one like the back of my hand.

Went to Six Flags Great Adventure over Thanksgiving weekend. All of the rides except for El Toro were open and there were very short waits to get on each attraction which was nice. Aside from Cedar Point and Hershey Park, this is the best thrill ride theme park we've all ever been to and would highly recommend a visit here!

We went on halloween, they had the fright fest.. It was fun, the place is clean, organized and has alot of services and amenities.. We faced an issue with our tickets and passes, but the guest services employees were so welcoming, helpful and nice about it and helped us in no time. Thanks to their help we got to enjoy our day there. It was for sure worth the trip.

Well this was our first time here, as annual members for 6 years we’ve always talked about coming here and since it was the Halloween event what better time, BIG MISTAKE! Every other park is inclusive, you have tickets for Halloween you get the haunted houses, mazes, etc. Not here! $35 a piece, $90 for fast pass and if you don’t get there fast pass you’re screwed! As someone with family memberships for Six Flags, Hershey Park, Legoland and CedarFair, we regularly travel to all the parks from Florida to Massachusetts to Ohio and I’ve never been to a park that allowed that many people in, it was packed! I mean, beyond packed! Everything had a long line, we made it through 2 mazes and gave up when the fast pass lines were as long as the GA lines for the Halloween attractions😢 It was stressful, that many people and large groups pushing through you and kids, and then they’re just stopping in the walkways while groups of teenagers congregated everywhere without supervision and on top of that I’m walking with my kids smelling weed burning everywhere. Get it together Six Flags, I grew up near Wild world, that became Adventure World before finally Six Flags, we stopped going there years ago because of the fights and violence from groups of teenagers and young adults, now they’re closing it for good 😢😢😭 This place has the same vibes! I do want to come back maybe when it’s not so busy, rides looked awesome and almost all of them were operating, not sure I even saw any rides out of commission which is good coming from Six flagsFlags America where you’re lucky if 50% were operating that day and the shops and decorations were dilapidated and look like they survived a tornado, but unfortunately with that many people, every ride had a 60-180min wait, even the stores had long lines to even get in and don’t even try to get food, those lines were ridiculous, at least there was an occasional opening at the drink stands where the lines were maybe a few minutes, I actually felt like a 🤡 waiting to get my cups scanned when people were just walking up from the side filling up their cups😡 employee couldn’t do anything, I don’t think she could even see them😡 by 830 the coke was out of syrup and there was no ice, I told the lady working but she didn’t understand what I was telling her, she just smiled and shook her head to and down. Thankfully they were fully staffed though, most parks can’t get enough employees to work which ends up with closed attractions and concessions. Kudos for that! As for Halloween, get there early and get out when the sun goes down, we gave up at 9pm, after finally picking up a bags from the stroller rentals and getting out of the park it was 10pm and the lines to get in the park were absolutely ridiculous and long, I don’t know what those people are expecting at that time, by the time they get through security and front gate they’re going to be in for a world of hurt when they actually see the lines inside😱

I’ve been visiting Six Flags Great Adventure for over five years, and the park has improved a lot during that time. Still, with the departure of the Golden Kingdom and some rides, plus the removal of Green Lantern, the park feels like it’s missing a piece of its identity. The new ride, Flash: Vertical Velocity, already feels like a staple — it fits right in, as if it’s been here for years. The park also has plenty of room for expansion, and I’m optimistic about its future. Top Rides (in my opinion): • Flash: Vertical Velocity • El Toro • Nitro • Jersey Devil Amenities: Refill stations are spread evenly throughout the park, though they sometimes carry a faint vomit smell (thankfully, being outdoors makes it manageable). Bathrooms are generally clean when you find them, but they could be distributed more evenly across the park. Food: The in-park restaurants are okay, but if you want better options, it’s worth leaving the park. Just head down Mammoth Lane — there are plenty of fast-food and dining choices nearby. Waterpark: The waterpark isn’t really worth it. It’s often crowded, and there are much better options in the tri-state area, like DreamWorks Water Park. Passes: If you’re looking to buy a season pass, the current Gold Pass (2025) is the best value. The Platinum Pass mainly adds VIP entrance access but costs significantly more, making it hard to justify. Looking Ahead – 2027 Ride: I’m really looking forward to seeing what the park does with the new ride coming in 2027. It’s rumored to be massive. Originally, the plan was to use Kingda Ka’s old plot of land, but construction has shifted into the parking lot instead. This means both Kingda Ka’s former site and Green Lantern’s old plot are still available for future additions. They could go big with another major thrill ride, or even repurpose one area into a new kiddie section — with Kingda Ka’s circular space better suited for a family area, and Green Lantern’s former plot fitting more naturally for another coaster.

​We recently visited the safari with our grandkids and had a fantastic time. We especially enjoyed riding on the old army trucks, which took us right through the different animal exhibits. The ride was not only entertaining for the kids but also very informative for all of us. Considering how much fun we had, it was a very reasonably priced outing for the whole family. It was such a great experience that we're already planning to go back again next year.

It was incredibly great! I had the opportunity to visit both acquatic and roller coaster parks and I loved it. The water park has a bunch of attractions for all the kids and adults. There is also a large pool with waves. There is lockers for all your personal belongings. Now the roller coaster park was amazing. I went with a few friends +25 yo. And we had a great time. Every roller coaster ride was extremely enjoyable and scary. There is also a few restaurants. I will suggest to go on weekday because is a very crowded place. And the parking is 35$ general , 50$ preferential.

As long as you come on the right day and time, you'll have a good experience. Overall, I think its a fun place to come with family and friends, especially during fright fest where the actors and actresses do such a great job at scaring you! It makes it so much fun and the atmosphere is always nice as its well lit and nicely decorated. I love the little shops as well, giving it its own personal town vibe. Been here a ton of times and have had a mix of different experiences. The park during weekends has been over crowded with some lines taking up 2.5-3.5hrs - no exaggeration. Makes the experience not so enjoyable. Ive had great experiences as well when theres minimal lines and all rides are open. It's been luck and chance a lot of the time. Sometimes half the rides are closed due to the park being understaffed, sometimes every ride is open and it's great.

Hello, My name is Valeria Castro. I would like to make a formal complaint and get a full or AT LEAST a partial refund. Me and my fiancé were BIG six flags' fans - we had passes and we would go almost every weekend before COVID hit. We spent endless amount of time and money at Six Flags because it was amazing, we loved it, and we never had any issues. (see images attached) But out of everything FRIGHT FEST was my favorite, and we would go every year. The WHOLE POINT of Fright Fest was to GET SCARED. Six Flags was known to have its Fright Fest and be SCARY. I'm not sure who the event coordinator is but there needs be to an immediate change to the Fright Fest event. I remember it being amazing, your "ghouls" were what brought the Fright to Fright Fest AND the mazes were so much more worth it and fun. I loved when the Dead Mans Party would release the "Ghouls" to run around the park and start scaring guests. Agan that's what FRIGHT FEST is all about and its how you advertise it!!! However, this year guys - bad, bad, bad. Me and my fiancé (Sebastian Villada) spoke so greatly about Fright Fest and Six Flags to our group just to be disappointed at what it WASN'T. First things first, you need to get better line control for the mazes. People fighting because you clump together the General Admission and Fast Pass is UNBELIEVABLE. I paid $130 to be clumped with General Admission and separated at the end - like TOTALLY not worth it - AND THERE WERE PEOPLE CUTTING AND STAFF DID NOTHING!!!!! Second, what happened to the mazes being "scary". There was BARELY ANY staff in these mazes and when I asked "What happened with the mazes? Why are there no staff in them scaring people?" an employee said, "I don't know, I've been here for 2 months." Like excuse me. I don't care how long you've been there I paid to be scared and I'm walking around an empty warehouse with Halloween decorations. And the Stranger Things maze - HORRIBLE. Like to have employees sit there and "enact" the scenes - I would rather watch the show at home. NOT SCARY. Third, "scare zones" really guys..... Are you kidding me? Why isn't that advertised? Why wasn't this plastered on the TV's and social media pages? Why wasn't it mentioned ANYWHERE that fright fest changed due to complaints of people who would bring small children, and they would get scared and followed by employees because THAT'S WHAT FRIGHT FEST WAS ALL ABOUT!!!!!!! So, you jeopardized your event and potentially lost A LOT of business because you decided to change a program that many people loved because that's the POINT. But now I have to walk into a "scare zone" if I want to get scared? What's the fun in that? It defeats the entire purpose of Fright Fest. The Marketing and Event coordinator truly ruined the Fright Fest experience for me, and I will never be attending this event or wasting my money again. You lost multiple LOYAL customers (that includes all my friends and family).

Ap says "snap a picture with santa" Makes it sound like you can snap your own phot but you can't. There's a photographer and you have to put your phone away. Another example of how they try to deceive their "guests" Also not many rides open. Also said if we buy the phot disc with Santa we could both use ththe r code or phone # to get the pics for each of us with santa. Not true. Santa isn't even an option on the link just rides so have to use qr and can only use it once. Lies ot poorly trained employees? And nothing on there if it doesn't work who to contact

8 weeks of my phone laying in the grass at the start of Nitro. Six flags disappointed me because they will NOT have maintenance pick up dropped items, even if you provide guidance on where it is exactly. I wish I could just go and get it myself. The customer service email contact just has lost and found tel me they don't have it each time I email them again. They will not advocate for their patrons. Disappointed.

We came here on a Saturday and it got quite busy at night. We purchased tickets for fright fest and was charged the extra amount yet they had cancelled the fright fest preview and we had ended up paying more for nothing. The guest services people were extremely rude and very unhelpful. They gave us attitude and could not help us at all with getting any compensation or refunds when we were promised an event that we paid for that got cancelled. We bought flash pass and 100% worth it if you don't want to wait in lines, and try to go in the morning when it's less busy for all the popular rides. Six flags is very expensive when you add on the flash pass and we likely will not go back for a long time. Esp after this event with getting charged for an event we did not receive and also rude customer service it wasn't a great.

I recently went to Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ, and had an amazing time! The park was easy to get into, especially if you arrive early. It gets noticeably busier in the early evening and nighttime, mainly because of Fright Fest. My friend and I had a fantastic time and didn't have to wait long to ride some of the roller coasters. We managed to go on seven in total, including Kingda Ka, which is currently the tallest roller coaster in the world!

Visited this theme park after a couple of years and it felt bigger than I remembered. Not all of the rides were open (for instance Superman was closed for maintenance and I actually love that ride) but I did go on a few others. The wait times were very minimal too (probably because it was a weekday) but I started the day at hurricane harbor since it went up to 94 degrees and I have to say walking around six flags after that was tough. Regardless it was still fun and the best part was a huge funnel cake sundae that my boyfriend and I tried to finish but couldn't. Now that we have season passes I look forward to visiting again, maybe for fright fest!

Been coming here for years, there are rides for everyone, kids as well as adults. The young ones enjoyed all the rides: El Toro, Nitro and Kingda ka being one of their faves. There are also a lot more food options now, compared to before. The food is pretty good considering it's in a theme park. The park itself was very clean and I liked that they had multiple speakers everywhere. They were playing a good range of music from teeny bopper songs to alternative rock. If you have the season pass, you'll get discounts on food and merch, so might as well get it if you're planning to visit more than once, or planning to visit the other parks: safari and hurricane harbor. The bathrooms are extremely clean, and nice and cold which is greatly appreciated especially on a hot summer day. If you're not big on rides, theres a variety of fun carnival games and restaurants/bars available. Get the orange refillable drink bottle, if you can for free soda, juice, blue Powerade refills. There are multiple refill stations, pretty much any food/bar station that you see. The only thing that I didn't like was that you can't enter the safari anymore through the main park. You would have to drive there, so I would suggest going there first since the ride itself is only about 40-45 minutes. Also, they should add more benches along the main rides for the parents/guardians waiting on the children.

It's been years since my last visit. I had a great time! We all purchased seasonal passes. We got these cool free cups with unlimited refills, discounts on food, souvenirs, and access to all parks. We bought the diamond package which upgraded us to platinum $115. Great Deal!! We got there early to avoid lines. Well when you get there early, some rides will not be operating. We made our rounds based on their website for open locations. The kids were able to get on a few rides several times. I'm not much of a roller coasters person. I did enjoy the safari ride and watching all the different animals. The tour guide was very informative and funny. The food was delicious. Chicken tenders were big and fries were plenty. Service was fast. We stayed all day due to rides opening at different times. We enjoyed it very much. Looking forward to a great summer at Great Adventure!!

One of my favorite theme parks ever! My sister and I usually come 2-3 times a year from Long Island and it is absolutely worth the drive. There is a huge selection of roller coasters, flat roses and stuff for children. I always buy my tickets online as you get a pretty decent sale price compared to at the gate. There is a lot to do, but on a hot day, the lines are SO long. I was here yesterday and it was 90 degrees and there was a lack of A/C and/or misters while online, so it was really tough. Other than that, I had a positive experience. Food is pretty expensive - it was $60 for two meals and a reusable cup for free refills for the day. I actually do recommend the chicken fingers from yum yum cafe and getting the reusable cup for free refills all day - trust me, it pays for itself. Can't wait for my next visit back!

How do you celebrate the birthday of an adventurous and fearless boy? Take a trip to Six Flags Great Adventure. I have not been in at least a decade but had mixed feelings about my young son riding rollercoasters. I certainly did not volunteer, but his dad could not wait to satisfy his need for speed and thrills. Those two had a blast. They rode The Joker, Superman, among others while I people watched lol. As first-time season pass holders, we had to get oriented with the perks. You cannot beat the admission to all Six Flags theme and water parks, preferred parking, VIP entrance, 4 skip the line passes for the season, discounts on food and SOME merchandise, and the drink bottle which quenched our thirst with unlimited refills. However, we had to locate Guest Services to retrieve our season drink bottle and the Flash Pass, which we had to purchase in addition. Thankfully, Carlos was incredibly helpful with the registration process and jumped into action when he learned it was our son's birthday to make it more memorable. The food at Main Street Pub was pretty standard and overpriced. We ordered the chicken wings and fries. It took us a few minutes to realize that we had to place our orders at the left side of the counter, then walk over to the right side of the counter to hand over our receipt for them to release our meals. It did not help that there was no signage and the employee had to work both sides alternatively. I was surprised to see a Build-a-Bear Workshop on the premises and so we walked in at the request of the birthday boy. Carra gave my son one-on-one attention to bring his new furry friend to life. He had to choose a character, create the birth certificate, record his voice for the birthday bear, select a heart and audio, choose a scent, and the attire. After four hours, we tried to head over to the safari but they closed at 4 pm. Boo! We should have gone there first, so we got back to our offsite hotel right before the downpour. Our exploration has only just begun, we are already planning our next road trip. Will it be upstate NY, NJ, Maryland, or the West Coast?

Not sure what happened but 6 flags has totally declined! I mean the rides are rickety and crackling. Got off most the rides with my head and neck hurting cause it was jerking up my neck like ping pong. I never recall the rides feeling this way. The rides and washed out and not as vibrant as they once were. The park can use some revitalization. Surprisingly all the lines were short. Food expensive and tasteless. Staff members were courteous I must say.

Bought tickets and photo pass for my kids' birthdays- half the rides we wanted to go on were closed. Only one of the ones we got on had the photos (so waste of money there). Not one employee emailed all day- or did they know any answers to questions I asked. Went to eat at one of the cafes and witnessed a fight between staff and security had to be called. Only one character interaction total- my kids were so stoked for good rides. Was severely disappointed.

Heard from the theme park YouTube channels I'm subscribed to that they're going to be retiring and removing the Kingda Ka coaster. I've still never gotten the chance to ride it and now I most likely never will. Another memorable experience to last a lifetime that I'll never get to have.

My last review was 10 years ago wow, and I gave them 4 stars. Yesterday was a great experience as well with new rides since my last review. I was bummed Superman was closed for the day, but outside of that everything else I was happy with. Nitro still remains the MVP and the best coaster at this park. Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth is fun - I find it really relaxing when you find that zero G feeling as you're floating in the air before you fall. The Joker is one of my favorite "newish" rides to the park. The only downfall is that they can only load 8 riders at a time, so sometimes the line can be really long for quite a short ride - but the ride is unique and one of my favorite types where the car freely spins and rotates to the momentum of the ride. Medusa and Green Lantern are both really smooth, but I don't get much "Gs" out of them - but please note I am a pretty active coaster rider. The Jersey Devil coaster is unique in that it's the first coaster I've ever ridden where it is a single rider per row (single rail coaster), therefore they can only load 12 riders at a time, but 2 cars running. I really enjoyed this one. El Toro is a classic, and that first drop is honestly amazing and awesome - but the rest of the ride gives me an actual headache bc of the shakiness/impact during the ride which is pretty common for wooden coasters. My top 3 coasters are Nitro, Joker, and Jersey Devil based on yesterday's visit. We were lucky on a Thursday, without flash pass we were able to hit all the rides we wanted to - and we even hopped to Hurricaine Harbor. Beer/drinks are about $20 including tax/tip, food is as expected about $17-25 per entree - I didn't partake in any food or drink though, so can't comment on that. Overall, I was pleased that after a decade there were new rides for me to enjoy after being a season pass holder for a few years pre-pandemic.

We went for Freight Fest Saturday, October 26. Granted a weekend this close to Halloween was not ideal but the entire experience was horrendous. We paid for premium parking and several parking attendants had not idea where to direct us. The park was grossly oversold. Every line, rides and Halloween attractions were over an hour. They were severely under staffed. We searched for a long time for find someone to help us locate a ticket redemption center and after 20 minutes found it ourselves because there were no staff to help. Additionally it was never made clear we needed to first redeem our tickets for a wrist band before we could enter the Halloween attractions. We waited in line for an attraction for 30min just to be told one we reached the front that we needed a wrist band. At no point while entering the park or in emails during ticket purchase online were we instructed of this. After three and a half hours we walked through one haunted maze, rode one roller coaster and left extremely disappointed. This was clearly just one enormous money grab for the park. We will never go again.

This is a great theme park and if you go during the week there are very minimal lines. I would still suggest getting the Flash Pass, because it just makes everything easier. We got there at 2 pm on a Tuesday and did all the rollercoasters and fun rides and left by 730 pm. I would suggest not bringing any type of bag if you don't need to. However with the Flash Pass you do get free lockers on most rides.

This place is amazing great rides and entertainment. My little brother in law enjoyed it

I used to love coming to Six flags every summer and for every fright fest. However, I have seen the quality of the park gone down over the years. The prices of the tickets and food go up but the food quality is sub par and there are rides that are closed more often. Not sure if it's for maintenance or lack of workers. I really do enjoy their funnel cakes which is what I look forward to every time I visit six flags. I also love their gift shops since there are always nice merchandise to take back home as gifts.

Went yesterday for Fright Fest and daytime rides. THIS PLACE IS DECLINING EACH YEAR! Barely any scare actors outside and in the haunted houses. Very disappointed with the sacred actors in the haunted houses. You can tell the workers called out. The Texas Chainshaw house only had one actor the whole time! Customer service was THE WORST! Anytime I asked a simple question, the only response I got was "I don't know." I tried to purchase the Ultimate Flash Pass for the rides via WiFi, and the internet didn't work! Even the workers didn't have stable WiFi that day. One worker said if we couldn't purchase the $200 flash pass online that they will swipe our card. But, after multiple attempts of trying to purchase the tickets online, we went to the Supervisor, Alexa, last night and she provided the worst customer service!! She knew everyone couldn't purchase the flash pass, but her attitude came off very nonchalant and brushed us off. She didn't go above and beyond to make the moment right. You can tell she didn't care about her job! Definitely won't be going there again.

This was one of my favorite places growing up. Its glory days are long over. How the heck do you charge an ungodly amount of money for admission and $45 to park and have the marquee rides not working and half of the park under construction (note I'm working at a camp this summer, and it was not my choice to come here)? The food choices are slim with virtually nothing for vegetarians or health conscious individuals (theme parks aren't for diets I get it but there's individuals with medical concerns that it's a lifestyle not a choice) and $25 for two slices of disgusting pizza to boot. I have a lot of happy family memories from the 90s but this park is all corporate greed and now it's a hard pass for me.

They closed so many rides and are closing KingdaKa too. The park has become a shell of itself. I don't see any reason for coming any more unfortunately and will not be renewing my season pass. I grew up going here so it really pains me to see the park fall into such decay.

I say all of this but I will absolutely go back again. What's Wrong With SFGA? --Unfortunately, the problem with Six Flags, Great Adventure is the fact that there is just no consistency in theme at this park. If there was better cohesion it would really just make this place more out of this world. --This happened to us twice, but there should be a indicated handicap/accessible row. When you go with a group of 5 and you have to split yourself in rows, but a group on that handicap line take your seat, it ruins the placement. With that said, they should also be somebody that helps place people in certain rows before the lines. It causes a ruckus and mess and ride flow is not properly utilized --Single Rider lines should be implemented to improve ridership --It's not Disney World and I get that, but damn, half the workers looked miserable and projected that attitude. --The moment it hit 8pm, and I kid you not, the Dip N Dots lady actually slammed the screen in our faces as we ran up, which sucked cause we got stuck on a ride. --The locker situation needs a solution cause this I imagine is pretty hellish on a busy day So, Why Would I Go Back? --The rides themselves are pretty remarkable. The kid themed area is also really coming together. If you are a thrill seeker this is definitely for you. --Season Pass is EXTREMELY worth it. If you plan on going to Six Flags twice, you basically break even. --The park is HUGE. I got there early to end, and still didn't get to ride everything. Def worth a re-visit. --They have mobile order for food, and that's pretty damn handy. Food options are decent (can't bring outside food though). --Not everyone was miserable. We met some security folks and they were actually pretty nice :) --KINGDA-KA & NITRO BAYBEEE Overall, it was a very fun day. Sure there were snags and it's easy to harp on the negative but there were many positives that override the negative. Don't expect Disney or Universal and you'll have a great time!

Would love to give this amusement park 5 stars for the amazing group of friends we went with that truly made this a 5 star experience and we had a blast. Oh, and Kingda Ka!!! That was it's own experience and what made it worth it, wow. Sadly, if I were to take that away, I quickly realized this park is unfortunately as advertised. There aren't many roller coasters besides nitro, Superman, Kingda Ka, joker and a couple of others. Oh sadly, about 3 of them were broken/not working so that was also a bummer. Being a huge fan of roller coasters and amusement parks this one just doesn't hit the mark for me. As expected, it's filled with overpriced food and drinks which I don't mind and my review isn't about that but the rides and full experience should at least balance themselves out. Some lines were kinda long but they did move along pretty quick. I do love the lockers, you can pay for an all day locker and move around as you please so you don't necessarily have to have a designated purse holder haha. We had both! Our last ride of the day was Kingda Ka which we almost rode again one more time without doing the line but we were sadly the last ones to ride since this also broke down as people waited in line for their turn. We headed over to the drop of soon and that also was closed/not working. They made up with beautiful fireworks and honestly we had a blast. But what you pay for entrance and parking is quite high for a place that constantly has a ride breaking down.

We had a very mediocre time here. I live in Florida but grew up in NJ and worked at Sfga in my teens. I like to come back with my kids when I visit family. Unbeknownst to me, the day we chose to go is when apparently every school in the tristate area had a field trip here. There should have at least been a warning when purchasing the online tickets that our experience would be impacted by the sheer amount of students. (And rude ones to boot. Cutting lines on every ride we were on) Some rides had wait times of 3 hours, most rides only had one car (coaster?) going at a time which definitely made the wait time longer. many rides were closed. Many many many were closed. It was certainly a subpar experience. I'd be happy to never come here again. I do expect wait times and such but they're cloak and dagger with how long a wait is and have nothing warning you about if it's a 90 minute wait or a 3 hour wait. Also the cheapest parking is $48. Wtf. Seriously GA?? Not a good day, that's for sure.

Part of the lure is the season pass, which allows us to visit Six Flags parks around the country, with the dining passes. SFGA can be hit or miss, with the roller coasters not all running on any day that we've been this season. It's best to visit during the week, as the crowds are not as plentiful as they are on the weekends. My kids love the wings, at Jersey devil, the pasta and meatball sub, and Grandma's ado has good food. Hopefully the sky rails are working the next time we go.

I attended Fright Fest on its last day, November 3, and had a terrible experience. Many rides were closed, and I reach there around 6pm it felt like a waste of money. There were also very few Halloween actors to create a spooky atmosphere. Overall, it was a disappointing visit, and I would like a refund.

If you are looking to have fun in New Jersey this might be the place to go (maybe the only place). The world's tallest roller coaster is here, King Da Ka; though the ride itself was only a minute, it was fun as hell. The other roller coasters like Batman, skull mountain, green lantern and superman were also amazing and innovative, 100% recommend going here for a fun time (get there early as possible in the morning).

Customer service is terrible here! You expect to have a fun time with your purchase and be appreciated but instead you're treated worthless by staff members. While on rides it's hit or miss if you'll be able to get your photos from your experience. Staff even intentionally hit me with the safety bars when boarding/exiting certain rides, which could've resulted in serious personal injuries apart from the bar causing bruising (I could've fallen or even worse). I was not satisfied when trying to redeem my food vouchers purchase from the venues because they stop serving well before the scheduled closing time. And as I made an inquiry with passing security guards as to where customer support would be located, due to the poor service the guy working security started to size me up as if his only intentions were to cause physical injuries against me; in order to remove me from the park. While asking questions for support at the entrance, they showed no concern for me and only intended to provoke a reaction outta me; especially when they asked to view my season passes but then tried to withhold them from me even when the supervisor was called over, who was also dishonest with me about compensation for the issues I had experienced. (it appears they only long to call security on their customers).

The first thing is that there is no communication between the staff and management. I purchased an all day drink pass and every shop that I went to did not have the cups for the all-day drink pass. After visiting 10 different shops because everyone was out of the cups I was sent to guest relations to get my money back and since they didn't want to give me my money back, they instead found cups for me. If all the shops are out of the cups they should told management instead of sending customers on a while goose chase trying to find which shops had them. This is definitely the last time I visit. I would rather go to Dorney Park or Hershey Park even if it's further. Dont waste your money and time here. Other places may be farther but they offer a better customer experience.

Came for the holiday lights and it was a lovely experience! No lines, clean park and beautiful service and holiday lights! Purchased the season pass around the holidays and took advantage of the holiday lights!

I recently lost my iPad at six flags and I filed a report and even called. They told me that they would let me know once they found it but on find my you could see that it was still there. They would also always tell me they"clean out their lockers". A couple days passed and I needed my iPad to work and so I called again at the lost and found. The girl that answered me had a nasty attitude. I tired to explain my situation and that I could see it on find my and told her if I could just in there myself but she said I needed a seasonal pass or buy a ticket and again "they clean their lockers". I called again to a different service and they lady had transferred me to the lost and found and they hung up. so I tired emailing them and again they told me the same thing. I told them I was gonna go their myself and from where I live its a three hour drive. Once I got their I explained to them my situation and even showed them the location my iPad was at and they did not let me pass, I even told them someone could accompany me if they didn't trust me but they denied and said I had to pay. I needed my iPad so I payed a ticket. once I got in the park I went to search for it on my own. when I went to the lockers I payed the sound on and it was in the lockers where I put it last time I was there. I tired to go to lost and found and they lady said they weren't open yet and didn't hear me out. I went to two other workers and the told me to go to lost and found and I told them they were closed so they sent me to the security guys. I asked them and they told me they would send someone to help me I waited for ten minutes and no one came. I called my mother who had accompanied me and waited outside the gates and I told her no one was helping me and she had to go to the front and ask someone to go to me. When the person did come I showed them and played the sound that it was my iPad and I left to go home. They opened at 5pm and I left at 5:30pm. How hard was it to let me in and have someone come with me to find my iPad that was in THEIR LOCKERS that they would always tell me "they clean out". Overall customer service was very bad. I had to take matters into my own hands because they failed to help me out and I had to pay 80 dollars just to enter and find it myself when they could've easily checked themselves.

I went today with my sis and bro and we saw 5 or 6 roller coasters closed. The green lantern was so uncomfortable on the seat and there's a part where it hurt your head smh such a downgrade from scream machine and El Toro was the WORST roller coaster in the park it was not fun at all because it was very painful felt like the brain was playing bumper cars with the skull smh. Update: El Toro gave me a concussion.

I haven't been to Six Flags since college and boy have things changed. There are two memories that really stick out to me for Six Flags. One) There was a coaster that bobbed your head sideways so much that if you were wearing earrings, they would cut your ears so they asked us to take off our earrings. Two) Fright Fest was so scary I screamed so hard I made the little kids cry. Now, everything is different. The rides have been revamped and the super hero theme is strong. The park looks smaller. Everything is dilapidated. Food is really expensive. No water bottles allowed. Nothing is allowed on the rides such as glasses, wallets in pockets, keys in pockets, fanny packs, etc. I thought the ride rules were a bit extreme and that they wanted to rip people off by forcing them to rent lockers but the rules are there for good reason. I went on The Green Lantern and the workers did not tell me to take off my glasses. Yep, in a split second those prescription glasses flew off my face. Scariest moment of the day! Luckily, I caught my glasses with my foot and somehow made it off the ride with them in tact and not crushed. A few do's and don'ts from my present day Six Flags experience: -Do rent a locker or have someone who is not riding hold your stuff. -Don't pre-purchase parking lot vouchers. The online price looks cheaper but after the online fees, you will end up spending more. -Do bring a hat and sunscreen. It can get hot and sunny. -Don't buy park food. Pack a sandwich and eat it before you enter the park. Once you leave, there is a WaWa nearby and you can fill up on all sorts of food for a fraction of the amusement park prices. -Do go during off season. We went right after Spring Break and before Summer. Sure not every ride is open yet but every ride will have zero wait time or at most a 15 min line. Enjoy! My votes are with Disney now but if you need a local coaster fix, Six Flags is the place for you.

Almost every exciting ride was closed the day I came, and they made it nearly impossible to find out before entering which rides are running and which rides are closed for the day. It was very disappointing.

I ended up missing out on a group outing because I couldn't get off of work on a certain day. Decided to take this past friday off and go with my partner. Advice if you don't have transportation for getting there and coming back into the city (which that fell through last second) I recommend buying the bus package deals through NJ transit and saving a few bucks. I failed on that as well. Bus tickets sold independently of packages don't go on sale till 1pm the day of traveling. They don't usually sell out from what I was told and I think there are more than 1 bus because coming back late at night I found out the hard way as we strolled up to an already enormous line that there were at least 2 more buses behind that one. Thank god. Imagine being stranded in the middle of nowhere New Jersey late at night. It works out. Anyway, aside from the travails of getting there Six Flags is great. I think I was there maybe once when I was like 3 or 4 years old and the only memory I have is a home video of me sobbing with one of my cousins in a baby helicopter ride. Foreshadowing what was to come in life. I'm not a huge ride person and never was so it was going to be an experience. The park was decked out for Halloween and gets more interesting at night time once the sun sets. Way easier to get on rides before 6pm and highly recommend just gunning for whatever you want to go on early in the day. We started with the worst and went on KingDa Ka. It's the tallest roller coaster in the world and possibly also the fastest. Over 460 feet high and jets you out at over 120 mph. Highly recommend you listen to the instructions and don't lean forward. (Of course I ignored those when faced with my imminent peril). Yes, I cut my lip open and bled on the ride. Yes, it was entirely my fault for not listening. Yes, it was hella fun. I'm not entirely sure I would do it again because it was literally one of the most terrifying 59 seconds of my life. But it's also only a minute long ride and the scariest part is weirdly waiting for it to start and going up the ride. I also experienced: the Superman, Green Lantern, some kind of twisty upside down thing that looks way more intimidating than is, the tea cups (I needed a break), Toro, and the Skyscreamer. I was thankful that we spent way too much money on $15 beer breaks in between to recover and that we ran out of time to wait for the Wonder Woman ride because that ish looks utterly terrifying and maybe a contender for scaring the bejeezes out of me. As a whole, it was a great adrenaline rush. I'd go again and check out other rides. I'm still recovering from this trip though. Maybe we'll revisit this in the Spring. lol.

They have no idea how to manage traffic. Stuck in the parking lot at closing for 1.5 hours not moving at all.

Avoid this park. I have been coming to this amusement park for years and it has gone downhill. First off the park is short staffed so a lot of the restaurants and rides are closed. The few restaurants open only have one person working them so the lines are out of control. Second I purchased a flash pass for $100 which you have to use your phone to access so make sure your battery is fully charged this is the dumbest idea for a flash pass also half of the rides were closed or delayed. Third customer service was horrible at the Batman ride. I purchased a flash pass to skip the lines but the attendant on duty name Devious did not let anyone through the line because he was being petty with the people in front of me so it resulted in the flash pass holders suffering and having to wait extra long for something we paid extra for. Robert was very nice and came over and diffused the situation. I went to resort services to let them know about my horrible experience and was dismissed. Word of advice if you can find somewhere else to go please do it.

There is a $30 general parking fee not advertised on their website whatsoever. It's a normal parking lot.

Came to Six Flags with a large group of friends on our way to New York City a few years ago. We also have Six Flags in the Los Angeles area, where I'm from, so I'm familiar with the brand. I think our park is superior and has better coasters. That being said, our group had a blast! Besides rides there were characters walking around. I snapped a cute photo of me with Batman's sidekick, Robin! Our group had dinner in the grassy area with the picnic tables. There was lots of room for everyone and it was quite comfy. This is a wonderful group activity. Happy we got to try out a Six Flags location outside our hometown.

We planned a fun day at Six Flags. AFTER we paid our entrance fee we discovered over 15 rides and attractions are closed today, however every gift shop is open. We walked through the Wild Walkway to find one sad cheetah. Maybe they should post signs outside the gate notifying guests of closures. We come every summer and this is very disappointing. Two stars for cleanliness and good weather!! Think hard before wasting your money. PS - eat before you come ONE slice of pizza is $17!

Wow, I guess a lot can change in 7 years. I have very fond memories of this theme park and have visited throughout my childhood and some of my adulthood. Unfortunately, the consensus my boyfriend and I made was that this place really is in need of some upkeep. Don't get me wrong, I still feel safe at this theme park, as crazy as the rides look. And I don't know if this happened because of COVID or what, but the general appearance of this park is not being taken into the consideration. The parts of the park that I went to were clean, however, they still had the Christmas "Holiday at the Park" display out that people take photos in front of (IT'S JULY). And when I was on the Batman ride waiting to get onto the track to be let off, it appears they are using a part of the ride to store random things, like boxes, a ladder, construction items, I even saw an empty tub of cat litter they were reusing. I would have taken a photo of it if cell phones were allowed on rides. It seems like they don't really care about the appearance of this park anymore. Parking is pretty straight forward, general parking is everywhere, further up closer to the entrance is preferred parking, and even further up from that is Handicap parking. I'm unsure if handicap customers need to pay for preferred to access that section. They are very strict about what they let into the park, which can really impact your first impression. You're not allowed to bring food or drinks, but be sure to bring an empty water bottle because they do have refillable water stations available. And if you don't feel like grabbing your water they still give out cold cups of water for free! By the way, a can of coke from the vending machine is $6 (aka price gouging). If you have a bag expect that security will be looking through it, all of it. They stopped me because my medication container is apparently glass (I truly had no idea). I tried to explain to security that it's for my medication. One security guard was fine with it and the second one refused, and even when told it was for my medication he said "she's not gonna die without it." Like...??? Sir, how do you know that? It's incredibly jarring and they do not appear sensitive at all to medical needs. The park offers all-day lockers, which will definitely make your life easier since you can't bring anything on rides. I bought a $10 option that allowed me to relocate the locker wherever I needed. The downside though is that nobody is around to help if you get assigned to a sticky/gross locker, which happened with our first one. Once in the park I could tell a lot of the rides changed. Some of them had a little pre-show of sound, music, videos, to entertain the riders as they waited in line. I remember this for Dark Knight and Batman. There was nothing this time. The Dark Knight was also missing the Heath Ledger laugh sound effect it used to have, the ride appeared to be partially broken because it was completely silent, there was no sound at all! Everybody who had gone on the ride before seemed really confused when they got off. Without the sounds you literally have no idea what's going on except that you're in a pitch black cat and mouse coaster. The Metropolis ride was new for me. I thought it was going to be like the Buzz Lightyear ride at Disney, but appeared more like a rush job. The ride doesn't at all tell you what to shoot or any back story. It throws you in and afterwards takes a photo of each individual shooter, which only includes a portion of your face or body. They don't seem to care that it takes poorly cropped, blurry, photos of their guests. The Skull Mountain ride used to be a fun rave-like coaster, but now is completely dark and again silent. No strobe lights, no sound, no fun. I was sad, this used to be my favorite ride! Some rides I previously enjoyed were closed: Kingda Ka (probably bc of the rain), Houdini's Great Escape (no idea why this was closed). I didn't reattempt the Green Lantern because when it first opened it made me sick, maybe because all that force is being directed at your stomach? They also had a few animals as you walked through the park. I felt awful for the owl, as this type is nocturnal and appeared to be really hot with nowhere to cool off. Why is a nocturnal animal being forced to interact so close with guests in the middle of the day in almost 90 degree weather? How is that okay? I got a Flash Pass Gold but realized once I got there it really wasn't necessary. I went on July 5th. I'm unsure if this is just because it was the day after a holiday or if it's because there was a chance of rain (it drizzled a little bit midday). Overall, this park is fun for thrill seekers, with not much for adults who don't enjoy as crazy rides. I do not feel at all that it was worth the price and I get the general impression that this park is being neglected, which I hope isn't the case for the animals. I likely won't be back anytime soon.

Six people spent six hours there and it cost us just over $600 and that was even after we lucked into free parking (saved $40). The weather was nice today, most of the ride lines were pretty short, we even got to ride Congo Rapids twice without exiting the ride.

Six Flags is not my favorite place, but I'd like to focus this review on a star employee. The other day, I was with a guest who fell and scraped his back. I wanted to check in with first aid to make double sure everything was ok. An EMT named Peyton helped us out. She promptly went outside to inspect any potential injuries, asked him a variety of questions to make sure he was alright, and applied a band aid. She was very kind, professional, and took her job very seriously. Definitively deserving of recognition.

Had a great time at six flags however I do have a complaint. We purchased season passes so when we were going into the park they took our photo and said have a nice day. Later I found out that my season pass comes with a ton of stuff that none of the staff members let us know about. The staff needs training !

Service has gone to drain. New software system at check out is extremely slow. Cashier over charge for food even though you have plan No veg choice. Taken away vegg burger and pizza away

Attention to detail or customer service is a weakness for this organization. I followed the process to cancel my pass as I had meet the expectations of the contract. The company has not stoped bill. I have tried to get a person on line to help but there is no customer service. Stay away from this organization as they do not value customer
