Great food. Great atmosphere. Great place to watch sports and the burgers are excellent. I had the bourbon glazed burger with 50/50 sweet fries and tots. My wife had the fish tacos and she loved them.

Google
What a cool café! Six North not only offers coffee (partnered with Kaldi’s) and brunch options but also a selection of Nomadic teas. I got a special on the easel, the Almond Joy Latte, which was super sweet and exactly what I wanted. I also got the salmon avocado toast, which was absolutely delicious. The sandwich was structured with the avocado on bottom, capers in the middle, and salmon on top so that everything was sealed well and wouldn’t fall apart. The acidity of the capers, mild earthiness of the avocado, and saltiness of the salmon made for an amazing pairing. I will definitely get it again next time I come back. The servers were all very polite, and everything was clean and neat. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, the way a morning café should be. Thanks so much, Six North!

Google
Great coffee! Healthy, good tasting food! Excellent service! A good place to get some work done, or just hang out.

Google
Excellent food. I ordered a BLT with gluten free bread and it was tasty and the bread was not dry at all! I really enjoyed this sandwich, and I would order it again. The tomato bisque was wonderful as well. However, there was a spot of mold on a pretzel bite in another persons meal who I was dining with, and for that reason I’ve detracted a star. Otherwise, the coffee was good and our meals were enjoyable — we would come back!

Google
I ordered the build your own breakfast sandwich and I chose a croissant with eggs and bacon and a strawberry twist smoothie. The croissant was fresh and soft. The eggs like they were scrambled then fried using a mold on the grill. The bacon was snappy versus crispy. The strawberry twist smoothie tasted great and it was filling. This is a cute and clean little cafe.

I stopped by recently and saw the manager yelling at one of the employees right in front of customers. It was unprofessional and honestly uncomfortable to watch. The employee looked nervous, so I told her she was doing a good job just to show some support. After checking other reviews, it’s clear this isn’t a one-time thing. It’s disgusting to see employees being treated any kind of way like that, especially by someone in charge. Management seriously needs to be held accountable.

Google
Usually I like the food here. I've been ordering it for lunch recently at work. Today however, I was about halfway through when I bit down on something hard. It was a STAPLE. It was bent up like it had been used, but that could've just been from me BITING it. Either way, not cool. 😭

Google
The staff was very friendly, and the food was very good! I recommend the Buffalo Chicken Wrap! Perfect amount of blue cheese and buffalo sauce! My only complaint would be that it didn’t seem like our table had been wiped down. However, they were busy, (around 12:30ish), and I don’t think that’s worth a star deduction. Great place, 5 stars!

Yelp
Inside the place looks great! It is clean and plenty of room to sit and enjoy your meal. There are about 4-5 tables outside as well if it is nice outside. Plus, they have drive thru for convenience. I ordered their chicken salad and it was not my favorite. The bread and chicken was fresh, but it was just personal taste I think. However, their potato salad was really good! Their fountain drinks tasted great too and they had Diet Dr Pepper which if ya know ya know lol. Overall, this place is worth trying and service was friendly and extremely fast.

Yelp
I have been a customer at 6 North since their doors opened. I was complementary, kind to Mr. Williams, and even brought in new customers, help to keep his business afloat during Covid and nominated the establishment to the St. Louis Magazine Best. For the past year the food and service has done a spiral downward. I actually wanted to work with them as a customer to allow more chances and opportunity for improvement. Sharing negative actually out of my usual realm as I strongly believe in positivity. I really put forth much effort to share my numerous recent distasteful experiences with Mr Williams by explaining my last order (providing a photo), the order before that and other concerns that I have regarding the coffee. Waited patiently to never received a response. Not to be presumptuous, I was not sure if he received my email or if he had spoke to his manager on duty that I left a message, so with all good intention, I called just a few minutes ago to speak to him . He was so unbelievably rude, cut me off and hung up on me as soon as I said my name. I work with many large and small businesses in St. Louis and the counties, and this was the first arrogance and unwarranted disrespect that I have ever experienced. For me, this is the answer "to what has 6 North Cafe" question . It is well known that " word-of-mouth" is the best advertisement especially in St. Louis.

Yelp
I've never been here when it has been busy! And it wasn't this time either. I've been here for lunch and breakfast, but hadn't been in for quite a while. My husband and I each ordered a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Everything was okay. I think every time I've been, it's been okay. Nothing special. But nothing really wrong. Just very average. I'll probably end up going again at some point - I just don't know how long it will be before that happens.

Yelp
The food was good, but nothing to write home about. Same with the coffee. Service was fine. The atmosphere was loud and busy. Always checking out new places for breakfast, but this one wasn't a home run for me.

Carole F.

Yelp
I ordered a roast beef sandwich for lunch today because it had a lot of extras on it that looked great, but when I got back to the office to eat lunch, the sandwich was missing the roast beef.

Donna A.

Yelp
just had lunch. food was outstanding! The veggies were very fresh, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. I only wish I lived closer, this would definitely be my go-to!

Yelp
Went there this week to get lunch for myself and coworkers. one of them got Cobb salad and enjoyed it, another got honey chicken wrap and loved it. I ordered BLTT and it was very tasty, somehow I did not realize that it was like a club with lettuce and tomato creating a separate tier, I did not feel the need for the extra bread and pulled it out and combined the sandwich in one. delish!

Yelp
Probably my biggest single complaint about most coffee shops. Why is it so hard to make a hot drink actually hot. Unless I go to seven brew coffee, I always have to ask for extra hot. I've been here twice and both times my latte is barely warm. But most would consider a kid temp, I'm not saying it has to be scalding hot but hot at least 140 to 160. I'm not sure if a lot of baristas just don't use the thermometer and they just wing it or what?

Yelp
Love finding great coffee places but going in here, the energy was low and then noticed Kaldi coffee brand served which for me is the worst coffee eight next to Starbucks. The poor choice of coffee really turned me off with this place.

Yelp
Thumbs up for gourmet coffees and breakfast or lunch. 6NC is a fast casual spot with indoor dining or outdoor tables on a nice day. Friendly staff, fast service, good food, and very reasonable prices, plus a place your group can meet up. Overall 4.0 with pricing $5-10pp for a breakfast/lunch meal. Today we ordered their Avocado toast, and a few "create your own" breakfast sandwiches either with a croissant, english muffin, bagel, toast or GF bread. All served hot and to your table in ~5 min. Since we ordered separately at the counter, food orders were prepared and served individually; sandwiches were tasty and perfect with a hot latte or fresh roasted coffee. If you want a simple, reasonable and fast casual spot, check 6NC out. I liked it and will be back soon. Enjoy!

Yelp
6 North is an all-around good restaurant. Especially delicious is the buffalo cauliflower. Check it out!

Yelp
I love coming here in the morning and grabbing coffee and breakfast before work. Their service is excellent and they are quick and efficient. I've tried most of their lattes and they are all good. I really like the salted Carmel iced latte! I've also had a lot of different breakfast items. Their build your own breakfast sandwiches are my favorites.

Yelp
The drive through contact less coffee and breakfast has been my saving grace on the way to work these past few months! They are great with a fresh brew or tea, the food is always warm and the staff is so friendly! I know the times are unprecedented and unique at the moment, but I suggest you check them out for your coffee shop and deli cravings! Vegetarian options and healthy choices are available!

Yelp
This is a nice little, apparently local, coffee shop, that serves Kaldi coffee, including their own proprietary blend. When we visited it was not too busy, and a really nice place to sit and visit with a friend. The people serving were very nice, though the wait for a specialty coffee was a bit long. My specialty coffee was not my favorite, but my wife loved the same one the day before, so it was likely just a matter of taste (I like things sweeter than she does). My scone was also pretty dry. I'd go again, because the atmosphere is great, and I like supporting a local business rather than a chain.

Yelp
We love this place. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant and the food is delicious! We will be returning very soon. Thank you.

Yelp
This place is absolutely delicious!! I am now addicted to the Honey and Vanilla Latte . Today I ordered the Make Your Own breakfast sandwich. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast food is to die for !! Highly recommended.

Yelp
7/2018-update Went in for breakfast-says there is biscuits and gravy on the menu but nope. Updating the menu online and in store would be a good idea. The girls working are usually very friendly but not on this particular day. It was like they were annoyed to be there... Then we went to sit outside and there is a spot on the sidewalk that is not marked and a very dangerous tripping hazard. One of us tripped and banged their knee. This spot should be slopped or marked so it is more noticeable. Something that gets it to code. Great vanilla ice late-a bit pricey. They have a nice drive thru and are somewhat quick. I will be back to try out some food.

Yelp
What a nice hidden gem to experience! We had been to the other restaurants in the same strip mall so decided to give this one a go. So glad we did. Parking was less than fun as the other businesses customers tend to fill up every spot. After talking to the gentleman behind the counter we learned that most business for them comes through the drive thru. The menu gave us a lot of choices. My wife and I tried a 1/2 and 1/2. half a sandwich and a ,BIGger than we thought, bowl of soup (her) and chili (me). The place was very clean and had a variety of seating options (tables, booths, tall tables). We grabbed a booth for 2 and shortly after our food came out. The food smelled as good as it looked. And it tasted just as good. There were many other things on the menu we would like to try. They also apparently have a breakfast menu so I know where I will have to start my day some time.

Yelp
Eat here and avoid Panera. Real fresh and delicious food. I typically eat 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad. Good amount of food and always tastes great!

Yelp
Meh. We've heard a lot of great things about this place so was excited to try it out. However, perhaps we caught them on a bad day, the experience left us with a lot to be desired. Upon entering, we were #5 in line. After waiting roughly 20 minutes, we were #3 in line - as two sets of customers were tired of waiting and left without ordering. We waited another 10 minutes or so (we really wanted to try this place) and finally it was our turn. Not good. The staff is friendly, no complaints there. The food was "okay". It was luke warm and sort of bland. Nothing over the top. We may try again, with the hope the staff was just having an "off day" and maybe try something new from the menu.

Yelp
Nice little cafe with good social distancing practices. We built an egg, sausage and cheese sandwich that was delicious! We would eat here again.

Yelp
A quiet sit down coffee with some nice menu options that include food as well as coffee. It's quiet and the staff is amazing!
google avatar

Yelp
On yelp it says this place is open on Sunday until five yet no one answers the phone and it says the voicemail box is full so they need to post correct hours.

Yelp
It seemed like a nice place to go but the customer service on 10/29/2022 @ 11:37 am was terrible. We were not greeted and the waiter seemed irritated that we were not familiar with their menu. My husband had been there once for pastries and it was my first visit. My husband's order was wrong and apparently seemed like an inconvenience. The food was good but the way we were treated just seemed to ruin my visit. I will think twice before I go back.

Yelp
Kudos for being Local & OPEN on MLK Monday with ample indoor seating & drive-thru 7am-5pm daily. Felt Socially Distanced safe & enjoyed a quick 30 minutes while waiting for daughter's Ortho appointment. Thanks for having gluten free bread available, interesting sandwich options, and strong coffee. #BradyEats

Yelp
TL:DR - Decent study spot if you don't need an outlet. Food is meh and drinks are a bit overpriced. As a study spot, this place is pretty good. Outside of that I'd probably pass. They do have lots of table with a decent amount of booths. Outlets are minimal but they are around, but if you're absolutely dependent on it, I'd probably look somewhere else. It's a lot quieter than your typical panera, but still a perfect amount of that background coffee shop noise. Food wise, this place is pretty forgettable, meaning it's fine but nothing I'd come just for the food. I don't like coffee so I usually get tea. I don't understand the appeal of nomadic tea, they're always bitter and way over-priced (looking at you kaldi). Staff is always nice and there's always ample parking in the lot.

Yelp
Such a great local treat. It's a must try for breakfast or lunch. Favorites are the build your own breakfast sandwich and the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese.
google avatar

Yelp
I love supporting this local cafe. I work near 6 North. The drive thru is super convenient. It is great for coffee. I recommend the frozen coffee. The iced latte is wonderful as well. They have smoothies, too! Additionally, the breakfast wrap is amazing. You can also build your own breakfast sandwich. I also appreciate how you can order lunch during breakfast time. This is great for when I forget my lunch! I love their chicken salad sandwich. The Mexican fiesta salad with chicken is also declicious. They have a great selection of sides, too! I always recommend this cafe to others. I have never had a meal I did not like!

Yelp
Pretty nice little corner coffee shop! I was looking for a spot to crash land and get some work done so I thought I'd stroll in and check out the new digs. It's a pretty big place with lots of seating - booths and stand-alone chairs. It was, however, a bit noisy so bring your headphones if you need to focus. Major selling point - power outlets at every two-top table lining the outer walls. This may not be a big deal to some people, but my computer holds zero charge so I need to plug in constantly. The coffee is a pour-over coffee upwards of roughly $5 for a large. Take note, however, there is an option for a bottomless cup of their regular drip coffee. If you plan on staying for hours to get something done, plan ahead and purchase the bottomless cup. I ordered the veggie wrap and was simply delighted. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no lettuce and, instead, baby spinach as a filler. It was kinda weird that there were 6 or 7 employees running the place and it took a few minutes longer for my wrap to come out, but I wasn't in a hurry so it didn't bother me. Will definitely keep this spot in mind for the next time I need to get some work done.

Yelp
Placed an online order for a BLT and Mac n cheese for lunch. A little disappointed that the Mac n cheese seemed to have no flavor, but wasn't horrible. I guess I just expect a BLT to have several pieces of crisp bacon, but this BLT only had three pieces and it was very soggy bacon that was not crisp in the slightest. Also, I asked for no chipotle mayo and it came with it (which i saw once i got home). Sourdough bread was delish and serving size of sandwich bread was good! Overall not a great first experience. Other reviews are so positive so maybe just an off day, but either way it was an 'eh' experience.
google avatar

Melissa B.

Yelp
Not impressed, they must have the laziest kitchen staff. Ordered the dill turkey on sourdough bread. I literally got 1 piece of turkey, the bread was stale and I guess you have to ask for lettuce, tomato and onions for your sandwiches. So when I did I got what is pictured below. One sad piece of lettuce, cherry tomato which is impossible to eat in a sandwich and diced onions, which is also not sandwich friendly. $12 for this crap is not worth it so I will not be back. The side of pasta salad was good and the girls at the counter were apologetic hence the extra star.

Yelp
6 North made it easy to pick up food with low human contact long before the pandemic! Their drive-thru has been fast and convenient for years. They have the best salads--their grilled chicken is thinly sliced and plentiful, Caesar is topped with huge shards of parm and sundried tomatoes, mandarin orange/pecan salad with delicious brown sugar vinaigrette. Sandwiches are large--Turkey is wonderful as is veggie. Husband loves their toasted Reuben or the Buffalo chicken wrap. Granola bars and iced green tea are good add-ons.

Yelp
So. Good. Was recently introduced to this place by friends, and we immediately fell in love. I've never had anything on the menu that I don't love! Quality food and quality service. Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Yelp
A mediocre lunch experience. The menu is pretty boring. I went for a turkey club ($6.50). It featured avocado, pepperjack cheese, and bean sprouts, which made it sound a little interesting. Unfortunately there was very little avocado & sprouts. It tasted OK. The bread was generic. There was no visual appeal. It was like something you'd put together in your kitchen if you were in a rush. Ditto w/ the chili ($3). It was fine. No kick, nothing to make it stand out. On the plus side, the food came out super quick despite the bustling lunch crowd. And the guys working behind the counter were really nice. And they sell Kakao chocolate, which is always a bonus. The worst part was the parking. The plaza lot was completely full around lunchtime and finding a spot was a pain. That alone will keep me from returning. I'll stick to the Mr. Goodcents right down the road.
google avatar

Yelp
6 North means convenience. I always know I can stop here for a healthy lunch, and the drive-thru option is just ridiculously helpful when you're starving but in a hurry. Or when you have sweatpants on and slippers and you don't want to get out of the car. I mean... I recently went for breakfast and I will say I don't like it as much as lunch. It wasn't terrible, but I got a "create your own" breakfast wrap, and it just wasn't warm enough. The shredded cheese wasn't melted at all and it left a lot to be desired. The coffee, though, was great as usual. For lunch, they have a great selection of salads, sandwiches, and wraps, and it's all really affordable. I miss the West End location so this is always a nice stop when I'm out in Ballwin!

Yelp
Food: 5 Stars Service: 4 Stars I LOVE this place. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Their sandwiches and wraps are filled with fresh veggies and meats. My husband and I always leave with a full/happy belly. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the Apple & Turkey Wrap. I love the sweet and savory flavors that are rolled up in a convenient wrap. Not a sandwich/wrap kind of person? Try one of their amazing salads! My all-time fave has to be the Mandarin Orange & Chicken Salad. It's a spring mix topped with apples, mandarin oranges, chicken, and blue cheese crumbles. The candied walnuts add the perfect crunch and provide that little pocket of sweetness that hits my mouth unexpectedly. My only complaint actually has nothing to do with the restaurant, but the parking lot that supports all the businesses in that strip mall. There's not enough parking spots! I'm left driving around for 5-15 minutes waiting for someone to leave. :[

Yelp
I stopped by for the first time and ordered an iced tuxedo latte and the pesto turkey melt and both were amazing. Friendly staff and quality food and drink. I will be visiting again soon!

Yelp
Quaint little breakfast/coffee "Starbucks" venue. Service was courteous and the value for what we got was better than Starbucks. It's a great little yuppie/trendy coffee shop that is well managed and does what they offer very well.

Jennifer A.

Yelp
This is my go-to place to grab a super hot Americano and maybe a breakfast sandwich on my way to work. It's also a great meet-up place for breakfast, lunch or coffee. Not noisy so you can have a conversation. Casual atmosphere and the friendliest staff:). I love having a locally owned business right in our neighborhood to frequent. My favorite breakfast sandwich is the egg white, Turkey sausage, avocado and greens in an English muffin. The BEST! They have great salads for lunch. And, the Americanos I get there are perfection!

Yelp
Went on Saturday around 1230, had a chicken wrap and side salad. The chicken wrap was very tasty, had honey on the chicken, along with vegetables in the wrap. Very well worth the trip. Side salad was fresh only had tomatoes and lettuce though. The portions are very large, I ate most of my food, my wife took 1/2 of her food home in a box. Service was excellent.
google avatar

Yelp
Kaldi coffee and breakfast sandwich were fine. Please do a better job cleaning your women's restroom. Smells like urine and the floor was sticky. Seems like it needs a good scrub. Restaurant dining room seemed clean if a bit beat up.
google avatar

Panashe G.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place, but man I was really disappointed by the food. The coffee was pretty good but the food wasn't my favorite unfortunately. I got a tuna sandwich and it was freezing cold and just wasn't the best, so I ordered a breakfast sandwich because I was so hungry. It was also pretty average.

Yelp
I just stumbled on this place when we needed a quick bite but didn't want to do the fast food route. I am so glad we stopped. Such a cute little restaurant. Mirrors that of a Bread Co, but a little more intimate. My husband had the BLTT (with Turkey) and I opted for the Pesto Turkey Melt. I felt it was very reasonable for the price. My husband's sandwich was very large and layered. My pesto sandwich was also filling. We ordered a side salad and it was a nice size. The mac n cheese was bland. Sorry. I saw on another reviewer they complained, but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, as well as feed my son. It lacked flavor and finesse. Needed to be creamier as it was dry (might of been end of day). But overall the food was really good. Next time I want to try their Kaldi's coffee, because the tea was really good! Also Kudos for local authors in there. I read to my son prior to our food coming. It was so cute.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch because we wanted to try a new place. It has a walk up counter to order. I tried the Reuben sandwich, chips and a mocha. They give you a large card as your number which is something out if the ordinary. We happened to be a 7 of hearts. Nice little twist. Anyway the sandwich was fantastic. Although I did not get one, the salads look delicious and are good size. Look forward to trying the place again.

Yelp
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I went on Wed Dec 4, 2019 for dinner for a quick dinner with my son who is in pre-kindergarten. I ordered the Salmon BLT and my son had the Kids mac and cheese. I noticed the Kids Mac and Cheese was a bit off in taste and my son barely ate any of it. I was in a bit of a hurry to get my kid to choir practice so I wasn't able to confront the manager about the Kids Mac and Cheese tasting terrible. I believe it was old- kinda rubbery. I called up on Thursday Dec 5, 2019 and requested that management refund the mac and cheese because it tasted awful. They said that since I paid with a credit card, they don't do refunds over the phone but I can come in for a cash refund. Which is ridiculous- most places can do refunds over the phone with a credit card. So, I finally made it over to 6 North Cafe on Sunday 12/8/19 at noon and I and it took FOREVER for the manager to address the situation. While I waited, they came over and paid me $3 and I asked the manager to come back and I said, "I was expecting $4.20 as a refund, NOT $3." And he said in a RUDE MANNER, the Mac and Cheese is $2.70 NOT $4.20 so you only get $3". And I said "For goodwill, I am requesting $4.20 considering it's a COMPLETE hassle to physically come back and get a CASH REFUND vs. a credit card refund". And he said, "If you have a problem with it, you need to speak with the owner tomorrow". We are disputing $1.20 difference- absolutely unacceptable- considering I have frequented this place for the last year. This is why small businesses can't compete... the terrible customer service is what leaves a bad taste in my mouth as well as the bad Mac and Cheese.

Yelp
Love this place and all the fresh food! The staff is very friendly and nice. I have started going here regularly.

Yelp
Very nice people but not to crazy about the menu. It tends to be very trendy. I love a good 4 cheese grilled sandwich. But they add roasted pepper and pesto to the point you can't taste the cheese! The breakfast sandwich is a nice presentation but no seasoning or butter. If you want very healthy then it's your place. All the coffee drinks are great!

Yelp
6 North Cafe made for a nice, lighter dinner Sunday night. A coworker of mine had been here and said he enjoyed it. he told me where it was, but I hadn't noticed it there. It's not that it is hidden, but it blends into the new strip center behind the CVS. All the storefronts look similar, with similar signage over the doors. So for my birthday, i got a mailer with restaurant coupons - including one from 6 North Cafe for 50% off my bill, up to $10. Sounded like a good reason to me to try them! Place was nice enough, very clean, color scheme similar to St L Bread Co. Layout is pretty rectangular, though - efficient, but loses some atmosphere. There is a drive thru, though. Workers were pleasant. Nice variety in the menu. Family wound up ordering a BLT, 1/2 roast beef sandwich with pasta salad, and a 3 cheese pizza/flatbread. The order taker said the pizza would take about 7 minutes, and asked if we wanted all the food to come out with the pizza - showed some consideration for us, not a big thing, but nice. (We said to bring out the other food first, and let the pizza follow.) Food was brought to the table after just a few minutes, and the pizza actually followed almost immediately. Food was all really tasty. BLT had thick cut, flavorful bacon, decent tomato slices, very crispy lettuce, a chipotle mayo for some nice spicy variety, and thickish toasted bread (but not too thick). Only negative was that there were really too many lettuce leafs. Made it thicker, but to no benefit. Also, it was iceberg lettuce - which, while nice and green, could be improved by perhaps adding romaine or other. Roast beef was nice and dark, good flavor. Decent amount of thin sliced red onion. some lettuce and tomato, and another spiced mayo spread - not chipotle, but more than just plain mayo. Pizza/flatbread was decent - good, not more or less. It did have a LOT of cheese, which I really like. We were there at about 5:30 pm on a very hot Sunday, and there were only two guys getting iced coffees when we arrived. We were the only patrons inside during our whole stay after they left. Perhaps it was the time and the heat. There were two or three cars that came through the drive thru - so it's not like there was no other business. Don't know if they were coffee-only orders or also got food. I really struggled with 3 star vs. 4 star rating. Ultimately, I can't yet give it 4 stars. I likd it quite a bit, but just not quite there. There is a lot more to the place than what we ate, but I can only really comment on our food. It's a nice enough place. I liked the quality of our food quite a bit. Hope traffic is high enough for it to prosper.
