Very clean bathrooms, showers are free, washer and dryer are free (but only one set, good luck on a rainy day), huge space with great parking spots, and an unreal view of the surrounding area on a clear night. Highly recommend.

This campsite is beautiful and right next to a glacier and multiple waterfalls. The toilets were very clean and the showers were good. It was very quiet here in the winter.

Really liked this campsite - had a real outdoor feel to it. Nice clean facilities. The most number of shower booths I've seen at a campsite. Ideal location for exploring the hills. At first I thought it was a little expensive, but if you camp here, there's no check out time and it covers the parking fee for the next day too which is a plus point. NOTE: No grey water disposal - only black.

Beautiful camping ground but expensive for the low value you get (read: facilities). Location: Great! With a stunning view to the glacier. Also the area to park your vans are well maintained. Not that many muddy experiences. Hygiene facilities: Shower and toilets. Not super bad, but rather on the dirty side. They are included in the price. Washing clothes: One washing machine and dryer which means you have to either wait endlessly or skip and wash your clothes elsewhere. On the good side: it’s included. But it eats your time. Common area: There is only one outside area with 4 benches. Nothing indoors. Food: No good restaurants in the area. You stop here to hike or to stay the night and keep moving.

No communal kitchen area. Beautiful location so attracted lots of other campers but the area is huge. Even with a line of 10+ people for the shower I only waited 10 minutes as there are many of them and were clean and hot.

We didn't use many of the facilities.||It was park up feed and sleep for us. We didn't book. We just rocked up. Loads of space. ||Black water facilities next to reception (green and black Hose pipe)||No grey water ||Fresh water near the toilets at reception. (the toilets here are closed for winter but outside washing up)||Beautiful views.||£34 (5300 ISK) 2 Adults & a Benivan camper.

Very large campground and somewhat "organized" in terms of layout compared to others. Good clean (free) showers and bathrooms. Main thing holding this from 5 stars is no kitchen (though there were outdoor sinks with hot water for dishes). Be thoughtful with where to set up camp here because of how busy it is. Multiple trailheads beginning right at the campsite, plus the meeting point of several tour companies in the area

Great, big campsite with clean facilities, hot showers. Washer and dryer are included in price but you have to wait in line to use them and bring your own detergent. The only thing missing is indoor common area, there are only a couple of outdoor tables to use. Location is great for nearby hikes.
