Amazing restaurant in a cozy corner of Warsaw. The food came out fast and the pielmieni was delicious or "Pyszne" as I should say. The pork was well seasoned and the portion size was great. I ate outside and it was quite nice to take in the atmosphere of the neighborhood while I was dining. The staff also speaks English if you prefer. Highly recommend checking this place out as the prices were also affordable for a great meal, especially if you are staying in a hotel, AirBnB or hostel nearby.

Wonderful restaurant with a cozy feel and very friendly staff. The menu is their own take on dishes from various countries in eastern Europe and western Asia. The khinkali and wines from Georgia were delicious and we especially loved the "herring under pillow", which was new to us. Their version of borsht was also a treat. The smoked salmon blintz was also delicious and filling. We can't wait to go back again!

Great place with a Soviet vibe. The portions are big, and for 120 PLN for two, we were stuffed like turkeys.

Excellent polish food with some Russian, Ukrainian and Georgian items on menu. Very very delicious, reasonably priced, huge portions. Georgian wine was very good and good price. Great atmosphere, very local but wait staff speak English. Lovely wait staff. Homey. Highly recommend. 2 minute walk from Vodka Museum.

Warsaw... It’s been a while since we were here. And now that we are, we need a place to eat. Somewhere to write a bit too. Skamiejka. I won’t go on too much because what can you really say about a meat patty? The ratings are slightly too high, but everyone’s entitled to their opinion. Overall, the place is very nice, and cozy, and has a good vibe. We ordered pâté as a starter, meat patties, and stroganoff. Plus some side dishes :) The salads were tasty. And… the MUSTARD is amazing!!! It hits like wasabi. If you’re not eating pâté because you’re vegetarian or just don’t like it, order the mustard! And a bucket of water! :) I have NEVER tried anything like it in my life. I like spicy, but I don’t go crazy; too spicy is too much for me. My Paulina loves it and usually devours everything, but even she was left breathless. By the way, I love mustard. I go through jars of it. Half a jar goes on a slice of meat :) The pâté was very good, as you can see in the photo :) The bread wasn’t to my taste, but Paulina liked it. The meat patty—called rumsztyk here—was nothing special. My mom, who’s not the best cook in the world (I hope she never reads this), makes better meat patties. I’d describe the food as decent.

Google
A neighborhood restaurant serving savory Russian inspired cuisine, with a selection of vodka and Georgian wines. Cosy interior decoration, welcoming service (waitresses speak English), pleasant food, and an extremely good ratio quality. It’s worth the walk out of the tourist paths.

Overall it was a pleasant experience though if we will come back it will be for pielmieni not the strogonoff. It wasn't bad, a good amount of meat, very good fresh potato pancakes however something was missing and I couldn't enjoy it fully. Also I don't know how the serving works but only one of the ladies was paying us any attention while the other was serving other tables and wasn't looking in our direction. Otherwise it looks and feels really cozy, just go for pielmieni instead of other things and you will be happy.

Yelp
Speaking as a tourist; eating here will make you feel like you are at a distant relatives house that is dedicated to being as hospitable as possible. One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The menu is small compared to other restaurants in the city but don't let this discourage you, we tried several dishes and everything was absolutely delicious and well prepared. The interior of the restaurant is tastefully decorated in the way someone's kitchen or dining room may be adding to the "homey" feel. Warsaw is filled with restaurants that offer delicious and authentic food. But if you want to feel like a local, and not blow a ton of money in an establishment that couldn't care less if you were there, pay Skamiejka a visit.

Yelp
I really loved this place, the food was good and the breeze was good out until a weird head coming out of a toilet came at me with his "Skibidi" language and attacked me, just because of that ima take out a star and give this a 4 star

Yelp
Poles don't like to be confused with Russians when abroad, but to be frank - we have things in common, especially when it comes to cuisine. For example - Slavic people from Warsaw to Vladivostok like to feast on pierogi (dumplings). There are, of course, subtle differences between Polish pierogi and Russian vareniki and you can argue about who invented what in a way just slightly less heated then solianka soup at Skamiejka. Which is hot. And tasty. But back to vareniki - they are great. Both in general as well as these particular ones in the Russian restaurant that this very review is about. Try the potato ones! Going further - bliny. I tried the savory version, which was good, but I bet the sweet ones could be even better. I'm not an expert on Russian cuisine, but for me it was the best one I had since my epic day trip to Brighton Beach in NYC. Much better atmosphere too, as Skamiejka's staff was extremely nice and helpful.

Yelp
It was my first visit to a Russian restaurant, but definitely not a last one! The place is tiny and very homely. The Russian lady running it is super friendly and cheerful, she walks around singing to the music played in the background. there aren't many options on the menu (actually I don't think i saw one, the lasy just told me what she had that day), but everything seems to be hoem made. I ordered a cabbage soup which was served with granary bread, sour cream and... raw garlic clove on a side for a bite:) Quite an experience! I followed with buckwheat and cheese which were morish. I couldn't have anything else though, it was so filling. So my dessert was a tea - Russian style of course - served with cherry preserve, delicious! There are also home made compote to chose from and Eastern European beers. And it's damn cheap!

Yelp
This place was lovely! The owners son was the one who took my order and he was very helpful with pronunciation of the food and a suggestion for a Russian beer :) It's small and cozy. A great place to meet people, which is what ended up happening for me!

Yelp
What a lovely place! Feel like home! Well, everything is home made, even kompot! There are 3 things you must taste once you visit Skamiejka: - pielmienie - solianka - mustard - so spicy (I cried...) Selection of alco: Georgian and Russian beers! Home-made spirit (ask the bartender - at least it's written so on the wall) :-)
