How to Plan a Winter Weekend in Skaneateles, New York

This place rocks!!! I went here for the first time with work buddies. Granted I live farther than the rest of us. The bartenders were awesome treated you well like family. Even if your not one of the regulars. Open atmosphere inside and out! Super clean and if you love dogs bring yours. I have never encountered a friendly place where good people have a great time with others and their dogs!!! Will come again !!!

Another stop on our quest for Fall fun! We ordered flights and brought them outside to enjoy on a beautiful afternoon. My first two selections were on the lighter side and were smooth. The other two were sours and were very tart but sweet as well. They worked for small sippers with a twist, one tasted like sweeTarts! Unfortunately the sun and the sweet drinks brought the bees in droves! We moved inside to avoid them but they were indoors as well! There is a distillery at this location as well. We held off on the Spirits this trip, but they offered a wide variety of flavored Whiskey's.

Actually visited for the taco 🌮 truck at their location. Tried their dunkle 🍻 and it was REALLY good! 😋 Lovely facility but didn't see them listed in the Harvest Hosts app. Too bad. 🧐 Would recommend and will likely be back for that dunkle 🍻

We held our rehearsal dinner at the Skaneateles Brewery and it was just perfect. Dorthy and all the staff and owners are so wonderful to work with. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is just right and they treat you like family. Having outdoor and indoor space is such a treat. We would highly recommend the brewery and did I mention the beer… top notch! The Last Shot Distillery next door is also amazing. We had something for everyone. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Kelly and Dave

Quaint brewery in Skaneateles, NY. Many beer options and the inside is clean and bar tenders are friendly. Limited food options but they have snack like options so that did the trick when I skipped lunch the day of my visit. Smells hoppy inside but adds to the craft brewery experience. Recommend a stop if you’re in the area.

Great place, live music Sunday’s are the best! They have great beer, and a big selection for whatever variety you might like. The staff is extremely friendly and the entire atmosphere is chill. Awesome.

Stopped at Skaneateles Brewery on a brewery tour of the area. The beers were good and there was a food truck and live band on our Saturday afternoon visit. Enjoyed the vibe and the energy. Totally worth a stop. Recommended.

Yelp
Another hidden gem. Way off of the beaten path, this brewery is literally located in the middle of a forest. Great outdoor seating, plus a host of board games ready at hand, we enjoyed our time here sampling some great German style beers. We were also impressed by the number of dog owners who showed up with their pooches. A really nice place to visit. Our only criticism was one of the male bartenders was obviously bored and not customer friendly even after we smiled at him as we came up to the bar. Luckily, we were quickly served by a very upbeat and welcoming co-worker.

Yelp
We went here on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon expecting a delightful spot and a food truck knowing of the absence of food service. First impressions were not good - there was such limited signage, we weren't sure we were in the right place until we went inside and saw the bar. Everyone was friendly, but there was no food truck and we didn't want to drink with no food. We left after a few minutes, thirsty, hungry and disappointed.

Yelp
This was a super fun spot to hang out! I got the flight which had some seasonal choices. I liked two out of the four. It was four 5oz for $12. There was plenty of seating. Lots of families with kids. My only qualm was the absence of anything edible. I've included a picture on one of their fridges of a pizza place that delivers. The discount code did not work and we ended up having to cancel the order due to snow on the road so it would have taken over an hour. Other than that, there were some bags of pretzels or kettle popcorn. The bartenders were super friendly and had some good recommendations.

Yelp
Awesome beers, cool location, great food truck and cool spot to check out music! Came here on recommendation and so glad it was a rainy Sunday! The award winning beers are all wonderful and the mac and cheese food truck was a hit! Saw some great live music here too. A really wonderful spot!

Yelp
Finally made it to the brewery recently for their Trivia Night with a group of friends and I'm glad I did. It's been on my radar since moving back home last year. One HUGE bonus for me is that I can take my two dogs there. Why aren't more places dog-friendly in Central NY? First, the property seems to be well-kept and clean which is important to me. The parking lot could use some hole-filling but that may be an issue with the seasons up here. Even with rain, snow, and mud around the interior of the building is always clean and tidy. The beer selection is great and I've really taken to their two stouts on tap currently. The others are great too! I also like that the distillery is a part of the property as I'm a big bourbon/whiskey fan. The owner, Chris, is so nice and really knows his stuff. Looking forward to nicer weather so we can take in the live music and fun that comes along with it.

Yelp
This brewery is just a few minutes outside of town. They do trivia on Thursdays so we came out to play. I wouldn't say their bar options are extensive but they do offer flights. No food but they do have an affiliation with a nearby restaurant for free delivery. We had a great time and would come again! It's a cute rustic aesthetic inside.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went after walking along a trail nearby and had a nice time. There's plenty of outdoor seating and the staff was very friendly. There was a food truck, but we didn't try it. I did have some of the kettle corn and loved it. My boyfriend enjoyed the beers that he had as well.

Yelp
Great brewery 5 minutes out of Skaneateles. Loved the nitro stout and sours here. Couple other businesses including a distillery attached had a great atmosphere and friendly staff!

Yelp
Great space! Great indoor and outdoor seating. Lovely location, shame we can't see the river from the picnic tables, we snuck through the trees at the edge of the parking lot, a really beautiful site. Oh, wait, guess I'd better review the beer. After all it is a brewery! Well, as pretty hardcore beer snobs, we were pleased, but nothing on tap during our visit rocked our world. They were good, and we glad we visited, and if we lived near by, we go, even often. But, since it is a long drive from our home in Rochester, I doubt we'll make the drive just for what we tasted on tap. All that said, I'm sure you'll enjoy it and get good service decent beer in a nice setting.

Yelp
Comfortable setting, lots of beer to choose from. Great pretzels for snack. Didn't try menu food. Next time.

Yelp
Went with a group of three on a Friday after work. There was plenty of outdoor seating, and they had beer, liquor, and wine. We were told they typically have a food truck on Saturday's. I absolutely loved the pumpkin beer!

Yelp
This place lets dogs and their people sit mostly outside with picnic tables and umbrellas. They have beer and cocktails for humans. For dogs they have very yummy water and a nice employee gave me a treat, making sure to ask my mom's permission first. 5/5 wags, would sniff again

Yelp
There are a variety of beers and in the same building there is a distillery, which I can wait to order from and try all of the varieties of liquor. We had a great girls day and the live music was a nice touch. It seemed to have a pretty big inside and there are a handful of tables outside with fire pits. They fill up quickly.

Yelp
Very good beers. They have a lot of varieties especially for a newer/smaller place. Fun atmosphere too

Yelp
So happy to have tried this new brewery recently as it is a wonderful place. First the beers are very good, especially enjoyed the Blonde Ales and outstanding Hefeweizen. Staff was both friendly and knowledgeable. Setting on a quiet side road next to the Charlie Major Trail is peaceful. Picnic tables with umbrellas under the trees are very relaxing. Looking forward to returning soon!

Yelp
Very pleasant venue and extremely friendly staff and service. Enjoyed the outdoor tables and even with recent rain the tables stayed mostly dry. The indoor atmosphere is equally pleasant. This locally owned place has worked hard to overcome the effects of COVID and we really appreciate it!!

Yelp
Nice place with a great outdoor space and some good beer! We hadn't stopped here before, but will again. Took a growler of their IPA home:)

Yelp
Great beer in a very cool space. Servers are knowledgeable and friendly. No food, but you can bring your own, or have it delivered. It's really cool to overlook all the brewing equipment, AND the brewery is right across the hall from Last Shot Distillery, so there's something for everyone.
