Room was comfortable but really needed updating. Could have done with a longer cable on the fan provided. Restaurant was very good and food excellent. Nice breakfast served in main hotel. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Christmas here sounds like it would be fun.

We had dinner for 4 last week at the Gastgifvaregard in Skanoer - ( also a 10 room b&b)and were very pleased. My wife and i had the tomato and goat cheese appetizer - simple but attractively done and very tasty. After this all 4 of us ordered the kotellette, served with some maize, fresh summer potatoes. There was a dark brown relish of some kind - wish i knew what - very nice compliment to this dish. Again very attractively done, very tasty - and a good sized portion (not always the case in Sweden in my experience!). We thoroughly enjoyed a reasonably priced bottle of red recommended by our waitress - sorry, but at the moment i can only remember it was Spanish ! Dessert was the almond cake ("henrietta" i believe). This was good, but not "special" - not quite on a par with the previous offerings. Altogether a very enjoyable evening - We willdefinitely be back soon!

Visited ar the Scanian holiday "Mårten gås" to eat their famous Mårten gås Goose dinner, with Black soup, gose and apple cake. Fantastic - best ever eaten. Tje rooms are good and breakfast is great, but served on a house 150 meters away

A very cosy and tiny hotel in the small charming town Skanör. The hotel only has 10 rooms. The one room on the ground floor is suitable for disabled. The rooms on the first floor are overall tiny, with comfortable beds, simple decor and a bathroom. The place is nice and clean with a fresh Scandinavian feel. The furniture is a bit worn in some of the rooms. At your stay you will notice the silence, this is a quiet place, the town is quiet, so go there for great walks in the town or on the beach. You can buy different packages that include excellent dinners in the restaurant. The service is extremely friendly. Our room came with breakfast. I think due to the low season we had to walk for five minutes to the nearby hotel Gäslingen - the breakfast buffet was very nice.

Clean little guest house with an interesting history. Location is perfect for a walk to the shore. The room was simple but comfortable since we could leave the window open for some cool air. I am not sure if this house has air conditioning but if not, the summer might be brutal. ||The restaurant was phenomenal. The food was creative, fresh and delicious. The service was just right, attentive but not overbearing. Great wine list and knowledgable staff.||I would definitely recommend the restaurant and the room was cozy for the night but certainly not luxurious.

Didn't stay in the rooms. Had a very nice meal with Chantarelle soup, Duck confit and an apple dessert. Good wine and nice ambiance. Recommended.

Very lovely hotel and a great hospitality. A young man at reception was excellent; great sense of humor and good eye on important details (asked us if we have booked a table on the busy Falsterbo horse show weekend). A breakfast was really good. We also loved the architecture and interior design of the place. Would love to come back.

We had a lovely, albeit slightly slower served than preferred, 3 course dinner. The food was good, the setting was lovely and the attention for our large group of 16 was good. I left very happy and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed meal in a cozy setting.

Yelp
I visited with a friend in June (back in 2011) on a cool wet evening. I ordered what appeared to be a very simple plate of fish with potatoes. The dish was anything but simple. The complex balance in flavours were enough to warm anyone on a cool evening as such. Since my visit I have recommended Gästgifvaregård to anyone who is willing to listen. I look forward to my next trip to Skanör
