Fantastic experience! extremely helpful waiter, even if he spoke very little English he made himself understood very well, was very kind and attentive. the salads are great, the grilled meat is even better. The fries are homemade and very traditional. will definitely go again! we had a munor problem with an undercooked sausage and the waiter solved it straight away. once again, delicious food! the waiter was so kind that even if ib most places in Bulgaria they don’t split the bill, he made extra effort and split the bill for us even if we told him not to worry about it. FANTASTIC!

We visited Skarabar for dinner, as it was close to our hotel and had good reviews. Choosing food was easy as they had English menus available. For startes we had two of their pepper dishes which were both delicious. For mains I had the Meshana Skana, mixed meat platter, which was fantastic. My wife had the beef livers which she really enjoyed. We drank the house Rose and has the Creme Caramel for dessert. I finished off the meal with a glass of Rakia, which was also very good! Service was quick and the restaurant was very busy!

Great food, very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. 100% recommend. Very traditional Bulgarian food 10/10

Came two days ago and just had the liver as I wasn’t feeling that hungry. Came back today for their ‘mixed grill’ equivalent, and both dishes were exceptional. Can highly recommend. PS: you might need to book at very busy times.

Typical barbecue place with a hipster twist - very suitable for tourists and locals alike. I recommend the sausages with anise - very interesting taste and the fries are just so good

The homemade grilled meatballs were amazing. Did not disappoint! I had it with the house wine.

We had Homemade meatballs, and grilled pepper and Ayran. The meatballs and were juicy and delicious, the side included cabbage salad and homemade fries which were so fresh and yummy. Grilled peppers were so new to me with great flavour covered by garlic and olive oil. The only downside, I‘d highlight is that the waiters couldn’t speak much English. I was looking for another food but since he couldn’t understand what I‘m looking for I just chose to save time. Otherwise everything was so good and highly recommended.

Exactly what I was looking for after an evening at the theater! I wanted some good grilled meat—nothing too fancy, but definitely better than fast food—and this place delivered perfectly. The service was quick, the quality was solid, and the price was very fair. I almost forgot my phone, and the waiter went out of their way to return it to me. Great experience all around!
