We had Homemade meatballs, and grilled pepper and Ayran. The meatballs and were juicy and delicious, the side included cabbage salad and homemade fries which were so fresh and yummy. Grilled peppers were so new to me with great flavour covered by garlic and olive oil. The only downside, I‘d highlight is that the waiters couldn’t speak much English. I was looking for another food but since he couldn’t understand what I‘m looking for I just chose to save time. Otherwise everything was so good and highly recommended.

Exactly what I was looking for after an evening at the theater! I wanted some good grilled meat—nothing too fancy, but definitely better than fast food—and this place delivered perfectly. The service was quick, the quality was solid, and the price was very fair. I almost forgot my phone, and the waiter went out of their way to return it to me. Great experience all around!

Whatever happens, Skarabar is always there with its unchanged quality and good service. Meat is always fresh and well prepared, and the French fries are one of the best in Sofia. At lunch it is usually packed so it’s a good idea to reserve a table. Prices, compared to other places nearby, are fair too.

First time in Bulgaria. Very good local food place. Grilled meats, appetizers, and full bar. Lively mixed crowd including young adults on dates, families with kids, and working men. Lots of grilled pork ribs being served. Grilled zucchini with yogurt, village salad, potatoes, cabbage slaw, and grilled peppers all were very tasty. Nice first meal in Sofia. Mysterious world clock display.

Fantastic dining experience for lunch today. We make a point to eat аt Skarabar every time we visit Sofia. This time the Kebabcheta, peppers, fries with feta, house soup… wow… everything was amazingly well prepared. Out host Ventsi is an awesome guy, friendly, knowledgeable, attentive… we shall return again someday! Наздраве!

This place was amazing, the food was simply spectacular is extremely rare for me to lick my fingers and that happened here.. it was not only amazing but it was low-cost too.. I really enjoyed eating here and not to exaggerate but the main reason for me to ever come back to bulgary will be for eating here again.

Update : going to this place every 15 days. Today the place was crowded and the waiter kind of crazy shouting at me : I DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH... I DO NOT WANT TO SPEAK ENGLISH!!! Do not worry, you just lost a customer!!! If you do not want English speaking person you won't!
