Thank you for providing a place for kids to go that offers good,, clean, family fun. I would suggest making the steps into the snack area a ramp for safety purposes and not charging for the plastic tube skating aides available. Also, it would be nice if the announcements could be clearly heard. I know the place is supposed to have an 80's vibe, but updates to the facility, the skates and sizes offered, and the condition of the rink would be appreciated by all. The music is great and the facility is fairly clean. I love that you offer skating sessions on school holidays.

We are so glad to have such an amazing roller rink in Albuquerque, it’s a very family friendly place with such a retro vibe. We love going and as my daughter improves her skating ability, we will surely become regulars.

Skate-O-Mania was the perfect place for our girls’ birthday party! The staff was very responsive beforehand and flexible with weather concerns, which we really appreciated. The party space was great, the kids had an absolute blast skating, and everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend for birthday parties!

Been coming here since I was about 10, ABQ local. Usually all for supporting local businesses. Experience has been horrible. Employees all except for an older male are rude and nasty. Walked in last Saturday and paid for entry, the place was disgusting, food everywhere. Not a single place anywhere to sit down and put on your skates. We decided to leave immediately, manager refused a refund, no “no refund” signs posted anywhere. Illegal. Reporting to the BBB and district attorneys office. People in line were also telling us that they’ve received entry and skate rental refunds before. Manager provided absolutely not a shred of customer service. Never coming back here again.

Asked for a size 10 and was offered the exciting choices of a 9 or 11. Then the locker locked me out. When I asked the return counter for help, the employee was rude, and when I explained my belongings were locked inside, she saluted me. Truly a memorable customer service experience.

Fun place to go and skate but a bit outdated for the price. We came here with our son and daughter, and we rented 3 sets of skates and 1 hold for our daughter. This ended up being 57 dollars to skate (as I brought my own skates). The inside itself looks like it's from the 80s as expected, but the skating rink itself is fairly small. We had a really nice time here, but it was odd when they made everyone exit the rink to wish a little boy happy birthday for 5 minutes. I'm all for happy birthdays, but I don't think doing this adds to their birthday or our experience. Maybe this could be done while everyone's skating?

The 1-hour skate sessions are definitely a win fun, affordable, and great for kids who just want to skate. But when it came to hosting my daughter’s birthday party here, I’d say come fully prepared and expect to spend more than you think. The party package is around $250, and it only includes one small table. If you’re expecting more guests, you’ll have to pay $50 per extra table and trust the tables are tiny. If you have a decent-sized party, you’re probably going to need at least three tables. It adds up fast, and while I wouldn’t call it a scam, it definitely feels like they’ve started charging premium prices just because the place is trendy again. Another downside: the restrooms were extremely filthy, and some of the older staff members weren't the friendliest. I also had an issue at the concession stand when they said they couldn’t break my change, which was surprising. Overall, the skating itself is great fun, but the customer service, cleanliness, and pricing policies really take away from the experience.

We stopped by on partof our Stranger Things film locations. It did not disappoint. It was pretty busy on a Sunday early afternoon. Birthday parties in full swing. Rent or bring your own skates. There are trainer zimmer frames available and the kids that could not skate well were able to be supported. The huge disco ball spun and the neon lights shone. The music was great and a darkish cavernous scene was set. We took pictures and marvelled how old Skool it was an more importantly how the kids were skating and not a one of them on the game machines or phones. Very refreshing to see.

This is the last Saturday before Christmas/winter break is over before the kids go back to school. Took my grandkids here today. The place is crowdedly insane! I never saw so many newbies falling down ever before!! It is only $10 for 2 hours of craziness. The kids have their own skates and did not need the $2 rentals. We will be back as the only roller rink in town!!

Very inefficient system. The blind leading the blind. Long line to get in. Long line to get skates. Forget trying to rent rollerblades or a trainer. Seems like whatever line I'm in is always the wrong one. Good think I enjoy skating and have a kid that enjoys it also. Usually have To take multiple deep breaths to deal with the frustration. Is it really this difficult??

It's the only game in town, sadly. Understaffed which leads to long waits. Waited in a long line to pay to get in. Waited in a long line to get rental skates. Waited in a long line to pay for the trainer to help my kids skate. Waited in a long line to get refreshments. The music is alright. More places to sit would be nice. All of the picnic style tables were taken for birthday parties. I'll go again but only because there's not where else and I have young children who want to skate. Let's improve a bit Roller King.

Took my son and his friend on NYE's and it was horrible!!! The music they played was awful, no flow and heard the same songs multiple times. The dj booth was vacant 75% of the time. There were no referees on the rink making it chaotic with novel skaters constantly failing because of the expert skaters. Expert skaters were making everyone fall. People in groups, holding hands in the middle of the rink. And the smell was horrific!

The building and atmosphere is pretty good. But I've also been skating here for a while. But if there is one area that could use some improvement or better yet a change it would be the adult night dj. His song selections were weak, boring, uneventful and felt like a monotonous loop. He didn't take any requests and didn't seem care either. The way he runs the session is just blah, I've never been to a rink where people bring their own headphones and tune the dj out because they don't want to hear what he's playing. If I had to sum my overall experience it's was good but the dj was trash, hope they make an improvement or just get a better dj

Dirty, filthy, disgusting, bad customer service. Skates stink. They are not cleaned. The seats are filthy and covered in red goo. Place looks like it's never been cleaned. Kids running the place and are all oblivious.

The cookies are the bomb, the staff is awesome, the music is always good and it's a fun place to skate.

Very nice and fun place to visit the staff are excellent! I enjoy the environment however it gets a little hot/cold. Bipolar air, lol.

Ive been going to this rink since I was a young kid, and have seen managers come and go and to see it shut down to it open back up. This is a staple in my life and have to go every week. Wish they would listen to loyal skaters and the issue that go on to make the place a nice community to be apart of. We need a Dj that knows skate music and I would like to vote for Angela as the Dj.

Nice place for kids the best place for adults and kids and there is adults night if your kid is out of Town Best place to go on a weekend

So dirty here, smells like feet, bathrooms so disgusting, holes In ceiling, not enough skates, over capacity, they gave us free admission passes only 1 month passed and they said they expired, they raised the price to 10.00, I don't understand how they did a Netflix series here this place is trash, won't be coming back. You can see the owner only cares about making money,
